Former Rep. Mark Foley OK with Adult/Child Sexual Contact

Friday, June 10, 2011

There are times I just sit back and scratch my head in disbelief. This happens to be one of those times.

Former Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) sat down with the equally creep FOX personality Sean Hannity on Thursday to discuss the Rep. Anthony Weiner fracas. Foley, you may recall, was forced to resign from the Congress in 2006 after he was busted for sending sexually explicit IM emails to male teenage congressional pages.

It came as no surprise to me that Foley doesn’t think Weiner should step down.

But the real corker in the interview is when Mark Foley shares his NAMBLA-like views of the potential legal consequences of adult/child sexual contact.

Hannity calmly asks Foley whether people should “go to jail” for sending explicit emails and IMs like Foley did. Foley flatly states, “No.”

Hannity then asks Foley “Should they be arrested?” Foley replies “No.”

I think you hit the nail on the head.

Mark Foley is one of those guys who thinks adults/minor sex should be decriminalized a la, ancient Greece. He digs boys and teenagers because he isn’t a fully former, adult man himself. Thank goodness he was forced to resign from the US Congress. Too bad the Dumbos don’t do the same with Anthony Weiner.

  2. Jolly Roger says:

Well…. yeah. Foley, being a kindred spirit, would naturally see nothing wrong with it.

“Ay Yi Yi Yi Yi Yi!

No wonder congress gets nothing done. 90% are men and 10% of them are perverts. Seriously, Foley needs therapy and should be compelled by the state of Florida to not have contact with anyone under the age of 21 years.

  4. Adirondacky says:

I don’t know Mark Foley but I would bet $20 that he has an extensive collection of twink naughty mags at home. Guys like Foley can’t function with adult men and women so they dip down into the next age tier and try to form relationships. The reason we have laws on the books to protect children is the majority of minors aren’t capable developmentally of making the decision to enter into an intimate relationship with adults. I assume Foley went to college? This stuff is Psych 101 and he should know better.

All Pedophiles believe that…. He really should get a job at the Vatican!

  6. feminazi says:

The host was calm and forthright. He asked Mark Foley a serious of direct questions and Mr. Foley responded. I have to admit I was uncomfortable watching this video. It was a glimpse into the mind of someone who flirted with a series of 15, 16, and 17 year old boys and tried to get them to sleepover, lost his job over it and continues to think he did nothing wrong. Where would he draw the line for adult/child sexual contact? Age 8? Age 6? No wonder the American public hates the Congress.

  7. Harry says:

Is Sean Hannity auditioning to replace Chris Hansen on NBC’s “To Catch a Predator” series?

  8. Mets Fan says:

Any way you slice it, Mark Foley is a major creep.

You might think he would just avoid going on cable news programs to discuss his taste for underage boys? But it’s clear his narcissism got the best of him and Sean Hannity was all too happy to let him dig a grave for himself.
