File under: Only in America.
A Sanford, FL truck dealership is running a special promotion, offering a free AK-47 with the purchase of a used truck.
Nations Trucks, located at 3700 S. Orlando Drive in Sanford, launched the promotion on Veterans Day and General sales manager Nick Ginetta said the promotion will run until the end of the month.
He said anyone who purchases a truck will receive a $400 voucher to a local gun store. He said customers will have to go through the application process and qualify under state and federal laws. Ginetta said any buyers who don’t want a gun will be given cash.
Ginetta said he also believes it’s a perfect Veterans Day promotion. I believe Ginetta needs to have his head examined.
I think the USA has finally jumped the shark.
Gotta have something to put on those gun racks!
File this one under “Only In Florida”.
Why on earth would you need an AK-47?
Unless you’re planning another Ruby Ridge/Branch Davidian style bunker. This “gun” isn’t used for target shooting, hunting or home protection.
Nothing says America like apple pie, pick up trucks and AK-47s.
Deliverance Nation rules.
Does the NRA still have an office in the White House? I know Bush gave them office space when he was president. The NRA has been very quiet of late, so I was wondering.
Besides the fact we need less people roaming the streets w AK-47 assault rifles, these “free with purchase” deals are gimmicks.
They jack the price up by $2000 & give you a “free” item.
They say there’s one born every minute…..
I’ve been to Florida. I couldn’t wait to get out ASAP. It’s another world.
Christopher,
You changed your blog? I love the updated look. Very graphic and easy on the eyes.
Well done!
Makes perfect sense, down in Crackerland.
According to an ABC report, the vouchers tripled truck sales. I find it ironic that their advertising slogan would promote the most successful gun ever produced by a communist country, the AK-47.
