The Fat Man Says Fat Chance

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Porcine Gov. Chris Christie told a crowd of about 900 at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA on Tuesday that he is not running for president.

The New Jersey Republican said he was flattered by suggestions he should run in 2012, but added, “that reason has to reside inside me.”

Speculation of a possible Christie presidential run is all the buzz of late as the RNC becomes increasingly disheartened by their hapless field of candidates.

  1. Eric Equality Kuntz says:

Christie is too liberal on social issues to ever carry the base of today’s Republican party.

  2. feminazi says:

The media keeps pushing this and Christie keeps pushing back. How many times must he say “no” before the Beltway pundits understand no, means no? Christie is like the high school girl who keeps telling her boyfriend she doesn’t want to have sex but her boyfriend refuses to listen. The “Is Christie running” thing is tiresome.

  3. Robyn says:

Christie would probably beat Barack Obama in an election. I think his health problems are preventing him from running.

  4. Mets Fan says:

Christie is too fat to be president.

Before anyone spams me for saying this, let me say some of my better friends are tubby and I adore them but, the last vestige of discrimination in America is fat — or more precisely being fat, so I can’t see Christie winning the presidency in 2012.

  5. Rachel says:

I wonder if Romney might consider Christie as his veep?

  6. DMason says:

Christie reminds me of Jackie Gleason.

  7. Peace Nick says:

Christie reminds me of Jackie Gleason.

ROFL! You’re right, David. Totally Jackie Gleason.

Christie looks like he’s saying “To the moon, Alice. To the moon.”

  8. The Real Adam says:

Christie is way too mainstream for today’s Tea party.

He’s a northeastern Republican like Rudy Giuliani and the nutjobs in Tea Party would chew him up and spit him out in the Hudson River. Luckily, the extremism that has infected 90% of the Republican party hasn’t quite reached NJ, NY, CT and MA.
