Toilet Queen Craig Resigns from Top Committee Posts

Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) has agreed to step down as the top Republican on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee and two other subcommittees pending an investigation of his June arrest, according to a statement from GOP leaders in the Senate. It’s the latest sign that congressional Republicans do not support their embattled colleague.

“Senator Larry Craig has agreed to comply with Leadership’s request that he temporarily step down as the top Republican on the Veteran Affairs Committee, Appropriations Subcommittee on the Interior, and Energy and Natural Resources Subcommittee on Public Lands and Forests,” reads a statement from GOP leadership. “This is not a decision we take lightly but we believe this is in the best interest of the Senate until this situation is resolved by the Ethics Committee.”

Is a senate resignation coming?

I think it’s clear that the GOP leadership is turning its back on Sen. Craig.

This is the beginning of the general election season and they don’t want to make a bad situation worse by keeping him around as a reminder of Republican hypocrisy.

Craig is gone by the end of September.

On the bright side, if he gets buckled again no one’s gonna give a damn once he leaves the Senate…

    Toilet queen? LMAO!

Oh, Christopher. These guys are so screwed up. Not because they’re gay but because they can’t be honest about who they are and they marry, only to engage in this type of behavior.

Therapy, therapy and more therapy! It’s 2007 and there’s nothing wrong being gay.

How many Republican’s in Congress will miss all those “private stall moments” with Craig?
