Just what earthquake ravaged Haiti doesn’t need.
The former dictator of Haiti, Jean-Claude “Baby Doc” Duvalier, returned to Haiti after 25 years living in exile. He was overthrown by a popular revolt.
Duvalier, now 59, arrived on a flight from France. It is not clear why he returned to Haiti, where he is accused of corruption totaling in the billions of dollars.
Haiti is in the midst of a political crisis over disputed presidential elections. The crisis comes just a year after a massive earthquake destroyed much of the capital, Port-au- Prince, and killed more than 200,000 people.
This is a developing story.
