  1. TOM339 says:

Hillary Clinton is more qualified to be president at this point than was her husband, when he ran in 1992.

She was a two-term US senator, and Secretary of State and, she’s an accomplished attorney, having worked on issues of importance to women and children.

Plus, she’s smart. If she runs, I think she could very well be elected.

  2. Brigadoon says:

I agree, Tom339. Reagan was 69 when he was elected president. Hillary will be 69 in 2016. This isn’t really old in the 21st century. I think it’s hers if she wants it. I just hope her supporters don’t undermine her bid like they did in 2008. The Hillbots are loony.

  3. Rinaldo says:

Hillary is a very likely candidate for 2016. But I think she has a skeleton in her closet that could de-rail her. NO, not anything that happened in the 90’s or before. Her problem will be what she has done recently … secretary of state under Obama. This is going to hurt her. She should not have taken the job.

  4. Nigel Karsten says:

The Clintons are the face of the American Democratic party and extremely popular across “the pond.”

I see no reason why Mrs. Clinton shouldn’t run in ’16 if she wants to commit herself to a year of campaigning and if elected, 4 to 8 years in the White House.

  5. R.J. says:

Hillary can feel free to move up that timeline by four years if she likes. She’s paid her dues. Let her run for it.

  6. feminazi says:

I hope her supporters will show greater self-control in 2012 and 2016. They were, in view, one of the reasons she lost the primary. These women scared off many people and in politics, a general election is all about uniting desperate groups — not driving them apart.

  7. How about if we have someone who isn’t a political whore run for a change? You know, someone with some values other than taint-licking the powerful? Hill is, at best, a slightly better version of her husband. Honestly, who the hell wants that?
