Sen. David Vitter’s Penis Points to the Money

Sen. David Vitter is the first member of Congress to be implicated in the DC Madam scandal rocking Washington. Yeah, Vitter is a typical, adulterous, GOP hypocrite: he’s a married man, with 4 children, who paid $300 for sex. But it’s his penis — or more precisely, where his penis is pointing that is most fascinating.

Vitter first became a member of the U.S. House in 1998. He successfully ran for the U.S. Senate in 2004. Since 1998, Vitter generated $12,354,936 in contributions to his campaign committees.

In the years that Vitter served in the Congress, his home state of Louisiana was awarded $18.6 billion in Federal contracts. Vitter has artfully forged relationships with many leading defense contractors and corporations who in turn, forked over big dollar checks to his political campaigns. Consider:

Northrup Gruman: a defense contractor says it employees more than 17,000 in Louisiana ans Mississippi, has received $4.3 billion in Federal contracts during Vitter’s time in Congress. Over this time, Northrop contributed $38,050 to Vitter’s campaigns.

McDermott International: an engineering and construction company with facilities in Morgan City and New Orleans, providing services to a variety of customers in the energy and power industries, including the U.S. Government, received $354 million in Federal contracts during Vitter’s time in the Congress. The company gave Vitter $32,250 in campaign contributions.

Edison Chouest Offshore: offshore vessel service company founded in Galliano, La., received about $66 million in Federal contracts during Vitter’s tenure in Congress. The company is the largest campaign contributor to Sen. Vitter. Writing checks totalling $84,526.

Sen. David Vitter serves on the Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs, Insurance, and Automotive Safety. Over his congressional career, the insurance industry has given him $196,379 in campaign contributions.

While Sen. David Vitter may have paid for the sexual services of the DC Madam, it’s his cozy relationship with campaign contributors that suggests he is also a prostitute.

Christopher – this is a great companion piece for the one you wrote linking Hillary Clinton’s ties to the defense industry. We must get corporate money and lobbyists out of our political system or I fear there won’t be a nation left to hand to our grandchildren.

  2. TOM339 says:

The entire Congress are whores who jump for anyone willing to write them a check for their next campaign.

Getting money out of politics is a lofty goal and to be quite frank, I don’t know where we would begin.

  3. Brigadoon says:

Dangle a check in front of a member of Congress and they will perform any trick you tell them to do like a circus chicken. They’re sickening weasels.

Penis pointing… Is that why they call it pp?
