Mistake“: verb

1. to blunder in the choice of
2. to make a wrong judgment of the character or ability of
3. to identify wrongly

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, AKA, the Big Dick, told ABC News he wouldn’t comment on advice he gave Mitt Romney on picking a vice presidential running mate but he was brutally harsh in his assessment of Sen. John McCain’s decision to pick Sarah Palin four years ago.

Cheney told ABC News: “That one, I don’t think was well handled.”

He added: “Based on her background, she’d only been governor for, what, two years. I don’t think she passed that test of being ready to take over. And I think that was a mistake.”

I couldn’t agree more, Mr. Cheney. Mama Grifter is a genuine nitwit.

  1. The Real Adam says:

Cheney always surprises. Whether he comes out in support of same-sex marriage or calling the Idiot Palin a “mistake.”

I guess at this point of his life (heart transplant) he figures, what have I got to lose?

  2. Mets Fan says:

CNN had a segment about Le Palin today and they used the Pink song “Stupid Girls” as the lead-in.

The radical, right is outraged. How dare CNN use a song that captures the lack of intellectualism Palin consistently displays? She’s a genius, they insist! A genius!

  3. Brigadoon says:

    Cheney is 100% correct.

  4. Palin is a Cunt says:

    Sarah Palin is a cunt.

  5. DMason says:

I get the impression there is bad blood between Cheney and McCain? If I didn’t know better, I would guess back in 2008, Cheney told McCain to pick another VP. Adding her to the ticket would prove to be a political disaster. McCain, being weak-as-water, ignored Cheney’s advice and the rest, as they say is history.

  6. Seabec says:

There’s a picture on the internet of Sarah and Todd prominently holding Chick-Fill-A bags. Yeah, we get it Sarah, you hate “teh gays.” The good news is, the gays hate you right back.

  7. Peace Nick says:

Dick Cheney has been loitering around Washington DC since the Nixon administration.

Agree or disagree with his politics but he knows a circus act when he sees one. Sarah Palin and her white trash brood are a circus act.

  8. Abbey Peripatetic says:

It is true remarkable to me that this grifter family managed to crawl out of the Meth capital of Alaska, Wasilla, and take it to the bank.

It’s as much a comment on the sick shape of American, popular culture as it is on them. Now the daughter was invited back to Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars. The Palins are like a bad case of Chlamydia.

  9. Eric "Equality" Kuntz says:

Sarah Palin’s heavily ghost written books don’t sell as well as they once did and copies can usually be found on the $5 discount bin when you enter a Barnes and Noble.

Her brand was significantly damaged after Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and Americans unfamiliar with Palin discovered she had put Giffords in a rifle scope on a campaign poster.

Palin is a classless hag who the GOP is distancing itself from.

  10. Rachel says:

Sarah Palin is the best argument I’ve ever seen for abortion. Was that harsh? 😉

  11. panasit says:

For Cheney to call Sistah Sarah a “mistake” makes him a heretic in some GOP circles but he is correct. I will never forgive the Sen. John McCain team for dragging this bitch out of obscurity and providing her a pathway to riches. Palin hasn’t earned it and she doesn’t deserve it.

  12. Tena says:

And with this brutal assessment, Dick Cheney becomes a nonentity to Sean Hannity!

  13. Bill Hussein O'Reilly says:

    Palin looks like a tranny.
    Apologies to trannies everywhere.

  14. He didn’t call her a mistake. He called her nomination a mistake. Don’t give him too much credit, because she is also a mistake, and he didn’t say that.

  15. feminazi says:

It’s good to see Palin has one fan here.

  16. Estacada says:

As governor, Palin sought to increase the number of permits to allow aerial shooting of wolves and bears.

What Alaska needed was an increase in permits to shoot members of the Palin family. Since there are dozens of them and they reproduce at an alarming rate, there is no chance of them going extinct although that wouldn’t be a bad thing.

  17. ChiTOM says:

It’s difficult to remember a time when Palin was mentioned as a possible presidential candidate. That will never happen now. Palin Inc. is the nation’s freakshow. Opining on Fixed News and reality show appearances are her only options to pay the mortgage and utility bill. Even her books don’t sell now.

  18. Glo says:

Ms. Palin would be a perfectly splendid vice presidential choice for Mitt Romney.

She is a former may and governor and is a fast learn. As governor, she managed a staff of more than 90,000 state employees and turned in a balanced budget each year she served the people of Alaska. Also, Ms. Palin is a social conservative and her values have never wavered.

Let’s hope Mr. Romney makes the right choice and adds Sarah Palin to the ticket!

  19. Harry says:

I hope Sarah Palin chokes on her bigot chicken.

  20. Tiny Dancer says:

Glo – Are you off your meds, sweetie? It’s not pretty.

  21. Stephen Iversonn says:

You should put your tongue back in your bourbon-soaked mouth.

Palin remains the most invested governor in Alaska history. She had more than 20 ethics violations garnered in a brief 24 months in office.

For you to say she is qualified to be anybody’s VP is ridiculous. Personally, I hope Romney does choose her because watching the two of them sink like two turds in a commode would be great political theater.
