Sarah Palin brought the crazy to Searchlight, NV yesterday. Searchlight, a tiny mining town is the birthplace of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Reid played a key role in helping President Obama pass his landmark healthcare reform bill.
The former Alaska governor (she quit in order to accept a multi-million dollar job as an analyst for FOX Noise) delivered a rousing, often disjointed speech to an estimated crowd of 7,000, mostly female supporters.
Palin screeched, yelped and brayed for approximately 4 minutes. Predictably, the crowd cheered her every word.
But Palin remains a highly polarizing figure. Overall, 55% of Americans say they view her unfavorably. 85% of Democrats have a negative view or her, while on the flip side, 71% of conservative Republicans sing her praises.
