Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) Explains Scott Brown’s Victory

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Let it never be said that Republicans aren’t prone to bouts of revisionist history.

According to a memo from Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), head of the Senate Republican campaign effort, yesterday’s stunning upset election of Scott Brown to fill the seat of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, was the result that “voters realize that there is only one party who bailed out the automakers and insurance companies.”

Really John? Do you really think Americans are as stupid as you?

The fact is, it was actually fellow Texan, former President Bush who orchestrated the bailouts of both AIG and the automakers at the 11th hour of his second term. Nice try, though.

They outright lie and no one (except bloggers of course!) calls them on it! They make me sick.

  2. DMason says:

John Cornyn needs to stick to things he knows. Like lamenting the passing of slavery. He’s never recovered from the fact that he must share the Congressional mess hall with African Americans. No wonder having Obama in the White House is such a thorn in his side.

  3. stradella says:

Cornyn is a pink skinned Hee Haw.

  4. JollyRoger says:

Rushpubliscum voters (and apparently a good number of independents) are absolutely this stupid.

The Rushpubliscums have been pushing this meme for awhile now, and their ever-eager MSM handmaidens let them do it unchallenged. Before much longer, September 11, 2001 will have been moved back a year.

Stradella — Hahahahaha! Love it. 🙂

  6. Pechanga says:

    One words: S.E.C.E.D.E.

  7. Randy Arroyo says:

Cornyn is a horse’s ass. Apologies to horses.

  8. Mets Fan says:

John Cornyn is just making shit up.

He’s definitely someone I would enjoy knocking up along side his head. He’s a total D-bag.
