From the Left 
Rick Perry and the other social conservatives in the GOP field like Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum, are trying to appeal to older voters who have less and less influence in the national dialogue. Young Americans, the post-Will and Grace generation, came of age with gay people and they don’t understand the bigotry Rick Perry is trying to sell. These kids are great. Rick Perry on the other hand, isn’t so great. He will be gone after next Tuesday.
Listening to these kids negative reaction to Perry makes it a very good new year indeed.
Somewhere deep in the ‘Heart of Texas,’ a village is missing its idiot.
Does he actually believe this “santorum,” or is he merely spewing (that), which he feels ultra-conservative voters, would want to hear?
If this were 1962 instead of 2012, Rick Perry would be drawling about the evils of school integration and mixed marriages.
The world has changed, evolved and the U.S. is growing up. But Perry is stuck in another century.
Perry is such an asshole. I detest him and his dead eyes.
