“When I wake in the morning, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to give me the strength to do right by our country and its people. And when I go to bed at night, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to forgive me my sins, and look after my family and the American people, and make me an instrument of His will.” – President Pootie Tang at the National Prayer Breakfast
“Sa da tay Jesus, Dirty Dee! ROFL!
I’m so tired of Barack Obama. I almost would prefer a Republican in the White House. Then, we can elected a Democratic majority in the House, keep a Democratic majority in the Senate and we can have true divided government.
As things stand right now, we have a DINO Democratic president who just pisses everyone off.
As much as I dislike Obama, I’m glad he’s not McCain or have Palin as our vice president.
Something went wrong in Pootie’s early education and upbringing! He doesn’t know the difference between right & wrong? Why didn’t Pootie tell us three years ago? Ford protect us…………….
Whether you’re a Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, agnostic or atheist, I was taught as a child to keep my beliefs quiet and not make a spectacle of them to the public.
Of course, Obama’s dilemma is, half of American think he’s a Muslim so he’s tasked with convincing the public that they have nothing to fear about his religious beliefs. I must think it’s quite a burdensome balancing act for him.
Personally, I would be happy not knowing what religion my president belongs to. It’s really none of my business. When I see Obama at this idiotic prayer ceremony, it makes me uncomfortable. It’s the ultimate TMI.
It’s more like the US elects a Muslim than an atheist.
We’re a Bible-thumping, God-fearing, war loving, football worshiping nation of BBQ wing eaters. Pootie knows what side his bread is buttered on.
Nobody’s trying to reach those of us who reject religion, and we form a pretty hefty plurality-certainly bigger than the Jesusistan fringe who always turns out for Rushpubliscums.
The “National Prayer Breakfast” is inherently discriminatory against atheists. It’s agenda of shoving Christianity down the throats of non Christians is insulting and oppressive. Barack Bush shouldn’t have anything to do with such a hateful event.
BTW: I like the We Won’t Fly link. The carcinogenic porno scanners are reprehensible. Cancer is a far greater threat to the lives of Americans than terrorism.
