Sarah Palin’s Approval Drops in Latest Poll

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

Ten days after the Tucson massacre which resulted in Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords being shot in the head, as well as the deaths of US District Judge John Rolls, it looks like Sarah Palin’s favorable ratings have landed in the rifle crosshairs.

Palin’s approval has dropped to 38%: the lowest since she crawled out of Wasilla, AK on her hands and knees in the 2008 to be John McCain’s running mate.

Palin’s unfavorable rating has soared to 53%.

100% would be great, and send this buffoon packing.

  2. Palin is a Cunt says:

    Palin’s unfavorable is 53%.

Wait until Levi Johnston publishes his tell-all autobiography which will describe how his almost-mother-in-law would give him blowjobs whenever Bristol was out of the house. This will rock the Tea Party to where the wheelchair touches the pavement.

  3. That brings her into a close tie with Obama’s unfavorable rating. They are both sucking but only one of them holds office. What do you think that says about them both?

  4. Mets Fan says:

Chicken Hummer — I clicked your little namey and it took me to a blog with pictures of animals being tortured?

What does this say about you? Deriving pleasure from helpless animals in various unnatural states and capture. Does this make you hard? Allow you to satisfy your freakish fetish of bestiality? Did your parents force you watch farm animals copulate as a child? Do tell.

  5. Tiny Dancer says:

The unintended bonus from the Tucson shooting is the American people who don’t pay attention to politics on a regular basis, were introduced to Sarah Palin and his violence-inducing rhetoric and graphology in a major way, leaving no doubt about who she is and what she stands for.

In other words, enjoy FOX Noise honey, because that’s all you’ve got to look forward to.

  6. Greg Equality Lengkong says:

A new CNN/Opinion Research poll finds Obama’s approval rating is up five points to 53% “as a growing number of Americans consider him a strong leader who is tough enough to handle a crisis.”

    Good enough for me.

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll finds President Obama’s approval rating at 54%, the highest it’s been in more than a year.

    Also, good enough for me.

But Sarah Palin’s approval has dropped to 38%.

Sinking faster than a large, dense turd.

  7. Arizona Leatherneck says:

Palin is a political extremist. She will never hold national, elected office.

Her future will be relegated to yapping at gun shows, adding her name to ghost written books, and appearing at the RNC and on Fox.

Of course, she might get an offer to juggle, while standing upside-down nekkid at the Adult Video Awards in Las Vegas.

Talk about a National Geographic special.

  8. Chad Lebanon says:

    Palin’s future is porn.

She’ll begin with light porn then as her body ages and her tits sag, she’ll be forced to do the hard shit. Really nasty, all-out pornography that would make even Hustler’s Larry Flynt squirm.

  9. Randy Arroyo says:

Mets Fan – You’re right. I clicked Chicken Hammer’s name and saw the same crap. You know, psychiatry has studied serial killers are almost all of them started life abusing animals. I hope ObamaCare includes mental health services for these disturbed folks who live on the fringes if society.

  10. Seabec says:

38% approval? Are you sure that isn’t a typo? Maybe 28% or 18% but, 38% seems awfully high. The Teabaggers are said to number roughly 9% or 11% of the GOP fringe.

  11. Adirondacky says:

Not only the tiny numbers Seabec posted but, the Tea Party is mostly made up of people over the age of 65. So the question begs. Is this poll a generic poll or a geriatric poll?

  12. Idaho Librul says:

So Sean Hannity landed the first major sit-down interview with Palin after the Tucson shooting?

Please tell me how on earth did Sean Hannity do it? Talk about journalist gravitas and influence!

I mean, Palin could’ve spoken to a half dozen other high profile media people but she went with her colleague, Sean Hannity. I couldn’t bring myself to watching so maybe someone who watched can tell me if Hannity swooned and swayed and told Palin how attractive he found her like he did two years ago when she sat down with him?

  13. Jolly Roger says:

Mama Grifter and Klannity have been bigoted buds forever. I’m sure they share mutual fantasies of the streets running red with the blood of….. I really don’t think it matters who, to those two.

  14. fran says:

The only thing I could approve about Palin is for her to STFU & go away.
I caught her yammering about how she refuses to shut up.

    Yea, Sarah, we noticed.

the more she yaps, the more people are turned off.
In that regard knock yourself out, Palin.

She is like fingernails on a chalkboard as she is now mixing her pro gun talk w god & biblical quotes.

Thou shalt no be an idiot.

Honestly, I don’t think even god would approve of her latest stunts.

  15. Joe in Colorado says:

Palin’s time in the spotlight is over. She’s had her 15 minutes and she’s overstayed her welcome on the American political scene. There are many men and women in politics who are smart and work hard for the people who elected them to office. Conversely, there are men and women who don’t have any business holding elected office. But, there aren’t many who meet the definition of evil. Palin is one them.

  16. Shayne K. says:

This bitch is full blown nut job. Any chances she might successfully become the GOP nominee in 2012 or 2016 is gone. What was John McCain thinking when his 2008 campaign plucked her from obscurity?

  17. Jolly Roger says:

McCoot wasn’t thinking. The blood had all left his brain and gone elsewhere.

  18. libhomo says:

Seabec: I was thinking along similar lines. What is wrong with the 38% of people who approve of that monster.

Jolly Roger: I remember doing a posting during the campaign about McCain sexually harassing Palin. I think you got it.

  19. DMason says:

    Palin is a fucking dope.

  20. Albert says:

Palin’s numbers will continue to fall as the months go forward. Her latest attempt at explaining her use of the term “blood libel” is utterly ridiculous. She has buried herself and also the tea party.

I see a shift in 2012 again. I already see people are regretting voting by way of tea party and republican. Republicans are focusing on bringing down Obama instead of focusing on what is really important – creating jobs.

RCP has Obama’s approval rating up 5.6% at an average of 49.8%
Even Fox News has Obama’s approval rating up 3% at 47%
Gallup has him up 9% at 51%
Associated Press has Obama up 7% at 53%

    Here’s a link to RCP: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

Everywhere you look his approval rating is up. Obama is a smart man and I’m certain this is a trend that will continue as long as the republicans keep working toward making him look bad they are actually making themselves look bad. I’m all for bi-partisanship – but really the republicans have not been working toward unity – they for some reason have it in their minds that the entire U.S. wants to go republican and capitalist – that is just not so.

2012 I think we will see a bit of an evening out of the parties. I think congress will be a lot closer to 50/50 as for the most part people really want to see our government working together for the good of all people – not just for republicans and not just for democrats – but for ALL.
