Palin Docu-Fantasy is an Epic Bomb

Monday, July 25, 2011

The numbers are in for Mama Grifter’s docu-fantasy and it’s an epic bomb.

Titled the “The Undefeated”, it was released in 14 Tea Party-friendly locations, it grossed just $24,000 the first weekend. This translates to $1,714 a screen.

Worse still for what what is seen by Palin’s handlers as a potential rollout for her 2012 presidential pipe dream, box office receipts declined another 63 percent the second week for the docu-fantasy.

If you just can’t get enough of the grifter from Wasilla, a “special edition” DVD containing additional new content will soon be sold at Walmart.

Palin will not run in 2012. The Tea Party has their queen and her name is Michele Bachmann. Palin missed her chance and now she’s relegated to FOX News appearances and book signings at Hooter’s.

  2. maddie says:

Palin. Bachmann and Perry are crazy right wing nuts.

  3. Joe in Colorado says:

From everything I read, “The Undefeated” is really nothing more than a vanity video. This sill broad has accomplished nothing other than hanging a $20 million dollar debt around the necks of the residents of Wasilla (they were debt-free before Palin came along) and quitting her term as AK governor which cost the state $1 million dollars.

  4. Sayingwhatneedsaying says:

She might have done better if she had just tried to sell her ass, outright.

  5. Rachel says:

I read the Koch Brothers funded this National Geographic-esque effort. I guess they are so rich they can absorb the loss and still pronounce it a “success.” What I just don’t understand is the media’s fascination with her? Chris Matthews and Andrea Mitchell yap about her almost everyday. MSNBC gives Palin the most facetime of all.

  6. Estacada says:

The Koch Brothers are behind this? ROFLMAO!

    Why am I not surprised?

  7. Harry says:

    Sarah darling, just SFTU.

  8. Jim says:

GAG me! What an AWFUL ideal for a movie.

  9. Unconditional1 says:

There was a time when the GOP actually rolled out some seriously qualified contenders for the White House, but unfortunately Lincoln was assassinated.

  10. Robyn says:

Maybe this should have gone straight to DVD like most Dean Cain movies?

  11. fran says:

Palin’s flop of a film will be an “exclusive” @ Wal Mart?

    Bwa ha ha!

  12. Randy Arroyo says:

What could they possibly put on a DVD that we don’t already know about Mama Grifter? I can’t wait to hear the details from Levi Johnston’s book that traces the six months he lived with the Palins. I saw an article that said Palin Inc. is really worried about what he’s going to reveal. Should be a hoot.

  13. Adirondacky says:

Did they think they had Gone with the Wind 2.0 on their hands? Please.

  14. JollyRoger says:

Riefenstahl turns over in her grave, no doubt. The Wasilla White Trash took her idea and Springer-ized it.

  15. Whatever it takes to keep her from running in 2012. Don’t need her, don’t want her, wish she would just go away.
