DiFi on Cruise Control

Monday, April 23, 2012

Despite suffering from the stench of war profiteering, having millions of donor dollars embezzled from her election campaign and faced with 21 challengers in a June primary, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) “isn’t a bit worried. Her campaign is on cruise control, her re-election all but certain — yet again.”

Reports the San Jose Mercury News.

“After holding elected office for all but five of the last 42 years, Feinstein is the doyenne of California Democrats. She’s so politically bulletproof that no A-list candidates are wasting their time and money trying to dethrone her.”

She is among the richest members of the US Congress. Reports put her and Richard Blum’s fortune in the $50-to-$100 million range. Yet, despite the fact her behavior as a senator violated the 2007 War Profiteering Act, 51% of California voters (or should I say sheeple) plan to vote to reelect her.

  2. Frank in Castaic says:

Well, this may be true but I can tell you that this Californian has no plans to vote for her.

  3. The Real Adam says:

Feinstein is why Americans say they don’t bother to vote anymore.

The perception that once in office, we can’t get them out. It would take a camera phone scandal of Feinstein flashing her beaver to so put voters off that they cast their ballot for a challenger. What a sad comment on modern politics.

  4. Eric Equality Kuntz says:

DiFi is as qualified to hold elected office as was her friend, Condi Rice, who worked as provost at Stanford University.

Rice’s job was making sure there were an adequate number of chairs for parents to plunk their assess on to watch their kids graduate.

    DiFi is an intellectual flea.

  5. Rachel says:

I think the Founding Fathers would be horrified to see lifetime members of congress. They did not envision an American government populated by such blood sucking leeches as Dianne Feinstein.

  6. Unconditional1 says:

Parasites and blood-sucking opportunists are ubiquitous throughout all political party affiliations. It is called co-creating with free-will choice. It seems today that almost every politician is looking to get fat by sinking their free-will proboscis into the vulnerable skin of exposed opportunity.

  7. Marcus Ybanez says:

Feinstein has never met a war or a Pentagon appropriation she didn’t support.

I don’t pretend to understand why she remains a darling of the left in San Francisco. Yes, she is a supporter of same-sex marriage — it just took her 30 years to get there and she support womens rights and immigrants rights but, she and hubby Richard Blum have had their paws in the Pentagon’s bank account and for this, I hold her in contempt.

  8. Stephen Iversonn says:

The problems with Dianne Feinstein are too numerous to post here.

As a civil libertarian, my disdain for Feinstein is directly tied to her orgiastic support of Bush era Attorney General nominee Michael Mukasey. Mukasey, you might recall, supported Bush’s use of the controversial and illegal use of waterboarding.

Both Sens. Dianne Feinstein of California and Charles Schumer of New York, are Jewish and Mukasey is also a Jew, so many concluded the “club” trumped adherence to the Constitution and the rule of law.

While Feinstein said on the record, “serious questions have been raised about Judge Mukasey’s views on torture and on separation of powers,” Feinstein ignored her own words and stunned the US Senate by voting to confirm Mukasey, saying the nominee deserved to become Attorney General “because the Justice Department needed fresh leadership.”

Feinstein is a dumb woman and after all these decades in Washington, has learned very little.

  9. Unconditional1 says:

Although Stephen, it may have taken decades but…she DID learn how to milk the cow!

  10. Randy Arroyo says:

I’m embarrassed to say I never knew any of this about Feinstein and I’m from San Diego and voted for her old bones. My father used to say, they politicians go to Washington clean but leave with dirty hands. Feinstein’s hands are covered with shit.

    Too big to fail?

  12. Debbie Banuelos says:

    Isn’t DiFi like 100 now?
