Alan Simpson Calls Critics the “Greediest Generation”

Friday, November 26, 2010

Alan Simpson, President Obusha’s hand-selected Cat Food Commission member doesn’t suffer critics. In fact, Simpson, who called Social Security “300 million tits on a cow,” says his critics are members of the “greediest generation.”

Simpson told the hometown rag, the Casper Star-Tribune:

“I’ve never had any nastier mail or [been in a] more difficult position in my life. Just vicious. People I’ve known, relatives [saying], “‘You son of a bitch. How could you do this?”

But true to form, Simpson had some terse words for his detractors:

“We had the greatest generation. I think this is the greediest generation.”

It’s time for President Obusha to fire this cretin. Alan Simpson is a national disgrace.

Obama will never fire Simpson. Never.

For reasons known only to him and his therapist, Obama loves to surround himself with far right, white conservative men, who would be happy to tie a rope around his neck and hang him from the nearest oak tree.

  2. Retahyajyajav,

Dear Leader will have lots of Republicans to work with In January. Some young, a few old and all of them ready to make his life a living hell.

Obusha will be a happy man.

  3. feminazi says:

I find it so interesting that the Cat Food Commission hasn’t focused on cutting Pentagon budget or ending the law that allows for an annual Congressional COLA. President Obama and his team have engaged in shameless class warfare and I am deeply and profoundly offended. This president just keeps disappointing and I will not vote to reelect him in 2012, assuming I’m still alive. For the record, my daughters and their husbands won’t be voting to reelect Obama either and we’re all liberal Democrats.

  4. Marcus Ybanez says:

Members of the Cat Food Commission are purveyors of evil. They hate the elderly, the poor and the disabled and have basically implied their job would be far easier if they died.

Of course, Simpson and Co.’s recommendations are as dead as his heart.

Obama isn’t very smart. He’s managed to lose independents, white men, the AARP vote, the LGBT vote, Hispanics and many women. Let’s see him win reelection in 24 months. Trust me, it ain’t going to happen. Obama’s a one termer.

  5. Big Hank says:

Does anyone happen to know the amount of Mr. Simpson’s congressional retirement? It’s my understanding their retirement isn’t self-funded like Social Security but is funded by the American people.

Is Mr. Simpson — who is a millionaire, willing to forgo his retirement for the good of the debt and deficit?

  6. Big Hank,

I don’t know the amount of Simpson’s congressional retirement but I can tell you this.

According to a 2008 report in the New York Times, the 2009 Pentagon budget request was $515.4 billion. On top of this sum was an additional $600 billion approved in supplemental budgets to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

All told, war and Empire has reached $1,115,500,000,000.

If Obusha’s Cat Food Commission is serious about getting America’s finances in order, they must address our addiction to war. We can no longer be the world’s police force and maintain 900 military bases around the globe.

  7. Walk on Socks says:

    Alan Simpson is pond scum.

Obama really trolled the bottom of the GOP pond to find a piece of crap as despicable as Alan Simpson.

When the history of the Obama years are finally written, Barry will never be credited with having good judgment when it comes to personnel choices. In fact, his personnel choices rival those of George W. Bush for ineptitude.

  8. Dmitris says:

I have a theory why President Obama surrounds himself with Republicans. It stems from a deep seated feeling of inadequacy. He wasn’t accepted by the Hawaiians growing up, the black kids back in Kansas said he was trying to “pass,” and the white kids thought he was too dark. He never fit in so wooing Republicans like Alan Simpson makes him feel legit.

  9. Vivzzz says:

Did Alan Simpson sit on the same panel who determined meat and milk from cloned cattle and their offspring is safe to eat? He has so little demonstrated sense that I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. He’s a fool and Obama should have his head examined for this decision.

  10. Estacada says:

The choice of Alan Simpson is as awful as Rahm Emanuel.

Obama isn’t the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to finding the best and the brightest to work for him. As for Dmitris’ analysis, it makes sense (BTW, where have you been of late?), and certainly explains why Obama is so motivated by the need for approval.

It’s a shame that Obama has forgotten where from whence he came. He wasn’t always the “Leader of the Free World” with a net worth of $4 million dollars. Once, not too long ago, he and his sister were the children of a single mother who struggled to put food on the table.

His humanity has vanished into thin air.

  11. Tiny Dancer says:

    What an elitist son-of-a-bitch.

Well, at least there’s no doubt how the Obama administration feels about the most vulnerable Americans among us.

  12. picassokat says:

feminazi, could you please elaborate on your statement “President Obama and his team have engaged in shameless class warfare.”

  13. Joe in Colorado says:

I don’t speak for Feminazi but what I take from her statement is fairly clear. The so-called Debt Reduction Commission is looking at ways to make it more difficult for older and disabled Americans to access Social Security benefits. This will negatively impact the lives of people who need assistance from a system they have paid into for years. The wealthiest Americans, on the other hand, don’t need Social Security to buy food, and keep from becoming homeless. Why do you think Christopher and others call the commission the “Cat Food Commission?”

  14. Jim says:

Isn’t it funny that those who have the most and usually did nothing to earn it, are the first whine about the proles who supposedly keep them (the well-off) from accumulating even more wealth? Go fuck yourself Simpson!

  15. Jolly Roger says:

That’s pretty fucking funny, Simpson trying to project like that. We are all painfully aware of who the “Lamest Generation” of greedy racist hating bigots is.

  16. Jaette Carpenter says:

What is he talking about. He will soon be in a nursing home and will be at one of the proclaimed ‘Udders’ himself. Let’s see how well he fares as he has to ‘spend down’ or lose it all in a care center. His relies will want to help him go ‘bye bye’ early to save the family fortune. I guess when one is so far removed from life itself, one just doesn’t have a clue.

  17. feminazi says:

Thanks Joe in Colorado. You aren’t putting words in my mouth and you described what I meant by the term “class warfare” perfectly. I might just add to Picassokat, people paying into and ultimately collecting Social Security aren’t the cause of the deficit. It was started by cutting taxes on the rich while simultaneously going to war. The cost of Afghanistan and Iraq was paid for on credit. Obama knows this and he should be ashamed of himself for targeting seniors for attack now.

  18. passionrose says:

I puzzle on their longevity. Cats have only nine lives, yes?
Well, in any case, their arrogance has caused them to expose themselves. And now, we wait with patience. Like a game of chess we perceive the futility of there moves, and then, checkmate.
Alan, America is awake. The sleeping giant is awake again. Remember when she awoke before?
We are united. You may pack your bags now. This illegal president barry and his life sucking bride may pack as well. We will see how well you all fare without Our dime.
It does my heart good to read all your comments. A 21 gun salute to you all.

  19. Fletch says:

I came to this site looking for information but all I get is inside jokes and cryptic sarcasm. What the hell is the “Cat Food Commission,” for one. If you people want to be masterful name-callers, you might as well go join Rush Limbaugh, cause he is the master of that. Now tell me… Why do you want to join him on the moral low ground??

  20. Terry Tubb says:

What a pig feeding at the trough, Alan Simpson fits right in Machelle Malkin’s book CULTURE OF CORRUPTION. 25 + years ago Jack Anderson published that the typical average Congressman, counting ALL the many freebies and perks, made about $ 1.75-2.5, and now with their separte health plans made for kings/queens and separate lifetime pension plans, all different and monumental compared to ” their surf,”‘ Marlon Brando’s quote quickly comes to mind; ” You scum sucking pig!” TT

  21. Gatekeeper says:

George bush was spending $592 million per day out of Social Security for 8 years in office. In 2001 Bush said he would never privatize social security but in 2003 he change his mind and said we have too privatize it to save it.

Bush used that money in the Trust Fund of Social Security to fund the Iraq War and not one member of Congress said a dam thing to stop Bush from accessing the funds that belong to the people retirement.

From 1985 to 2010 Republicans were spending out of the Trust Fund of Social Security to fund there Special Interest Projects here and abroad plus they all signed a I, Politician name. Promise to Re-pay back into the Trust fund! Including George Bush who in 8 years in office took $1.37 Trillion from the social security we all paid into and never paid back his IOU.

When Bush left office he left Obama with $10.6 Trillion dollar Deficit and Not One Dam American complained.

George Bush back in 2006 he signed the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, sponsored by Rep. Thomas Davis R-VA (1995-2008) it was to require the PO to Pre-Pay healthcare to current postal employees and the future postal employees all the way to 2057 who are not yet born.

So they are the red because of the Republican sabotage of the U.S. Postal Service.
