Pope Benedict Running a Male Prostitution Ring Out of the Vatican?

Friday, March 5, 2010

Freaks. No other words aptly describes the depravity that defines the Roman Catholic Church today. Freaks.

From the Washington Post:

One of Pope Benedict’s ceremonial ushers and a member of an elite choir in St Peter’s Basilica have been implicated in a gay prostitution ring, in the latest sexual scandal to taint the Vatican.

Ghinedu Ehiem, a Nigerian, was dismissed by the Vatican on Wednesday from the Giulia Choir after his name appeared in transcripts of police wiretaps, published by an Italian newspaper, in an unrelated Italian investigation.

The wiretaps were carried out in connection with a probe into corruption in contracts to build public works, including the planned venue in Sardinia of last year’s G8 summit. The summit was eventually moved to the Abruzzo region as part of efforts to help it recover from an earthquake.

Among four people arrested last month in the corruption probe was Angelo Balducci, a engineer who is a board member of Italy’s public works department and a construction consultant to the Vatican. Balducci was arrested on corruption charges and the allegations of prostitution emerged only later.

Balducci is also a member of an elite group called “Gentlemen of His Holiness,” ushers who are called to serve in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace on major occasions such as when the pope receives heads of state or presides at big events.

“Gentlemen of His Holiness” carried the coffin of the late Pope John Paul at his funeral in 2005.

  1. Arizona Leatherneck says:

The Catholic church bankrupted the Maine Archdiocese funding the effort to reverse gay marriage in that state.

So curious that the Catholic hierarchy is so vehemently antigay but inside the Vatican, it’s like a gay bath house?

    How do you spell hypocrisy?

  2. Mets Fan says:

The global Catholic priest sex scandal has been underway for at least 40 years and destroyed the lives of thousands of young people — mostly boys, and cost the church billions of dollars in settlement claims.

Yet to millions, the pathway to eternal life if Sunday Mass and adherence to this oddity called the Pope.

  3. Dmitris says:

Pull their tax exemption. It’s the only way to close this terrible chapter in human history. Until all organized religion pays income tax, this sort of horror will continue unabated.

  4. Rhea de Janeiro says:

Mama don’t let your babies grow up to be Catholics
Don’t let ’em fuck Priests and Bishops and old Popes
Make ’em be doctors and lawyers and such
Mama don’t let your babies grow up to be Catholics
They’ll never be sane and they’re always fucked up
    Even on Christmas day

  5. libhomo says:

I am so sick of clerical hypocrisy. I have no problem with prostitution, but a church that condemns it and condemns gay sex under all circumstances deserves to catch heck for not practicing what they preach.

    BTW: Love the Ratzi graphic.

  6. Maybe the man with the funny hat is merely a fan of Chippendales’ business model and wanted to increase Vatican coffers.

  7. DMason says:

Nothing surprises me about the Pope, priests and pedophilia. The culture is very disturbed and men who run the church could keep every shrink in the world employed for the next 1,000 years.

  8. Conejo1982 says:

There’s a global recession on and donations dropped in the plate Sunday mornings are down. When you have hundreds of millions going out to settle sex abuse claims, what better way to bring in revenue than a prostitution ring run out of the Vatican? Since they don’t pay taxes, it’s pure profit.

  9. Bill Hussein O'Reilly says:

Rhea de Janeiro — Now that is funny! 🙂

  10. Godless says:

What I’m wondering is how long did the Vatican know this was going on? It seems they had prior knowledge about a lot of other instances yet tried to keep it quiet and failed.

  11. Adirondacky says:

What will it take for the remaining Catholics of the world to say enough and clean house, top, down? I am nauseated by this story.

  12. feminazi says:

The only way I would let my nephew anywhere near a Catholic priest is if I hired four armed guards to form a ring around him with orders to shoot if priest tried to touch him. It’s a sad day for the Roman Catholic Church when pedophilia is the thing they’re most know around the world for.

  13. witness2thetruth says:

Pope worship is a sin of all sins! I am not the least bit surprised about the sex scandals and the devil worship for this Church of Rome is exactly what it is and a “doctrine of devils and Satan” that the Bible speaks about. God continues to expose this church of man and ceasar worship.
“come out of her my children and choose not to partake of her sins for her sins have reached the heights of heaven”.

Roman Catholics have butchered and murdering the true saints through out history “dont partake of drinking the wine of her fornication.”

Rome killed the apostles we learn that from the Bible and the Roman government dissapeared from sight and turned into a religion. Simply put Rome never left. God continues to expose this church of Satan and sexual immorality and death for it has a history of it. Let us not forget history this church is a monster and sin surrounds it will be destroyed by the hand of God. “the truth will be proclaimed from the rooftops” and the mighty God is still here and always has and is coming.

  14. Yaima says:

Roman Catholic Church = Pedophilia, Inc.
    Nuff said.

  15. Caper632 says:

Well yet another scandal…….the hierarchy !! Growing up most of us were taught right from wrong. This organization is wrong, wrong, wrong. This establisment should be dismantled. There are many sheepeoples out there that are not getting it!! This is wrong!! Protect our young people from these pedophiles!! Money laundering, prostitution, pedophilia..amazing that after all these years it still goes on, and it is covered up!! The Priests say do do as I say, not what I do, I can get away with it, you can’t!!

  16. james adams says:

The billions spent in paying damages and in paying hush money only cost “The Church of Satan” and that is a good thing.
Parents stop putting your children on Satan’s alter for sacrifice to his servants!
Yes sexual perversions happen in all denominations but in true Christian churches the members want it prosecuted and stopped. Catholics would rather sacrifice children than expose the evil that motivates their leaders as a whole rather than rouge ministers.
If I were a queer pediphile I would set my career goal to be a Catholic priest. Where else can a pervert get paid and also respected for being a gay pedo? I am sure they feel they have found “heaven on earth”. Wake up and learn the scriptures and you will see that you have been made a fool of all your Catholic life!

  17. james adams says:

The guy learned from the Popes and priests he stayed on his knees to as a young boy!

  18. William Callaghan says:

the people commenting on here with their vicious and snide remarks ignore all the good that the Church has done and continues to do, Im disturbed by these people getting a sick thrill out of this scandal, says a lot about them as well

  19. William Callaghan,

Yes, the poor, blessed Catholic Church.

Nevermind the tens-thousands of minor age boys and girls world-wide, raped by aging, sick and diseased priests who inserted their fingers, tongues and penises into their orifices, forever scaring their psyches, rendering them incapable of forming healthy and meaningful adult relationships.

Many victims of pedophile priests wind up so broken that they become drug addicts and commit suicide.

You and your Catholic Church can go fuck off.

  20. Charles R. Donaldson says:

When? When Catholics refuse to accept papal appointments for their bishops. When Catholics end the baronial bishops power called corporation sole. Actually the installation and consecration rites contain a the acclamation which is done as a ceremony. Still the theology says the people have accept the candidate. This is all that is left of electing bishops. Unfortunately, when is the last time anybody objected to the appointment of a bishop? About time someone did.
