BP, or British Petroleum, the star player in the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, whose hubris, recklessness and arrogance allowed them to achieve self-regulation with the US Department of Interior, and ultimately lead to the worst environmental catastrophe in American history, just happened to be where President Obama’s team stopped in London to gas up his massive entourage of seven vehicles.
One passer-by said it was ironic that President Obama’s motorcade filled up at a BP station. As if there were no other gas stations in all of London?
Workers at the station report Obama’s entourage spent £350 in total on BP fuel for the seven cars. £350 roughly translates to $567.30 that went to BP.
