Massive Tornado Swarm Hits Dallas

Tuesday, April 3, 2012

The National Weather Service reported at least two separate “large and extremely dangerous” tornadoes touched down in the Dallas and Fort Worth metro areas.

Several huge semi trucks were seen being thrown into the air like toys.

The Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) International Airport was closed to all incoming and outgoing flights. DFW — the nation’s fourth busiest, handles 1,750 flights a day.

Further complicating airline traffic in Dallas, American Airlines reported they are grounding as many as sixty airliners to inspect the planes for possible hail damage to wings and tail sections.

Damage was also reported at Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park in Arlington.

Welcome to the new weather normal. Storms arrive earlier and are more violent and destructive. This is what we have to get used to thanks to climate change. Nitwits like Mitt Romney can deny the facts of climate change until his magic underwear explode but, the weather in the U.S. is changing and it isn’t a good thing.

  2. Mets Fan says:

This video is amazing! Those semi trucks look like toys. It’s like a scene from the movie War of the Worlds.

I’m glad I don’t live in Dallas! Thanks for posting.

  3. Texas BOb says:

Only morons and fools still believe in “global warming” Biggest big of crapola since believing that BHO would actually be a fair and honest president instead of the blatant racist commie he has shown himself to be, along with having a wife who loves the high life on someone elses dime and I am not talking about Millers.

  4. Arizona Leatherneck says:

The last time there was an April 3rd outbreak of tornadoes in Dallas was 1974.

This swarm was particularly large and filled with energy. I can’t believe no one died. The warning system worked and people listened.

  5. Randy Arroyo says:

Never seen semi trucks tossed around like that. I’m amazed no one died.

  6. Eric Equality Kuntz says:

The fact is, more than 7,000 heat records were broken this winter.

Canada and Denmark have signed a freight shipping agreement to move goods from Canada across the Arctic Circle versus around the Atlantic Ocean passage because there is so little ice now that direct shipping is a reality.

The weather is changing and the earth is heating. Only a 3rd grade Hillbilly dropout can deny the science of climate change.

Holy Crap ~ Jaw dropping footage.
Next up Gov Rick (the executor) Perry whining for aid.

  8. Joe in Colorado says:

Rick Perry says “the Lord is angry at me for quitting the race.” He’s a prophet in his own time, after all.

  9. ♛ Show Queen ♛ says:

Too bad one of those big trucks didn’t land on Rick Perry, crushing him like a bug.
