“You should be horse-whipped for the insult you have paid to the highest office of our nation. Having followed President Obama’s suggestion and donated money to the Red Cross for relief in Haiti, I was offended to hear you suggest the President might be a thief capable of stealing money intended for the earthquake victims.” – Roger Ebert, film critic, in the Chicago Sun Times
Good for Ebert. Limbaugh is pure slime.
I am one of the people who hoped Limbaugh had had a heart attack in Hawaii and would die. I usually don’t wish bad on anyone but Limbaugh isn’t human and his radio rants targeting everyone from the disabled, to people living with AIDS, and now the victims of the Haitian earthquake, render him ill-suited to exist with the rest of society. The day he dies is the day the world is a better place.
I would cherish the opportunity to horse whip Rush Limbaugh! There aren’t many people I can honestly say I hate but he’s one of them.
horse whipping is too good for that pos I would like to hit him up with a cat o’ nine tails, and top it off with a total body wax after his flogging.
I wouldn’t piss on the mf’er if his head caught on fire. One day I will dance on his grave and laugh at his stupidity and give thanks that he has left this earth.
I find Ebert’s movie reviews first rate. He has a way of wording things that is very descriptive. His talents were not lost in his verbal onslaught of the Limburgher. I would take great joy in seeing the fat man horse whipped.
This may be the wrong place to ask this question — preaching to the choir and all that — but at what point do at least some of Limbaugh’s audience leave him over BS like this? Surely there are some conservatives who see that his, um, “rhetoric” is crossing a line — even for those who place their lines far outside the realm of the reasonable. Unfortunately, most of them are willing to give him a pass as long as he’s on their side and challenging Obama and the Dems.
Boil his fat ass in boil.
I would pay $1,000 to watch him fry like a tater. I can’t stand him. There’s no excuse for him to occupy the same space as the rest of us.
@ Joe In Colorado: “The day he dies is the day the world is a better place.” For equally appalling comments, don’t forget to add Pat Robertson to this hades list! If there is a hell, these are obviously two demons who have escaped, and the sooner they return, the better for our increasingly uncivil society. They’ve both played major roles in hardening the hearts of some of the more suggestible & easily swayed people in our country. At the very least they, and those like them, should be shunned and called out by what remains of “polite society”.
There’s a physiological condition whereby people see stimuli like a baby crying or a war image and instead of feeling sad or upset, they see humor and glee.
I wonder if Rush is afflicted with this problem?
We can only hope his base would be so offended they would abandon him …. I hope they do not share his mindset although my feeling is that they do.
ebert is great guy who has suffered a lot over the years – i thank him for those words and i wish him well
sadly rush hasnt suffered enough – as much as i wish that heart attack was real – i also hope he lives a long and torturous life – he is the scummiest piece of shit in AMerica today – and that is saying a lot
i wonder if Rush is pissed he cant get down to the Dominican Rep so easy right now to get his drugs and boys
