The Old Coot Endorses Obama for President in 2012

Saturday, January 7, 2012

If you thought the Old Coot was a tottering nincompoop in 2008, see him here, four years later, mistakenly endorse President Barack Obama for president when he meant to endorse Willard “Mitt” Romney.

With his signature flipper arms flapping, Sen. John McCain appears not to know if he’s in Arizona or Washington. It’s time to retire and start spending his rich beer heiress wife’s millions.

And to think, in 2008, he could have been elected president with Mama Grifter waiting in the wings to snatch the reigns of power. So scary.

  1. Eric Equality Kuntz says:

    John McCain’s Theme Song

They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
    Flying there-under, under the sea!

  2. Unconditional1 says:

Absolutely hilarious! Glad to hear that you John are so confident…for most of the country finds the jury to still be out with this current White House administration.

  3. Joe in Colorado says:

    All I’ve got is, ROFLMAO!

  4. Rachel says:

Some might call this a classic Freudian slip. McCain knows the economy is slowly beginning to get better and glimmers of new jobs creation is being seen in several dozen U.S. cities. This is Obama’s recovery and not Romney’s. To make a change at the top at this critical time would be a disaster. So, he let slip that Obama is the man for the job.

  5. R.J. says:

I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw this.

  6. Sayingwhatneedsaying says:

Hey McCoot, help the President some more….. Pick Mitt’s running mate for him. Maybe you can dig up Lizzie Borden.

  7. Tena says:

McCain got it right the first time.
    Obama 2012!

  8. DMason says:

    McCain’s new nickname is McGaffe.

  9. Pechanga says:

    McCain is truly despicable.

I don’t understand why the voters of Arizona keep reelecting this media whore. I can’t think of another member of the US senate to is so besotted by a camera. Put a TV news camera anywhere near the US Capitol and McCain would knock down his elderly mother to get his mug in front of it.

  10. In 2008, I said if the Old Coot and Mama Grifter had won the election, he had better hire a food taster because Nanook of the North would’ve probably poisoned his prunes so she could assume the presidency.

    I am not joking.

  11. okjimm says:

McCain/Palin scary????? Rick Santorum scares the shit out of me…..that he is even on a potential candidate list is ….. like something out of a Stephen King novel….. his mind is “The Dead Zone”…. and I ain’t talking Jerry Garcia.

  12. Harry says:

John McCain enjoys the dubious distinction of being in the top 10% of senators who missed floor votes. Old boy is just calling it in now. I hope Arizona enjoys him.

  13. WOW — he didn’t catch that slip on his own. He put on his most sincere-sounding voice, and oops, his real opinion came out. McCain has had surprising moments of decency before. Somewhere under that hypocrisy and corruption, there’s a soul, and I hope he recognizes it and repents before he dies. Not just for his sake, but for ours — as a warning of how a patriotic, well-respected man with a couple of weaknesses became, as Pechanga said, despicable.

  14. Adirondacky says:

McCoot was probably bound up. His handlers forgot to give him his cup of prunes.

  15. Sayingwhatneedsaying says:

You know….. people with severe Altzheimers really need to be watch more closely…..

  16. Fran says:

OH MAN! THAT’S WHAT ROMNEY GETS FOR HAVING MCGRAMPS ENDORSEMENT.

  17. Fran says:

HE MAY BE CONFIDENT, BUT IS HE COMPETENT?
MAKES ME WONDER IF THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME ROMNEY PARADES MCCAIN UP ON A LIVE STAGE?
ANY FUTURE ENDORSEMENTS NEED TO BE PRE RECORDED & SCREENED.
    THAT WAS A HUGE MCBLUNDER.

  18. Marcus Ybanez says:

“The Old Coot.” Such a perfect description of McCain.

  19. ultragreen says:

This boo-boo serves Romney right for putting this senile old coot in front of a microphone during his campaign. And shame on him for attempting to take advantage of someone who is obviously mentally impaired!
