Rachel Maddow Beats All Competitors at 9PM

FOX’s 9PM resident bloviator and Obama-hater, Sean Hannity, was beat in the TV ratings by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow for the first time since January 19, 2009.

Fueled by coverage of the Mitt Romney 47% tape, The Rachel Maddow Show at 9PM earned top ratings among adults 25-54 for the week of September 17, walloping FOX’s Hannity for the first time since January 19, 2009.

At 9PM, Maddow was No. 1 with 567,000, Hannity was second with 500,000. CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight placed third with 198,000.

That’s correct. FOX’s 9PM football-tossing bully boy was creamed by a liberal and a lesbian. Life is good.

  1. Zarathustra says:

Could it be that intelligent people are finally waking up to Hanity’s LIES?????

  2. feminazi says:

Good for Rachel. She’s smart and informed and I always learn something from her.

  3. The Real Adam says:

Hannity is like an insolent teenage bully.

I can just imagine him reading these states and becoming surly with the wife and kicking the family dog in frustration. Hannity is a small, petty son-of-a-bitch who needs his ass kicked. Oh, like Rachel Maddow is doing in the ratings.

  4. Brigadoon says:

Rachel Maddow is hardworking and she’s the rare journalist not often seen on cable news. Most of the men and women on cable are just personalities. Like Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Wolf Blitzer. Not so with Rachel.

  5. TOM339 says:

I always suspected to pick up the paper and read Rachel had moved to NBC or CBS.

She would certainly be a valuable addition to a network committed to intelligent news and not just the usually partisan spin you get everywhere else or the Marquee personalities like Anderson Cooper who is rumored to have a makeup team.

MSNBC had better pay her well and hold onto her.

  6. Rachel says:

Don’t ya just love this? Hannity is such a punk. I love Rachel. She’s smart and funny and she treats her guests with kindness and dignity.

  7. DMason says:

    ^5^ to Rachel!

  8. Randy Arroyo says:

When cable news started, there was the promise of smart and timely news and analysis. Well, that ended after the first 3 years and FOX became the voice of the radical right and CNN decided their future depended on competing with the Murdock network. MSNBC went a different direction, hiring people like Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. While Keith ended up leaving, Rachel remained and she’s fulfilled the original mission of cable news.
