For Glenn Beck, paranoia is a lifestyle. The increasingly bizarre and peculiar FOX Noise TV personality who once called President Obama “a racist,” and who equated a bipartisan call for more volunteerism a “the road to communism,” has taken to traveling with an armed guard.
Guests at the preview of Broadway musical “Memphis” noticed Beck was closely accompanied — even to the men’s room, by a bodyguard with a gun partially concealed under his jacket.
Beck, who is obsessed with such themes as black helicopters, Chairman Mao and ACORN, is apparently now worried someone is trying to kill him too. A recovering alcoholic, Beck’s mother and brother both committed suicide and he has been close to suicide more than once in his roller coaster of a life.

I suppose it’s better the body guard has the gun and not Beck. He’s so nutty he might pull a Columbine and shoot up the theater or a group of innocent people on a street.

If I were Glenn Beck I would be worried too. He stokes the flames of anti-government paranoia and attracts the lost in the wilderness types who see a red under their bed and a conspiracy behind everything from changes in the packaging of marshmallows to Bones moving to Thursday nights.
The “Beck’s mother committed suicide” story has no legs. The official police report on her death weights towards it being an accident.
I hate to keep seeing this repeated as if it were true. Beck’s mom was a drunk, and she probably did something stupid the day she was out on that lake, but there’s no reason to believe it was deliberate. Beck has pimped that story almost all his life in a bid for sympathy, and I find it to be exceptionally repugnant that he keeps wiping his feet on his mother’s grave.
I wish Beck had commited suicide instead of his brother. The world would be a much better place.

Beck is a dangerous ideologue. If he were to committ suicide, I think millions would cheer and his absence would not be missed.
I don’t typically say that about people but I really think he’s a menace.

He flaps his piehole and hides behind an armed body guard when he goes out in public. Even Billo has bigger cajones than Beck.
What he really needs and deserves is getting his ass kicked on camera captured for posterity and for all the world to watch and enjoy.

And yet, 3 million viewers tune in each afternoon to watch him? I don’t pretend to understand it. Beck’s rants are reminiscent of a crazy person you see in a movie. The guy is nuts.

I don’t know how many times I can say it, nor do I know how many times I can express it so everyone knows exactly how I feel. This dude is the Bottom Feeder of society. He and the rest of his ilk are responsible for the destruction of the Republican Party. A group I once admired for their fiscal responsibility, but no longer can understand their negativity towards basic human rights.

Glen Beck is a wuss, with jello for a spine. Not only is he a crybaby but he has an IQ lower than my two dogs combined. There is not a brain in there folks and the reason he has so many followers is because Americans are by and large uneducated and they are not smart enough to see him for what he really is, an opportunistic hack.
I always get the impression that Glenn Beck is just a huckster. A shameless self-promoter who is not above rubbing Vicks under his eyes to cry on cue.

Olbermann often calls O’Reilly the “Frank Burns of news.” What does that make Beck? The “Biff Tannen of news?”
