Herman Cain Accuser Sharon Bialek Seen Here with Her Attorney Gloria Allred

Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain is in, as they say, in deep bandini.

High-profile attorney Gloria Allred stepped to the microphone with her Sharon Bialek, today and told reporters and the country her client was subject to an unwanted sexual advance from the Republican presidential candidate.

Sharon Bialek, is white, a lifelong Republican and a native of Chicago, the parent of a 13-year old son. She is a single parent as well as a college-educated professional. She had worked for the National Restaurant Association before being terminated in 1997.

Allred said when Bialek lost her job, she reached out to Herman Cain for help. Allred said:

“Mr. Cain instead decided to try to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package.”

Next, Sharon Bialek detailed the nature of Cain’s sexual advances, explaining he spent money on a palatial hotel suite for her to stay in when they met in Chicago. Bialek thought her boyfriend — a physician, had upgraded her room as a surprise.

When Bialek and Cain saw each other in the evening, Bialek said Cain put his hand on her leg saying, “reached for my genitals, then pushed my head toward his crotch.”

When Bialek asked Cain what he was doing, he said, “You want a job, right?”

Bialek called on Cain to “come clean about what you did,” saying: “Mr. Cain, I implore you, make this right.”

Gloria Allred said:

“I, for one, am disgusted at Mr. Cain’s serial sexual harassment of women. Because Mr. Cain, while running for president, is actively lying to Americans and showing disdain for our common sense and intellect.”

Great blogging, as usual, Christopher. Thank you for keeping on top of this story and not letting it get pushed aside by the Michael Jackson/Conrad Murray story. This is so important and goes to the heart of who this country elects to be president. Do we want a decent man (Obama) or do we want a serial sexual abuser (Cain). I think the answer is self-evident. Obama may be flawed but he’s is a decent man and I know he would never treat his wife like this.

  2. Harry says:

Cain will never survive this. He will be gone by Friday. Next? 🙂

  3. Jill says:

Creditable, you say – you must be joking? This lady is a hustler and to think her so called boyfriend set this up for her tells you she either made it up or he is an idiot ( pimp). Never would a CEO meet with an ex employee to discuss a job issue after she was fired, never. And she said she didn’t even tell her boyfriend afterwards. Even if she did meet him SHE DID NOT WORK FOR HIM AT THE TIME, so there could be no sex abuse or harrassement. She just missed her hustle and saw a chance 12 years later to try and make some money. She has never had a credibale job and probably lives off all these doctors she talks about as their little girl. Really sad and I hope Cain sues her and the Celebrity Attorney for her statements and using this as a grand stand for the liberal for something that is only alledged. What has this world come to when people in politics resort to these type of tactics. It’s obvious the liberal are afraid of Cain. How embarassing.

  4. Marcus Ybanez says:

Then there were four and this one is singing like a bird.

You know, based on what I saw today in the person of Sharon Bialek looked and sounded perfectly credible to me. Plus, she brought two, sworn statements from her boyfriend and a businessman who say under threat of perjury that Bialek told both of them about Herman Cain’s roving hands at the time the incident took place. Cain had better man up and deal with this or like Harry say, he’s toast by Friday. Maybe sooner.

  5. Fran says:

    R.I.P. Cain campaign. He’s finished.

  6. passionrose says:

This is nothing more than the same tactics used to try and destroy a candidate. The woman in question here, Miss Bialek, should bring her need for fulfillment to her boyfriend, tell the truth in this situation, and go home.

  7. DMason says:

Cain used his position to try and score poontang. He’s a scumbag. A despot. A pig. Good riddance, Herman. You’re campaign is DOA. It’s back to the pizza shop for you.

  8. passionrose says:

On one hand, you all sound like school children who have never been exposed to the way this despicable game is played and on the other, like uninformed citizens who have never read the Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Federalist Papers, etc……..or is this a muslim country where someone is guilty before proven innocent? And since when do we take a persons word and sworn statements as proof for these allegations? What, have we never been lied to or seen the corruption of someone purger themselves for a greater agenda? Wake up people!!!

  9. passionrose,

I’ve read the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Federalist Papers. I’m well aware of the fact we do not live in a Muslim country.

So what does any of this have to do with not one, not two, not three but now four women coming forward to say they were sexually harassed by Herman Cain?

This issue here isn’t the origins of this great nation called the USA. The issue here is the behavior of the Tea Party darling, Herman Cain, and his abuse of power and his behavior toward a cadre of women.

    You sound quite deranged, IMHO.

Jill: “Never would a CEO meet with an ex employee to discuss a job issue after she was fired, never. And she said she didn’t even tell her boyfriend afterwards. Even if she did meet him SHE DID NOT WORK FOR HIM AT THE TIME, so there could be no sex abuse or harrassement.”

First of all, Ms. Bialek was laid off from the education fund of the National Restaurant Association — she was NOT fired as you have claimed.

Secondly, Ms. Bialek DID tell her boyfriend after the incident occurred — he submitted an affidavit to that effect to her lawyer, Gloria Allred. She also told a businessman about the incident shortly after it occurred, who has also submitted a second affidavit to that effect.

If a man gropes a woman by sticking his hand up her dress toward her genitals and pushes her head downward his genitals without first obtaining permission to engage in such actions, that is a clear case of sexual abuse or harassment. It doesn’t matter in the least what her employment status is! I am shocked that anyone would attempt to claim that such behavior isn’t sexual abuse or harassment.

By making such erroneous statements, the defenders of Herman Cain are making themselves look completely ridiculous.

  11. Bill Hussein O'Reilly says:

It would appear that “999” refers to the number of women Herman tried to stick his Cain in.

  12. Thai Noodles says:

Is the Tea Party truly this interested in electing a flawed African American candidate on the Koch Brother’s payroll? I mean, is this someone they leave their daughters and wives alone with when and hope nothing happens? I wouldn’t leave my dog alone with Herman Cain.

  13. emcee says:

    CAIN/PALIN 2012!

Obama wins in a historic landslide!

  14. Seabec says:

Thai Noodles – You have to remember, the Teabaggers are so lame that they don’t understand their name is associated with a gay sex act. No offense to gay folks who I adore.

But the Teabaggers are utterly clueless. They’ve been co-opted by the Koch Brothers and they’ve been convinced that giving tax breaks to the upper 1% of earners will somehow benefit them.

I mean, these people are old enough to remember how well trickle down worked when Reagan was in the White House. It didn’t work very well.

  15. Not Microchipped says:

Cain is a true sociopath: everyone is wrong but me. They’re all out to git me.

  16. Cami Lampert says:

First of all I would be interested in knowing why she was fired. second, I am interested in knowing
how she found Gloria Allred (we all know her history.) I think this was a missed attempt to shake
Cain down 12 years ago and now she has another opportunity to get her 15 minutes of fame and a sweet stipend. I know the liberals love this, but how did Bill get away with the myriad of women
who he had sexual relations with, one for more than 12 years and one in the oval office, yet
the liberals now hold him up as the revered Statesmen. Remember Hillary going on the morning show: They have been out to get my husband since he announced for president….unfortunately
the little girl put the dress in a zip-lock , and the jig was up. This smack’s of a double standard.
Look Cain never had a chance of getting the nomination….but, he does not deserve to be smeared before he has a chance to defend himself….innocent till proven guilty.

  17. Adirondacky says:

Cami – Sharon Bialek said in the press conference she didn’t raise enough money for the Nat’l Restaurant Association. They wanted more donations than were coming in so they axed her. I find it curious you say she’s interested in her 15 minutes of fame? Maybe it’s a strange cultural thing but women are really vicious with other women. I would think you would be supportive but it isn’t so.

  18. nonnie9999 says:

cain didn’t have a chance to defend himself? 😯 have you turned on the tv in the last week? he’s done nothing but defend himself. he thought he was safe and could say whatever he wanted, because, under the settlement, the women had agreed to not speak. ms bialek never sued, so she doesn’t have to remain silent.

  19. Joe in Colorado says:

This is a textbook quid pro quo. A powerful man exploits a woman and sometimes, a man, in order to get favor. In Cain’s case, sex from Ms. Bialek for a job. It’s disgusting and it’s wrong. Cain is married and as someone in corporate America, Cain should really know better. Now comes word today of a possible fifth woman who may come forward. The skies are raining Cain’s victims.

  20. feminazi says:

Adirondacky – I noticed this too. Bialek is the kind of accuser who could damage Herman Cain the most; an attractive blonde Republican, a mom who attends Tea Party events. Yet she is derided and ridiculed mostly by other women. I don’t get it. Why aren’t more women supporting her?

  21. Mets Fan says:

Sharon Bialek said, “Cain reached for my genitals.’ Can you imagine the rightwing echo chamber is Cain was a Democrat and a woman came forward to say this?

CNN, FOX, the Washington Times, and rightwing pundits would be covering the story ad nauseum.

  22. lea-lea says:

Cami says, “Gloria Allred (we all know her history.)”

    Yes we do, Cami.

Ms. Allred has a professional history as a civil rights attorney taking on the cases of ordinary people, as well as the famous. Cases of women workers being paid less than a man for equal work, antigay discrimination cases in employment and housing, a lifelong commitment to the fight for reproductive freedom, putting a stop to the practice by the city of El Segundo, CA of quizzing job applicants about their sexual histories.

Exactly what justice for all is supposed to mean in America.

  23. retahyajyajav says:

A fifth woman may come forward this week alleging Herman tried to stick his Cain in her. The Tea Baggers and the Koch Brothers need to face reality. Herman’s done. It’s time to stick a fork in him.

  24. jon says:

She does look like the drunk mother in american pie movie that slept with her son’s friend !

  25. ultragreen says:

Cami Lampert: “First of all I would be interested in knowing why she was fired.”

She wasn’t fired. She was laid off from the Education Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. Their offices are in Chicago. It’s highly doubtful that Cain was involved in this decision as his office is located in D.C. She was seeking a job through Cain in other divisions of the organization.

Cami Lampert: “I know the liberals love this, but how did Bill get away with the myriad of women
who he had sexual relations with . . . .”

This issue doesn’t involve Bill Clinton, therefore what Clinton may have done in the past is irrelevant. If some liberals love the developing Cain scandal, then it is safe to to assume that some conservatives (meaning “you”) hate it and wish that it was swept under the rug. That’s essentially what you are trying to do.

Cami Lampert: “Look Cain never had a chance of getting the nomination….but, he does not deserve to be smeared before he has a chance to defend himself….innocent till proven guilty.”

Anyone who runs for President of the United States should be prepared to take some heat and expect an investigation into his or her past. That’s how the system works. There’s no good reason why Herman Cain should receive preferred treatment over any other candidate. Herman Cain HAS been allowed to defend himself, and he’s been doing it ad nauseum ever since the scandal developed. “Innocent till proven guilty” applies to criminal trials in the United States, but it is not necessarily applicable to other matters, such as running for president.
