Dog Killer Michael Vick Reinstated by Braindead NFL

Sick, depraved dog killer, Michael Vick, was reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today. Goodell’s braindead decision allows Vick to participate in preseason practices, workouts and meetings. He can also play in final two preseason games if he can find a team dumb enough to sign him. A number of teams — including the New York Giants and New York Jets, have already said they have absolutely no interest in signing the disgraced, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

Goodell suspended Vick indefinitely in August 2007 after Vick admitted bankrolling the “Bad Newz Kennels” dogfighting operation located on his sprawling Virginia estate. He plead guilty after three co-defendants testified to gruesome details of how Vick participated in the killing of dogs that didn’t perform well in test fights by shooting, hanging, drowning or slamming them to the ground.

Vick was convicted of Federal animal cruelty charges and was sentenced to a 23-month sentence. The first 18 months her served at a Leavenworth, KS prison. However, the remaining five months amounted to house arrest at his posh, 15-acre property Virginia estate.

  1. WHAT THE HELL COULD GOODELL BE THINKING? THIS MAN IS CAPABLE OF VICIOUS ATROCITIES, THAT SNUFFED OUT THE INNOCENT LIVES OF POOR ANIMALS. SHAME ON THE TEAM THAT HIRES THIS DEMON, AS THEY SHOULD AND WILL BE PICKETTED AND BOYCOTTED BY EVERY ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUP FROM EVERY PART OF THE COUNTRY. I SPIT ON THIS DECISION.

  2. DMason says:

I predicted the NFL would do this. What an insult to all the young, talented, hardworking college players longing for a spot as a quarterback on an NFL team but, who gets passed over because shit like Vick is no doubt going to take their place.

  3. lea-lea says:

What the hell is the NFL thinking?

I agree David. Colleges across this country have so many talented young players who will never get a chance to play for an NFL team but Michael Vick gets another chance.

Mark my words. Vick will do this again to dogs. He doesn’t see killing dogs as criminal behavior.

  4. Walk on Socks says:

I remember reading when the trial was underway that Vick’s brother or cousin would go to local dog shelters and pretend to be interested in a dog to adopt.

In reality, he was looking for pit bull meat to use for betting. Sometimes as much as $40,000 a pop to watch an innocent dog get shredded to death.

Vick is a monster and as far as I’m concerned, he should’ve served 30 years for his crimes.

  5. Nan Yun says:

Any team dumb enough to hire this monster should expect protesters and boycotts. In America, we have a special relationship with our dogs. For many, dogs are our children.

    Vick violated that relationship.

  6. bradfrmphnx says:

The polls I saw were split 50-50 on public favorability for Vick to be allowed into the NFL. How quickly they forget the torture some of those dogs endured. I wonder if it was fun to Michael Vick, watching those dogs writhe on the end of a noose until they died. I wonder if he enjoyed watching dogs that didn’t stand a chance getting chewed to death. Ha-ha-ha-ha! I’ll bet they all had a good laugh. What utter dispicability!

Count me among the 50% who didn’t favor his reinstatement. Count me among those who will never attend a game, nor watch one on TV that has the team that he plays for in it, or on it. The term POS was custom made for Michael Vick.

  7. Aunt Peg says:

People who engage in animal cruelty are sociopaths and often go on to become serial killers.

Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Andrea Chikatilo all tortured and killed dogs and cats before moving onto killing people.

  8. retahyajyajav says:

I take comfort in knowing Michael Vick had to file for bankruptcy and lost his ass.

He will never be the Grand NFL Pooh-Bah again, even if he finds some team willing to take a chance on him. I read his agent is trying to get him booked on the talkshow circuit now. Oprah won’t have him. Neither will Ellen.

  9. Joaquin says:

Just what the NFL needs: more controversy.

I will be very surprised if a team signs Vick. After what he did, Vick is radioactive.

  10. Marcus Ybanez says:

No question. Vick fucked up but be paid his time in a Federal prison, lost his Falcons contract and filed for bankruptcy. You don’t think he’s earned another chance to get it right?

  11. Conejo1982 says:

    Marcus,

I will try to remain calm here and answer your query as best I can.

Vick served 23 months which works out to be roughly 690 days. He and his posse killed (according to media reports during the trial) 130 dogs. So, this means he served approximately 5 1/2 days in prison for each dog he murdered.

Do I think he deserves another chance? Ah, no I do not. In fact, I’m very sorry he didn’t serve more like 20 years.

  12. Not surprising, but I don’t think it will make much difference. No team in their right mind will take this liability.

  13. MacDaddy says:

Yes, Vick has been reinstated. Two things:

Though Vick has been reinstated, it is conditioned on his good behavior in the next 6 months. Also, Goodell said he will reevaluate at that time. So, technically, Goodell can choose not to let Vick play after 6 months, whether Vick is on good behavior or not.

Second, Vick will not be allowed to play for the first 6 games. In doing this, Goodell is trying to keep Vick from being the main story of the coming NFL season. But by reinstating Vick under condition of reevaluation after 6 months, and by denying the ability to play for 6 games, this really turns out to be not a reinstatement so much as a suspension. So after doing 23 months for bankrolling a dog fighting operation, Vick is now being told that he is suspended for 6 months from playing football in the NFL.

Vick has not only served time; he has lost every cent he has. I love dogs as much as anyone. But I believe that people, even felons, deserve a second chance, including the right to get a job and become a productive citizen.

    I’m pulling for him.
For those who think 23 months is not a long time, try serving just one month in prison. And Leavenworth is no nice

  14. Mauigirl says:

I hate Vick for what he has done. I have no idea if he has repented or even understands why what he did is so reprehensible. If I truly knew that he was sorry and that he really had repented, I might be willing to give him another chance. But because I don’t know that I can’t even bear the thought of him going right back to being a star again. I don’t think he has paid enough for his crimes. Dogs are innocent and he betrayed them. I hate him for that and can’t forgive him. I hope that no team will sign him.

  15. feminazi says:

Christopher – You must’ve posted this late in the day because I didn’t see it. In any event, my view of this NFL cretin is simple: he isn’t human and he does not deserve another chance to play professionally. I would also ask the people willing to forgive him, is there anything an NFL player does that is beyond the realm of forgiveness? What if he raped a child or murdered his wife? Is time served good enough for you to look at him anew?

  16. Big Hank says:

Vick isn’t a good role model for the kids.

He ran an illegal dog betting operation out of his home for his thug buddies that was predicated on the cruel and painful deaths of hundreds of dogs.

I don’t understand how anyone with a moral compass can look the other way and say he served less the 2 years (really 18 months) and so he deserves another chance.

Personally, if he gets hired, I won’t watch his team and my kids — huge dog lovers all, won’t either.

  17. Estacada says:

This dog killer does not, I repeat, does not, deserve to make millions for throwing a football.

Michael Vick had his chance and he blew it.

  18. Walk on Socks says:

Michael Vick will violate his parole.

Just wait and see. A monster like this doesn’t “get better” after serving a few months in prison for killing innocent dogs.

I plan to boycott the NFL if any team hires him.

  19. Ol' Whip says:

You guys are dumber then a sack of hammers. He did the time he was sentenced to and yet you feel it’s your self appointed moral duty to further his punnishment. By denying him a way to make a living, (let’s face it, the average NFL player doesn’t have a heck of a lot of skills outside of football to fall back on), You may very well turn him into the biggist criminal since Capone. Imagine the size of the dog fighting ring he could have then!
The jury looked at the evidence, found him guilty and the judge applied an appropiate sentence within the guidelines of that state. If you don’t feel that it was right, write the legislators of that state.

If a criminal has no shot at redemption what reason would he have to change his ways?

  20. taco says:

If a criminal has no shot at redemption what reason would he have to change his ways?

    Ol’ Whip,

Then hire Vick to fuck your wife? You sound like you’re a cuckold and would enjoy watching.

  21. bradfrmphnx says:

Ol’ Whip…playing in the NFL is a privelage not a right. He lost that right when he tortured and killed dogs. He is a convicted felon. The NFL should not allow convicted felons to play in its league. Hell no he doesn’t deserve a second chance! What kind of role model is that? Is that what we should teach our children?

The simple fact that you think people are “dumber than a sack of hammers” for hating a man who tortured animals to death, places you at the bottom of the cess pool. Grovel in it dipshit.

  22. Ol' Whip says:

Aside from being high profile, playing in the NFL is like any other job. Micheal Vick has a right like every other convicted felon to seek legal employment with any employer who will hire him. By condeming Vick to a life of obscurity you take both him and his crime out of the public eye and therefore he serves no lesson to our children. By blindly crucifying him, you prevent him from being the public example of a repentant and reformed individual. If you have your way, no good will come of this entire case.

Taco, Get your mind out of the gutter.

  23. Thomas says:

This is fucking rediculous. There are plenty of situations going on in the world, right here in our own country that are alot more important than the “Vick” situation. How many murderers are there that are walking on the street today, that are working everyday, but you idiots arent protesting against them. Not that I feel that killing dogs or any other animals is right, but when there are people who are associated with PETA that have been convicted of murders, it is a huge contradiction to even have a negative opinion about the returning of Michael Vick. Think about that shit…idiots

  24. Raffi says:

Thomas – Nice try but that dog don’t bark. Least I remind you that your hero, Michael Vick, was convicted in a Federal court and served time at Leavenworth, KS Prison. This wasn’t some conspiracy brought about by PETA, in fact, PETA isn’t the issue here. The issue is animal cruelty and the killing of more than 100 dogs for sport and profit. Deal with this shit, idiot.

  25. Rhonda D says:

MV is nothing but a sick twisted loser. I don’t care if he did his time. It was not enough. And as far as him being allowed to return to the NFL and make millions of more dollars: that is some bullshit. Convicted felons should not be allowed to serve in the NFL: whether they hurt an innocent person, or hurt an innocent animal he is still a convicted felon. I do not want my son looking up to MV as a hero.
I am a dedicated football fan and am out there for every game my team has but I will be protesting 100% if MV shows up in my home town and at every game he plays. No more NFL products at my home, I also am included in that 50% that is done with anything in an NFL that supports MV.
I am also a pit bull lover, have 2 of my own and work as a foster for these poor misunderstood dogs so that they can go on to live a better life in a forever home. I have placed at least 50 of these dogs on my own and each and every one of them was a loving animal who just needed a chance. Who just needed to get over the cruelty done to it.
And hey MV: if you want to make a living: do something that makes your karma better like working with the Humane Society against dog fighting and cruelty.
There is a special spot in hell for people like MV: he doesn’t feel bad, he does not repent and he has NEVER said I am sorry for what I did to those dogs.
I don’t feel ONE BIT sorry for him.

  26. Ol' Whip says:

“We haven’t been active in promoting his resuming his career, but we’re not averse, We’re focused on the goal of eradicating dogfighting, not endlessly flogging Michael Vick. We would rather have him be part of the solution than part of the problem.

“We’re going to give him a platform to reach young kids … and steer them away from this vile activity of dogfighting.”

Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the Humane Society.

  27. Ol' Whip says:

Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the Humane Society
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Smart fellow. Doesn’t let his emotions cloud his judgement.

  28. Rhonda D says:

    Ol’ Whip
Exactly: like I said: “if you want to make a living: do something that makes your karma better like working with the Humane Society against dog fighting and cruelty.”
SO YES: PLEASE DO work with the Humane Society instead of playing for the NFL…

It doesn’t take emotions: the cold hard facts are in the grand jury’s indictment:
“In or about April of 2007, Peace, Phillips and Vick executed approximately eight dogs that did not perform well in ‘testing’ sessions at 1915 Moonlight Road by various methods, including hanging, drowning and slamming at least one dog’s body to the ground.”

It is disgusting and the list goes on and on about the things he did. So sorry if I get a little emotional. At least I have emotions: Unlike MV.

  29. Woodcliffe says:

I like smart people. They’re a pleasure to be around.

I’m sure I would enjoy spending time with U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg, who was smart enough to obtain convictions for Michael Vick’s despicable dogfighting operation back in August 2007.

Rosenberg was smart enough to win a victory not only for the dogs who suffered at Vick’s hands, but also for the untold thousands of other canine victims of this bloody “sport” across the U.S.

Smart fellow, that U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg.

  30. Cat says:

Folks let’s get some perspective ok because Michael Vick is not a serial killer. And whether you agree with the punishment or not he has been released. What should he do now? What should society have done for this MONSTER as some of you posters stated? Should he have been incarcerated for life or burned at the stake? Well sorry folks he was fined and sent to jail and his time has been served. He returned to football big surprise he is a football player after all. How about take some of this outrage and put it with all the soldiers brought home daily that everyone seems to have lost interest in or the million other truly monstrous acts going on daily.

  31. Rhonda D says:

Macdaddy: “Vick has not only served time; he has lost every cent he has. I love dogs as much as anyone. I completely agree with you: I also believe that people, even felons, deserve a second chance, including the right to get a job and become a productive citizen. I say this in complete honesty as I AM a convicted felon. I served time in state & federal prison and believe me: federal prison is day camp compared to State. I suffered after being in prison: no one wanted to hire me or trust me. BUT since my release 12 years ago, I have had to fight to earn back trust from my community and work hard to move ahead. It took years but I did it. Nobody handed me a damn thing. Nobody felt sorry for me: I had to earn everything back.
MV needs to earn back our trust by showing remorse, by showing he is an improved person and by proving that he can make a right out of this horrible wrong.

  32. Ol' Whip says:

And then the smart jury convicted him and then the smart judge sentenced him and then Mr. Vick was a smart young man who didn’t cause any trouble while a guest of Leavenworth and served his time and now he is ready to try and put his life back together.

By continuing to persicute this man after he has PAID HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY, you only make a martyr out of him and further alienate the rest of society from your views.

I stand by my first assessment of such folks. Dumber then a sack of hammers!

  33. lea-lea says:

Ol Whip has his nose so far up Michael Vick’s rectum I’m surprised he can breath!

32 comments on this thread and five are from Ol Whip.

OK, Ol Whip. We get it. You jerk off at night while gazing at a poster of Vick in his Falcon uniform. Why not put your adoration for him into starting a Michael Vick fan club? Then you can spend your day writing poetry about him with little hearts and “X’s” and “O’s.” Jeesh.

  34. Ol' Whip says:

So basically lea-lea, you have no actual thought that relates to this debate?

  35. Jenna Bush Stole My ID says:

    That figures.

It takes a post about dog killer Michael Vick to bring out the trolls from under their rocks.

  36. ZIGGY1082 says:

I saw a report on TV about how the remorseful Michael Vick spent the remaining five months of his twenty-three month incarceration.

He was at home, wearing an ankle cuff, surrounded by pals and bimbos and the whole crew were out back partying around the pool, tossing back beer and smoking reefer.

Vick looked crestfallen, I tell you. Absolutely besotted with grief.

  37. George says:

Dog killer Michael Vick should never be allowed to return to th NFL. I don’t care that he did his time in jail, he does not deserve that kind of a second chance. If a team hires him, I will make a point to not watch any game that team is in. I hope that people around the country protest at every game he is in.

  38. Randy Arroyo says:

I was listening to a drive time radio show about the possibility of Vick playing for the Chargers. I swear to God, 98% of the people who called in — most were men, said some variation of “no way, no how, don’t sign him.” Maybe it’s a westcoast v. eastcoast thing but I don’t think Vick would be well received out here.

  39. Thomas says:

Cat I completely agree with you. Seems as though you were smart enough to grasp and understand where i was coming from.

Raffi…you’re a Bitch. Peta is completely the problem at this point dumb ass. He has served his time, and surprise surprise, the fucking football player is going to play football. What would it serve to keep him off the field?

  40. bradfrmphnx says:

Some really stupid shit being said by those who have no empathy for abused and tortured animals. And don’t get me wrong, I think PETA is stupid. But to hang a dog, or grab it by its hind legs and beat it on the ground over, and over and over again, until its dead…where is the goddam empathy? What does that say about us as a society if we place this kind of person back on a pinnacle, back on the top for our sporting pleasure? I’m all for giving people second chances. MV is getting one by being released from prison. He may now go and get a 9 to 5 job just like the rest of us.

I know one thing…when asked if they were interested, the AZ Cardinals said flatly…NO! No way! And by god, that made me happy!

Now…play some taps for poor old abused and misunderstood Michael Fucking Vick.

  41. erikball123 says:

Anyone who defends a convicted criminal and his torture of animals is as thoughtless as the commissioner who reinstated him. I sickens me that he’ll play again.

    MAN’S WORST FRIEND

  42. feminazi says:

Dogs are helpless and depend on humans for their well being, food, love and care. They’re much like children and have a special relationship with people going back more than 40,000 years. I guess the new troll here just enjoys acting the fool for attention. But as far as Vick playing again, I say not if it means a million dollar contract.

  43. wutno says:

“What does that say about us as a society if we place this kind of person back on a pinnacle, back on the top for our sporting pleasure?”

Actually it kind of says a lot more about you that you think atheletes belong on a pedastal because they can chuck a ball a long way.

And while we’re at it, let’s just go ahead and clear the various Halls of Fame of all the alcoholics, misogynists, gamblers, violence-prone individuals, and sundry other character flaws. What’s that? There’s nobody left in the Halls of Fame?

What the Vick saga shows is that atheletes aren’t deserving of their status in society in the first place, but no one wants to admit that as long as we have this one guy we can villify forever and ever.

  44. Nick says:

I read a similar topic on another blog, but yours was much clearer. Thanks

  45. Patrick says:

Although I was born and raised in California, I have been living in Europe for the past 27 years (the past 14 in Ireland) with a stint back home at university in the mid-90s for my masters. I did not know about this case but happened upon this thread. My take is that the man does deserve a second chance but not as a high-paid entertainer (read athlete). What he did is despicable, and my gut feeling is that he would say (and do?) anything to get back to a high-paying job. I am very disappointed with the NFL for allowing him back in the game. Remorse? I only have the photo on this thread (where he is flipping off the cameras) to make a judgment call, but I do not think this man feels one ounce of remorse. I could be wrong, but…

  46. Dogs sure are one of the most amazing gods creation lol

  47. Falcons 7 says:

First off… Vick was sentenced to that amount of prison for federal illegal gambling charges not the killing of dogs. That happens to be a misdemeanor charge. People need to get their morals and ethics inline quick. They need to think about what some of the other athletes have done in the NFL and they are welcomed with open arms. For example let’s take a look at Pac Man…. Next Stallworth he killed a man while under the influence and is already released without any protest. Put yourself in that families shoes your father or brother was killed by a drunk NFL athlete and received a slap on the wrist. People this day and time need to get their moral compass in tune, is the life of a dog more valuable than a human? Vick was raised in that area of Va and to those people that is normal. Yes it is sick and twisted, but Mike fell back into his roots. He made a mistake learned from it and went from the highest paid NFL player to as low as it can get. People need to lay off and let him move on with his life. Everyone screws up and deserves a second chance…

  48. Michael Vick only recently owned up to executing pit bulls, but it was too late for his sentencing judge, who threw the book at the fallen NFL star.

US District Court Judge Henry E. Hudson sentenced the suspended Falcons quarterback to 23 months in prison for his role in a dogfighting operation – a term at least five months longer than what Vick would have received had he been truthful.

Hudson found that Vick had lied to federal authorities. After pleading guilty in August, Vick continued to contend that others killed pit bulls that did not test well as fighting dogs. But in October, after being grilled by an FBI agent for five hours, Vick finally spilled the truth that he “hung” a dog.

During that interview an FBI polygrapher found Vick was being deceptive in denying he killed dogs.

In a plea agreement, Vick admitted bankrolling the dogfighting ring on his 15-acre property in rural Virginia. He admitted providing money for bets on the fights but said he never shared in any winnings.

  49. follett1 says:

I would like to start by saying i am a dog lover. i own 2 pitbulls currently and have helped with countless adoptions. As a current professor I also appreciate when i read posts on blogs like this that are actually intelligently thought out prior to posting. simple bashing of another commenter or of MV is so easy and brainless, and just makes you look bad. Falcons7 seems to have brought up one of the more intelligent points.. what MV did was WRONG, but other sport figures in the past have done horrendous things including Stallworth recently killing a human being when under the influence. where were the protests then? where is the outrage? where are the threats to boycott the NFL for reinstating Stallworth? Dogs are innocent, and deserve to be treated kindly, but is a humans life worth so little to the general public now that we will crucify one person for being involved with killing animals and disregard another who commits vehicular manslaughter? If someone would respond to this intelligently i would appreciate it. other who insist on just writing comments which resemble those on a witch hunt looking for a new victim to put on the stake.. please ignore.

  50. Ken25 says:

I also love dogs, but i am also a believer in justice and i think that the facts of this case have been distorted by those who dont know much about it, all they know is that Vick was involved, and many seem to enjoy slandering him because he is so high profile, and paint grusome images for us to associate with Vick; like him personally strangling and hanging dogs.

It seems to me an equally likely scenerio would be the DA offering those other 3 individuals plea bargins for naming Vick as central to the operation for reduced sentences. If he has all 3 naming him what chance would he have, even if his involvment was much less than we think? The fact is its not clear the extent of his involvment, and please do not quote mass media sources. Their job is to get ratings, sell papers and make standout headlines. Dont fool yourself into thinking they are as credible as they may seem. I dont think he is completely innocent, but i dont think any of us are close enough to the situation to deem his true level of involvement. just a small quote for those who have posted on here that Vick has shown no signs of remorse

“Vick spoke in low tones and apologized to everyone his handlers could think of. As has been the custom for too many of those caught and convicted for any number of crimes, the words “role model,” “young kids,” “deepest apologies,” and a reference to divine intervention were used.” CNN.

I think anyone should pay for crimes which they committed, and whether he did or not is immaterial now, he has served his time, lost the majority of his finances and now has the chance to be proactive in the humane society, make ammends for what he has done wrong, be a more responsible citizen making positive contributions. i say give him a chance to do such things. Time will tell how he deals with the inevitable angry mobs that will infiltrate his attempt at resuming his life as a football player…. dont you think with the millions he might make as a player he could have MORE of an impact positively for animal rights contributions in the big picture than working a 9-5 job in a local humane society as many of you suggested? use your heads.

  51. Billil says:

To those of you who are suggesting that Vick deserves a second chance: Are you kidding me??? Aside from the fact that he was convicted of some seriously depraved acts, did anyone happen to look above and notice the picture of Vick flipping off cameras while at a press conference? Or perhaps his recent performance in a “Thug Motivation-103” video on YouTube, in which he professes his undying love for “my Nigga”? Or maybe a positive test for marijuana use? Nice, all very nice. I’m really hoping that my 6 year old son picks up on such classy behavior.
My point here is that regardless of your opinion on if Vick has paid his debt to society or not, he is still not a guy who should live in the limelight. If he wants to play football, there are plenty of Park Districts across the country.

  52. Jeff says:

To those who can’t tell, that is an edited photo. Michael Vick did not flip off the camera. Yes that is his face, but those are not his fingers.

This is the problem, people take these things too fast without really looking into them. Such as the person who asked for a response about MV vs. other players convicted of manslaughter and immediately released. Yet there are no protestants against these people. What about politicians who are convicted drug users? Why don’t we fight them. Why are animals the only thing that seems to truly enrage our country. Do drugs, beat your wife, fuck a child, all that seems ok, but dear god, kill/torture an animal and there shall be no remorse. I’m not saying that it is OK, merely mentioning that what seems to get people’s attention is seriously messed up.

  53. Redeem says:

Yes Killing animals was wrong, and MV was wrong for what he did. However I would like to stess the fact we once had a Commanding chief that lied about Mass Weapons of Descruction in a particular country and 1000`s of men and women were wounded and died over this lie but he being tried or has he done? No but he will have his day at the Judgement of an Almighty God he does not Repent and so will all of you who Hearts are full of unforgiveness…He that is without Sin…cast the first stone. Get over it, there is nothing that you can do about MV but there is something you can do about your sinful hearts.

  54. Prairiedog says:

Redeem – This thread is about a disgraced, former NFL thug who oversaw an illegal dog fighting ring on his property resulting in the deaths of more than 200 dogs.

What the hell does this have to do with George W. Bush and WMD?

    Try to stay on topic.

  55. Cowboy says:

Seems to me like the guy has paid his debt to society. The crime that he committed is between him and God now. Leave the guy alone!

  56. MR GOOD GUY says:

Mike Vick has paid his debt to society, period. While I agree that dog fighting is bad, there are worse things out there people, please. Dam, get over it!!! He has a right to earn a living!!! Dog fighting began with RED NECKS in the south— So this is what I’m going to need you emotional people to do, go to all those backwood shacks and do to them what you want to do to Vick… How about that???

  58. Lee Taylor says:

A lesson learned. Yesterday I caught my cat tormenting a mouse. He didn’t have the human decency to kill him and eat him humanely. He just flipped him around, gnawed on him, abused him, and left him to suffer and die slowly. When I caught him doing this I remembered the valuable lesson I’d learned from our justice system and have consequentially sentenced him to 24 months locked in his kennel without freedom. That evil cat will serve every day he deserves. You can be sure he won’t get out early like this monster Vick.

  59. awesome_athlete says:

Its awful that a man can serve his debt to society by serving time in the penn and try to turn around his life and get his JOB back…. people football is entertainment…. entertainment is a JOB! quit being jealous and let him play!!

  60. awesome_athlete says:

Dont get me wrong, dog fighting is bad and i agree he should have been punished…. but he was punished and its over! Move on with your lives and quit bitching, Vick has too much talent to not let him back into the NFL. And to the people talking about college players not getting a shot because of Vick…. thats BS if they had the talent Vick has then they would get there shot! There obviously not good enough!

  61. Ting Ting Balok says:

Michael Vick is a fucking yard ape and belongs in a cage in a zoo.

There, all his defenders can feed him nanas.

However you make it quite clear.
Keep up the good work. ; )

  63. Dolfan75 says:

Every one deserves a chance for a new start. Vick payed his dues and he deserves the opportunity to show he is a different man. If he is not capable of demonstrating this then kick him out indefinitely but until then let the man get on the right path and for Christ sake leave him alone.

  64. Larruy says:

    Wow…

  65. Larruy says:

I was stunned to see someone refer to this young man as a “Yard Ape” with no response from the sanctimonious (morally superior / correct crowd)…nothing at all… I guess this racist epithet is not very far from the word “Monster” used by some posters. I have to say that I have read this entire exchange and I NEVER post to them…until now. The people who seem to be most vitriolic in their responses here are probably from the same crew of humanity that would claim to love their fellow man at least as well as man’s best friend. I imagine they keep company with those who thump the bible when it comes time to reflect on the notion of forgiveness and redemption. To be sure Michael Vick is no Saint… He is a young man who made an incredible set of mistakes (remember that Dog Fighting was not what the feds were after initially…). He is no ape or monster, but a flawed human being like all of us posting messages here today… I really don’t care if he plays in the NFL or not, but I do care that so many people respond emotionally…rather than rationally and that those emotions are frighteningly raw and hateful. Did you ever think that your hatred is what fueled a Michael Vick in the first place? And I don’t mean to justify his acts (they are despicable), I just wonder if the people calling him a monster or yard ape would cheering on a pitbull latched to Vicks throat…that they wouldn’t urge the dog to tear him to shrds…to slam him to the ground…in short to have Michael Vick suffer what he inflicted on the innocent. And then this evening enjoy a steak dinner… Lamb chops tomorrow… Chicken wings during the pre-season game… Justified in their rage and satisfied that no team would stoop so low as to hire a monstrous yard ape like Michael Vick…

  66. Novagurl says:

There is really no need to get racist.
PLENTY of white people are involved in dogfighting.
I still dont care for MV, I still dont like what he did, I still have my opinion. But c’mon people: in this day and age?? Grow up and be mature in your postings.

YO vICK SIGNS WITH E!A!G!L!E!S! EAGLES

  68. pjworth says:

Who cares about the NFL or the game. Vick’s presence makes the game trash. Allowing him to play tells others that you can go to prison and then come back to make millions without breaking much of a sweat. Why do we idolize criminals just because they play a game? If football stopped tomorrow, the world would be just fine. No loss. Of course, the scores of dogs that he snuffed out have no options at all anymore.

Sad, sad, sad. It’s just football. It’s just a game.

  69. it doesnt matter says:

to bad everyone deserves a second chance and thats a fake picture

  70. Cotton says:

How can this liberal a group be so bullheaded about ideas like rehabilitation and second chances? It would look a lot better for everyone on this side of things if you actually thought to practice the tolerance that you preach.

The man has paid his debt as prescribed by a federal judge. A debt, mind you, that was much larger thanks to his fame and wealth. Now, his wealth is gone and his fame is tainted for life and he’s starting over. Sure, he’s still getting paid too much, but if you think that pro athletes getting overpaid is Vick’s fault, then you have greater problems at hand.

  71. R Smith-pro athlete says:

There is so much hatred in the world and in this country. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes, everyone deserves a second chance. I do not support his actions, however I do not feel he deserves to lose his right to work for his mistakes. He served his time and should be allowed to make ammends for his mistakes. Your former President lied to the world and started an unneccsary war where thousands of innoncent people have died. What is his punnishment?

  75. Tae says:

I can’t believe that many of the people leaving messages on this site are so unforgiving, I thought when you spent time in jail it was a means of paying your debt to society. Once that is done the person should be able to try and become a productive member of society again.

Michael Vick is an incredibly talented young man who should be able to do what he loves after admitting guilt and paying for his crimes which after millions of dollars later I believe he has.

Men and women who has committed worse crimes get less time in prison. Many of you fighting for dog rights should spend more time fighting for human rights. Children molested, abused, neglected, mistreated and killed would like this same passion used in fighting for their rights.

All around the world children and young adults are kept as slaves to be used as their owner pleases. All around the world there are children who don’t get at least free primary education! This you should be appalled at!

  76. R Smith-pro athlete says:

Ignorance is bliss that should be the topic to those that can’t see a comparrison between tht death of dogs and the death of humans

  77. Sarah in St. Augustine says:

Vick hung dogs, electrocuted them with jumper cables, smashed them onto cement floors, tossed puppies into cages with primed and vicious pit bulls to be torn apart and left to bleed to death. A female dog was pregnant when she was killed.

I am appalled by the number of people on this thread who are more than willing to pat Vick on the back and give him another chance to make millions of dollars. You people are ghouls.

  78. Noah says:

Come on people..what happened to forgiveness..I mean what Vick did was in no way right…but everyone deserves a second chance..I just hope he takes full advantage of this oppertunity…and if coach Dungy can step up and say he deserves another chance..then by god me too….not just because i am a colts fan…..I wish him the beat of luck…and please people learn to forgive when people mess up…. He served his time let him be….For those religious people..like me..we are taught to love and forgive ur fellow man…so quit being hypocritical…

  79. Biker Guy says:

I always taught my two sons that “sportsmanship” is a virtue. Sports is more than a pathway to a big house, bling and a bevy of hot girls. So, it’s based on these values, values I tried to teach my two sons that I must say Michael Vick should be disqualified from playing in the NFL. This has nothing to do with forgiveness. It goes to character and I don’t think Michael Vick has a sound character and he’s no one I would want my kids to look up to.

  80. Douglass Lewis says:

I think Vick is a perfect fit for Philly. After all, he’s a dog killer.

  81. Tae says:

I understand @ biker guy, Sports is about sportsmanship, I do think that what Vick did was wrong but I also teach my children about second chances and owning up to your mistakes. I hope Vick has done all of these. I just wish that so many people would not use others mistakes to say such mean and nasty things about others.

I pray that America would see and evaluate its thoughts, words, choices and look beyond what they believe, were taught and look to become even better people.

Our children are growing up in a world where change is possible. Tolerance is needed and respect is required.

Please everyone teach your children character, raise them to be people who look down upon attrocities to everyone and everything, no matter where they live.

In the words of Michael Jackson… ” Make the world a better place, what have we done to the world, Look what we’ve done,What about all the peace? It starts with the man in the mirror.

  82. John Teeter says:

Vick defines the NFL, its fans. This is all that needs to be said. Oh, by the way, nice photo of the ruthless, vicious coward scumwad. And he was – from that point/moment – allowed to continue to play? And how about all the Vick apologists? Wutta bunch of sick, deranged scum.

Ya, definitely………., Vick defines the NFL and its fans. For that matter much of America.

  83. stradella says:

Michael Vick give us black folks a bad name.

For all my life, I have struggled to overcome the race prejudice that is institutionalized in America and finally, we elect a back man to the highest office in the land but we still have to explain an asshole brother like Vick.

  84. R Smith-pro athlete says:

wrong anwser buttholes come in every color he represents himself, he happens to be a man of color. That is one problem in america because a person of a particular race does something, he doesnt define me or people of color. JUst a reminder assholes come in all color and sizes

  85. Get real dfs says:

Man im gonna say it’s and don’t care about reactions. When it comes down to it he killed some dogs. Why is a dog any more important than a cow? Because some ass says it’s man best friend?

Get over it folks! People kill people everyday and get less prison time. The man deserves another chance just like everyone else.

  88. Bwana Jim says:

    Vicks’ problem is own words.

He told the NY Post he “knew it was wrong” but he “did it anyway.” This is only seven words so it should be simple for Vicks’ idiot defenders to comprehend.

    Let’s review:

    Vick “knew it was wrong”

    But he “did it anyway.”

So, what can we conclude? I’ll make it simple fer ya’ He lacks a moral compass to make sound decisions. He’s a danger to people, to dogs and to the NFL.

  89. R Smith-pro athlete says:

Sports is a business. If your company could pay you 1/10 of what your worth and get away with it. They would , and thats the bottom line.

Is a dogs like more valuable than a human life. None of you seem to know about Dante Stallworth’s DUI Manslaughter charges he was found guilty of. Only suspended for one year out of the league and spent a whopping 24 days in jail, not prison. What Vick did was wrong and is outrageous, but the punishment does not fit the crime compared to Dante.

  100. Omar says:

If Vick get through one season I will be very surprised. He’s a liability and my guess is, a lot of fans won’t like him adding to Philly’s reputation as “Killadelphia.”

  101. bLake says:

In case you didn’t know, like most defendants in the US district court system…Vic did not set his own prison term. If you have a problem with the length, take it up with the courts.

  102. Gleneagle says:

Biker Guy – You sound like an excellent father.

I wish there were more men out there like you who try to instill in their children a solid foundation of values and morals.

To put Vick up on a pedestal after what he did and pay him millions, is emblematic of what’s wrong with this country.

What’s next? Convicted NFL child molesters getting a fresh start to play?

  103. Tommy says:

why don’t you people do your homework. did you know that the nfl has convicted felons and guys who have murdered others. do you actually think Michael was killing those dogs physically himself….no. there were people working for him. people who think he doesen’t deserve another chance are hipocrites. nobodies life is perfect in this world, everyone has done something there not proud of…..and yes i have 2 pitbulls and a boxer, and love them dearly.

  104. Lynn says:

I think that Micheal Vick deserves a second chance. Sometimes, I think that we are so quick to judge and condemn when the truth is that we all have issues we are dealing with. I saw M. V.’s interview and he seems sincere and apologetic. As Jesus would say, “Let him without sin, cast the first stone.” Everyone deserves forgiveness. I am almost certain that we all have something or someone we need to ask for forgiveness. It is only people who are self righteous who would condemn and judge. He has paid his dues to society, irregardless if we agree with his time spent or not, leave him alone. He has the right to use his God given talent and make a living. I am sorry about the animals he killed. And why it seems that some of you are more concerned about dogs, what about you brother, people right here in the U. S. and around the world who are starving. Oh well, let me get off my soapbox. Anyway, I am glad that he his given a second chance.

She would fit right in with the NFL.

As an Eagles fan, I was uncertain on how to take this news. Then I remembered, THIS IS FOOTBALL, NOTHING MORE THAN ENTERTAINMENT. If you don’t believe your kids should see him play, THEN DON’T. Leave them in their rooms with “VeggieTales”. REAL LIFE HAPPENS…MISTAKES HAPPEN. Look back on your life…maybe you didn’t get busted when you had one too many beers and drove, or maybe you stole something that wasn’t yours before BUT YOU MESSED UP BUT YOU GREW UP AND CHANGED! That’s what he was, Vick, the little child that needed a life lesson. Right, Right Right….everyone will say they never did ANYTHING wrong…btw HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF THE GUYS WHO WILL RAPE YOU IN JAIL? No, because you probably just watched “Locked-Up” on TruTV and think it’s a vacation, right? RAPE for two years is enough of a sentence, LET IT GO. I don’t see any of you getting out there and volunteering at animal shelters…so don’t be judgemental when you aren’t proactive either. Yes, I love dogs too but should he receive the death penalty? What more do you want? If WE’RE lucky, some free safety will blitz and knock him into a coma where he will never wake up…IS THAT JUSTICE? Become a lawyer if you have a problem with his sentence. That would require extra school so that’s probably out… Lastly, I think you should all switch to another thread of comments and focus on the real issue… We have soldiers not coming home to their families and VICK is what we care about? Watch football, watch it because it is fun, not because it promotes moral values and high ethical standards. Watch football for what it is meant to be, a televised sport.

PS…College football athletes sometimes rape dorm girls and cheat on tests. They drink too much and get DUIs while abusing friends and family…should college be banned too because it’s not just athletes…what next?

  109. I hope he gets kick out of the NFL, dog killers should not be treated with respect unless they are really sorry, I don’t think he is sorry

  110. SERiouSLy? says:

OK, it seems that this comment page has ended the intelligent debating and is now just a forum for ignorant comments. Be mad at Donte Stallworth for getting 24 days in jail for killing a human being, not Mike Vick for killing dogs and getting 2 years. Take it away blkguy…

    E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!

  111. SERiouSLy? says:

blkguy, ben wasn’t charged with rape…check up on that.
And “You white people are the most nasty creatures on the face of this earth.” is not really saying you like white people because that would mean you contradict yourself, thus saying you hate Michael Vick…

    Honestly, I don’t know why I am even trying…haha

  112. SERiouSLy? says:

I’m not “hating” on him at all. Die hard Eagles fan means taking the good with the bad, plus taking a criminal onto our team…if the Ravens can do it then so can the Eagles. This will be my last post since I am now trading words with someone who referred to a certain race of human beings as “the most nasty creatures on the face of this earth”. Yeah, so unless you’re not human, such as a pitbull, you’re racist.
On the other hand, if you are a pitbull, I hope your team doesn’t play the Eagles!

  113. SERiouSLy? says:

Seriously, you’re playing the race card? Why is it when someone does something bad, it’s because of what color/race they are? It’s not, it is just people like you who can’t get the ignorance out of your head and see the real picture. PEOPLE ARE FAULTY BY NATURE, NOT BY RACE. Oh, and “that swimming guy” smoked bud IN A PHOTO and didn’t drink and drive. Phelps got caught…that is the problem. Everyone doesn’t have media following them around 24/7 or even YOU would have pictures that you wouldn’t be proud of. No one is perfect…black, white, asian, etc. You make yourself look stupid by putting up comments like your previous ones. Stop while you are ahead (not by much, but stopping would put you ahead)….watch how it works……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  114. SERiouSLy? says:

    You made my point.

  115. WHITE PEOPLE RULE says:

blkguy writes: “You white people are the most nasty creatures on the face of this earth.”

Blacks are only 12% of the population but blacks account for 50% of the crime, murders, crash theft, drug deals and gangs. Blacks aren’t very smart in fact, my guess is, you’re granny is the subject of one of Dianne Fosse’s picture essays from her time living in the jungle in Africa.

  116. WOW says:

This all so funny your all losers and to white ppl rule you crack me up son the president is black hahaha trailer trash like you give white ppl a bad name thats why they think we are all racist and vick is back deal with stop crying you pussys and get over this shit and get a fucking life stop bloging hahahaha i came across this bullshit looking at that fake ass picture that some loser made

  117. WOW says:

VICK+EAGLES=SUPER BOWL WIN why don’t you all go cry about it haha or better yet make a stupid ass sign and stand out side the game like the true dumb ass you are none of you really give a shit anyway wanna be PETA PUSSYS

  118. heebeegeebee says:

Does Vick have a white woman (or two or three) at home? These NFL gorillas always forsake the sisters for a white woman. To them, it’s the difference between driving a Mercedes and a VW.

    Damn straight on that.

  120. trevor says:

why are yall making such a big deal about dog fighting there is like a million things worse he could have done so i think he is an awesome player and he is one of my favorites

  121. WHITE PEOPLE RULE says:

Vick may stand 6’6″ and weigh in at 300lbs. but if you cracked his head open, there would be a brain the size of a walnut.

He belongs in a zoo and not in the NFL.

  122. ReNee says:

I am not a football, but I am outraged at the level of unforgiveness in this country. My goodness, a man made a mistake, served time for his mistakes, and is not trying to get on with his life. But you have people who want to see him suffer….see him busted and disgusted. This is amazing. I wonder what would turn up if we looked deeply into the lives of those who are fueling this fury.

We are all one accident a way from being in Mr. Vick’s shoes. Say you were traveling down the road and hit a child by mistake, and the only witnesses are the child’s parents. They become angry…filled with fury and trump up the accident. You go to jail for vehicular homicide. You serve time, get out of jail and want to start over. But no….mothers and fathers are protesting in front of your home. All unfair!

Mr. Vick is guilty. There’s no questioning that, but he paid the price by serving time and now wants to start over. What is wrong with that? Do you want him to be homeless? Starving? Dead? If so, beloved you are no better than him. This makes you a cold, calculating monster as well.

  123. ReNee says:

    Corrections:

sorry not a football fan….and now trying to get on with his life

  124. Chris Brenaldo says:

I’m going to start by saying that I in no way condone dog fighting or anything else he may have done. I have a dog and love it and would hate the idea of her fighting or anything. But, everyone bashing him needs to get checked for a minute. Why is there such public outcry over this when there are many other players who are much worse? Larry Johnson had the cops at his house 3 times last football season for beating his wife, yet there is no mass outcry for him. Ray Lewis killed someone, got away with it, and won MVP and the superbowl that year so no one cared. Donte Stallworth killed someone drunk driving and got 20 days in jail (Vick got over a year) and will be playing in the NFL next year and I’m sure no one will care. I could go on forever with this list in football and many other sports. Are any of these people any better than Mike Vick? So why is he the one catching all the flak? Dogs have become more valued than humans because of crazy organizations like PETA. Dogs used to be treated like animals and kept outside and treated horribly. Again I repeat I love dogs and have never and will never engage in or condone dog fighting, but this is completely unfair treatment.

  125. Rick Dunbar says:

All of you who think Vick shouldn’t have been reinstated are all fucking ridiculous, Vick is a great exciting football player who deserved nothing more than a fine for what he did to those dogs, PETA kills thousands of dogs a year who have no place to go I think its complete bullshit that you losers would say dumb horseshit like this guy should never be allowed to play in the NFL again, or that he should have stayed in prison for another couple years. As if taking 2 years away from this start athlete in his prime wasn’t enough you think Goodell should have taken away his rite to play football?? over a couple stupid fucking dogs??? Fuck all of you guys Michael Vick is incredible and I hope he does amazing in the rest of his career to spite you cock suckers!!!

  126. tired.. says:

People please. This is awful. Everyone deserves a chance, heaven forbid you all be judged on your perfect lives that you have led. Good thing you all are not the judge and jury of us all, I don’t believe in killing animals either but goodness get over it. Just don’t watch him play.

  127. doglover says:

I think my dog is a human and what vick did was so bad I put a dog over a human cause I love dogs I let my dog lick my dick and it felt so good.

  128. Freepers on Mars says:

People please. This is awful. Everyone deserves a chance, heaven forbid you all be judged on your perfect lives that you have led.

    Are you mentally retarded?

No, everyone doesn’t deserve a chance. Are you really saying dog killers, child molesters, child killers and Osama bin Laden deserve a “second chance?” Please, is right. Maybe NFL fans just aren’t very smart.

  129. NFL Needs a Lobotomy says:

Vick’s dead dogs didn’t get a second chance.

I bet 98% of his defenders here are ghetto coons with a 7th grade education. The losers of society who cheer on thugish behavior.

Lower life can’t be found. These ghetto dwellers need to go back to Africa. We don’t want you.

  130. Gleneagle says:

I’m looking forward to seeing Vick getting his head smashed by a linebacker built like a semi.

It almost makes it all worthwhile.

  133. Yellowknife says:

You know what? Killadelphia deserves Vick. He’s a perfect fit for that slum town.

  134. I’m a white 51 yr old grandma who loves dogs and football. I’m not particularly a MV fan even though I live in VT land! That said, I believe in hard time for the crime, however, I believe in 2nd chances! I applaud Philly (the city of brotherly love) for giving this “young” man a chance for redemption, and I boo all of you who want to hang him up and castrate him!!!! I even know a few things about felons and prison rapists……thanks to the tireless and outrageous efforts of PETA we are now treating this human being as lower than a pit bull, what does that say for our humanity?? I hope that Michael Vick has the character, tenacity and good judgement to go on to be one of the greatest role models of our time!! He is in a prime position to teach all our children about 2nd chances, learning from our mistakes, becoming a solid citizen, and recovering from a major financial and personal crisis. If he fails to do these things, then ban him from making his living, not until. Btw, the above photo has been doctored….duh.

  135. Yellowknife says:

    Make Love,

When did it become the job of NFL players to teach our kids? Funny, I thought this was the parents job?

No wonder the world is fucked up. I sure as hell wouldn’t want my kids taught by Michael Vick.

  136. Wiseguy1975 says:

It’s sad that so many imperfect people can be so judgemental. This is a country built on atrocities against PEOPLE, not dogs. Black PEOPLE were hung from trees like dogs, raped, mutilated, and tortured. Native Americans had treaty after treaty torn up, and their land taken. It was not very long ago that policemen sic’d dogs on peaceful civil rights demonstrators. Were it not for frogiveness, this would still be a country very devided. Many people could just as easily say they “hate” because of what was done to them, but in the end, who are we to judge? And while we are demonizing MV for 150 some odd dogs, what about the 4300+ and counting dead soldiers coming home in boxes every day behind WMDs that Bush KNEW didn’t exist in Iraq in the first place? What about the COs in California prison who were setting up inmates to fight to the death and gambling on the outcome? I’ll bet no one can even tell me one name of a person (CO, official, or warden) who was involved in that. But of course convicted felons are lower than dogs, so who cares. Talk about priorities. Get a life and protest people that are still commiting crimes against you every day. Bodies are still being shipped home. As a footnote, I am a dog owner and lover. Never fought a dog in my life. But there are many people throughout history who have done worse to other human beings and been forgiven. But what’s funniest is the most judgemental people always end up getting caught in their own scandals. Think about that. You might end up in the spotlight if you were ever famous enough for anybody to care when you got caught.

  137. wiseguy1975 says:

And to “NFL Needs a Labotomy”, you’re just an ignorant non-factor. So much so that there is a black president in the white house (I’m sure you’re still mad at that you racist scum, and had there been more like you, he wouldn’t be, or would have been assassinated by now). That should tell you something but you’re too stupid to realize that you’re just an embarrassment to decent members of your race who strive to be decent members of our society. I firmly believe that success s the best revenge, and while Michael Vick is moving on, redeeming himself, and getting back to a point where he can possibly enjoy every facet of his life, your dumb ass will be somewhere angry because you have to see him shining on TV while your miserable life still sucks.

  138. Yellowbird,
with your disgusting language and apparent pent-up hatred, you better hope someone other than you are teaching your kids. You make MV seem like an alter boy dude. BTW I was addressing previous entries re: present day role models.

  139. Yellowknife says:

Make Love, this is what you wrote:

He is in a prime position to teach all our children about 2nd chances, learning from our mistakes, becoming a solid citizen,

I stand by my words. It’s the job of parents to teach their kids and instill in them values. No some failed NFL star who oversaw the killing of 200 dogs.

BTW, are your kids in prison? How many kids have they hatched outside of wedlock?

  140. MARJE says:

VICK PAID HIS DUES IN PRISON, ARE YOU KIDDING? YOU SEE THAT PICTURE WITH HIS FINGERS UP AT EVERYONE. THAT IS THE REAL GUY. NOW HE IS PLAYING EVERYONE. HE WILL STOP OTHER PEOPLE FROM DOING WHAT HE DID. I WANT TO WAIT AROUND TO SEE THAT HAPPEN. HE NEEDS TO FEEL SOME OF THE PAIN THAT HE CAUSED THOSE POOR ANIMALS.
SHAME ON THE NFL. I AND MY FAMILY AND MANY OF MY FRIENDS WILL NEVER ATTEND A GAME HE PLAYS IN.

  141. Flynt says:

From what I see here and on other blogs, the blacks are willing to forgive and forget (think OJ Simpson) and the whites (at least the educated ones) don’t think Vick should play again. This is really all about class and to a lesser extent, race. Personally, I lost all respect for Vick and I don’t think I will ever get it back. He can dance on his head and juggle but what we have is a man who knew what he was doing was wrong but went ahead and did it anyway. They say the definition of morality is what you do when no one is looking.

  142. Hannah says:

Do you all really think he cares what you think of him? And the question is this if this was a white man would the boards really be buzzing? Or would everyone in america get on there 4×4’s and ride in the streets saying Yee Haa the good ole boy is back? hmm okay say what you will but I am sure Mike Vick will be okay and besides they took his money his wealth but they did not take his talent and his mind! And further more some of you will be the first in line to get is autograph if you had the chance. LMAO!

  143. Kay Kay Kay says:

I’d sure like to aim my 4by4 at Michael Vick and run his sorry ass down. He’s just taking up space and air and doesn’t deserve to be alive.

  144. Hannah says:

And this one is free based on the comments on this blog it seems to me that the majority of the people on here are ignorant non educated , low class and have no idea what it means to be american.

  145. wpaman says:

The ironic part about all of this is that every single one of you that commented, has products in your home that are made in China. In China, dogs are slain and cooked as food, but yet you do not boycott the country of China or other Asian countries where this is tradition. Of course, all they do is catch the dogs and slit their throats, which is more humane than fighting them, but none the less, if you were that strong about principle of dog abuse, you would not purchase products from these countries. In a sense, there is major hypocracy at hand.

Another point to be made is that many professional athletes in the past have been convicted of everything from drug dealing, aggravated assault and sexual assault and returned to play in professional sports after paying their debt to society.

Which is worse, killing dogs or harming other humans? I’m sure that a lot of you would say killing dogs but I don’t agree.

I agree with the sentence handed down by the courts…..two years of his life and $130M sounds pretty fare to me.

In a country that allows child rapists back on the street within a couple of years, that sounds pretty fare.

Good luck in your comeback Michael Vick.

  146. Jackson1982 says:

Oh man these are some dumb SOBs here.

So, wpaman says Vick should get to play because of something happening in China?

    Dude, are you brain damaged?

OK then. I hear dog killers on Vulcan are put to death. So Vick should be put to death too.

  147. michaeljackson#1 says:

In about 1yr the haters will go away. This story does not have to many legs to go on for so long. Vick will get a nice 60-70 million doller contract after he is done with the philly.

  148. michaeljackson#1 says:

For all of you who won’t to say the negative things about vick this is just for you. Don’t be mad at vick cause all of you have a crap job, crap boss, you work a 9-5 that does not pay good, you have bad relationship, can’t control your kids so you expect the sports stars, music stars, movie stars to raise your kids cause you parents don’t won’t to do the job. Don’t blame vick for your crap ass life blame yourself.

  149. Ronald Mexico says:

Will all of you whiny no-lifes please find something better to do than complain about Michael Vick? The man served his time (too much of it in the first place, killing dogs does not merit 2 years in prison) to society and is now trying to make a living. If Michael Vick had committed rape or assault, he’d gladly be let into the league with no backlash at all. But because he made a mistake that was a staple of his culture, people like you with nothing better to do will try and bring him down. Well news to all of you, Vick’s a millionaire again and he’s lounging in Philly, now go walk your Shitzu and complain to your neighbors over tofu, it will only increase his celebrity.

  150. ELWAY is the Real #7 says:

Eventhough I am not a Vick fan, he was tried convicted, sentenced and time served. You fricken Sheep. You all just follow the pack.. I know a lot of you haters hate Vick because its the easy thing to do. You all go to confessional and ask for forgiveness and thats it.. You are forgiven, but you all are better than Vick so he can’t be forgiven. Keep grazing you sheep. Roam with the flock. You cheated on your spouse or girl/boyfriend and asked to come back home, failed a test and asked a professor for extra credit.. You needed a second chance to pass a class. Don’t be upset because you are still broke and ugly.. You idiots only care about whats big in the news.. can you say Dante’ Stallworth.. Drinkng and driving and kills a HUMAN.. a does 30 days.. 2 year for dogs 30 days for humans.. get a clue

  151. Diane Whited says:

Yellowbird, shame on you trying to malign and degrade me with your rantings about “hatching kids out of wedlock”. If you had a clue about who I am, you’d check yourself in for intensive mental treatment, just for suggesting such outrageous stupidity. You are full of anger son, and I feel really sorry for “your” family. Go see a counselor!

  152. Forgiveness says:

How do we justify calling for Michael Vick’s Head; when Dick Cheney the Quail Killer and Sara Palin the Moose Murderer roams free without spending a day in prison…People, just as most of us has forgiven these two (even though they didn’t spend a day in prison), so should we forgive a man who has paid for his sin. To err is human to forgive is devine.

  153. Jackson1982 says:

Vick’s supporters aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box.

As is evidenced by their comments.

  154. Jackson1982, I’m sure that must be the year you were born, because all you seem to know how to do is be vile and disrespectful to others. Instead of stating a rational case for “your” beliefs all you can do is call others stupid. That is one of the greatests faults with today’s young people! They are so quick to malign, and dis everyone else that they can’t clean up their own backyard!! I truly expect that you are not perfect yourself buddy. Let’s all learn to be accountable for our own shortcomings and misdeeds, then maybe we can stop hating and judging others. Each of us have a lot of work to do in our own lives!

  155. Lori1979 says:

    MakeLoveNotWar –

Yes, 1979 is my year of birth, so I guess you will find some way to diss and flame me too? What birth years pass muster with you? 1971? 1965? Or, 1957?

Just let us know so we know who is welcome to express our views here. OK?

Back to the topic about 50 replies earlier.

I too, share the outrage expressed by many over Michael Vick’s cruelty to innocent, harmless dogs all for fun and sport. He’s repeatedly said he was perfectly aware that what he was doing was wrong but he went ahead and did it anyway.

This is abnormal behavior. It’s the sort of thing you hear from sociopaths after they murder a child or a woman. Or, rob a bank.

I come down on the side of people Vick should be banned from the NFL for life. He’s a cretin and I worry he will engage in this behavior again.

  156. Bryan Caricofe says:

Dogs!… they were DOGS!… not people.
Lets really stir the pot, shall we?
There are several places to have an abortion performed in nearly every major city in the U.S.
people do it all the time… THEY KILL THEIR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD! and it’s legal. Dog fighting and animal cruelty are illegal, but are they any more brutal than killing an unborn child because it may interfere with your career or because you want an easy way out of a few bad decisions made?
I say if we are to forced, as a society, to overlook the abortion atrocity, then the masses of “cause junkies” need to take a backseat and just shut up.
Also to those who compare the sociopathic tendencies of Bundy and Dahmer to Vick… um… there was damn good money in dogfighting. and those other guys just liked the killing. and to the joker who was whining about Vick’s 5.something days served per dog… have you ever served 5 days before? love to see you at the end… like to see you down and out with nobody to give you a hand-up after you’ve fallen… see if you’re so pious then.

The guy is helping more dogs now than he killed.

maybe one of you cause driven jerks would have liked to have taken one of these failed fighting animals in as a pet… maybe you have your arm or your child alive to this day because these animals were destroyed and rehab was not attempted.

look people make mistakes. he made a boatload of them… but he faced them…

You go Mike. I appreciate your man-upness.

  157. Yellowknife says:

Bryan, I’m trying to follow your fracture logic.

So, because Vick’s victims were dogs and not people, the dogs deserved to be eaten alive, torn to shreds, slammed against the concrete, beaten with hammers, electrocuted and left to bleed to death or die from infection.

    Is this what you’re saying?

  158. Bryan Caricofe you are my idol now. You pretty much summed it all up. They were viscious “dogs”, that kill and injure “people” every day. That’s not to say they should be without rights themselves, but get real it was a business!!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

  159. Bryan Caricofe says:

yes, Yellow Stain, that is what I am saying… those dogs had it coming… just for being dogs…

Now with a little rational thoughy applied (but still the stinging whip)…
No that’s not what I mean, “Lefty” it’s not spoken word. It’s there to be read again, if necessary.
Understand that I think it’s wrong, but it’s not on the level of crime and punishment that the masses wish to apply here. Sadly, far greater crimes go unpunished and here we are, bangin’ on a guy who served his time, lost most of his money, and all of his credibility. But he held his ground admitted his wrongdoing. Any anonymous person in most lines of work could just go back to business and make a life…

I hope he scores big on your team.
Even if that happens to be my team.

you need to feed this hate… it’s the best way for us all to grow.

Hey, Salem called… they want their Stake back.

  160. Malia says:

I cannot believe that Mike Vic (freakin’ LOSER) was reinstated into the NFL!!! I don’t give a shit if he had to declare bankruptcy ~the many dogs that he tortured he should be paying the price and it should be MUCH higher… he’s lucky that he only had to do 18 months in jail… those innocent animals who loves us unconditionally did not derserve this at all!!!

What even more pathetic; is that he made his money and wanted to do this on the side??? I have more words to say and it could get fawl… so I leave it like this…

I hate Mike Vic for what he did to those poor innocent dogs… and will NEVER watch NFL if he is playing…

    Mike Vic = Gettho LOSER!!!

    M.

  161. R Smith-pro athlete says:

  162. VICK4LIFE says:

you people are so goddamn stupid. damn treehuggers. he learned his lesson, served the time, and is on a plan over the next three years to better human to animal relations for the terrorist organization peta. VICK IS AN UNREAL QB, and its not like he killed humans..they were dogs.

  163. Troy says:

“Vick’s an Eagle, now that’s illegal!” HA!
    People get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  164. the-ken-man says:

all of u vick haters just mad cause ppl actually bleve n second chances… maybe yall childhoods was so stuck up n filled with mislead dreams that the world is perfect n ppl dnt make mistakes n all that bullshit they fed yall wen yall was comin up ! ok, the man took the lives of dogs, do u kno that humans take the lives of other humans each n everyday ! my heart goes out to all the dogs that were killed but then again u gotta face the fact that SHIT HAPPENS!!! yall makin a big ass uproar just to feel important like u contributed to the prosecution of michael vick wen really yall aint do shit but make ya self mad ! ppl fight dogs everyday, miami, alabama, atlanta, washington d.c., maryland, north carolina, n all the other dam states, but vick just so happened to get caught up ! if you love dogs so much, mary the animal, have little human-dog babies, who cares wut the hell u do but dont blame one man for ALL the dam animal cruelty thats going on bcuz in that case, he is inoccent n every way ! n hahaha… the eagles signed him bcuz they are not stubborn like u stupid fucks ! GO EAGLES, GO VICK !

  165. james says:

That is why you guys are fucked up….. THE NFL is great and they have a right to let whomever they want… not you bunch of PETA idiots….someone said many of the dogs are like our children… that is what is wrong with america.

  166. JF says:

The guy did his time, and paid his dues, if you are not satisfied with him being on the streets turn to your justice system that lets people with lots of money get away with just about anything. Look at OJ & Michael Jackson both guilty, but money got them free. You shouldn’t be mad at Vick but mad at the legal system that lets people like this just walk free. That said If you serve your time, you paid your dues to society. Will Vick kill animals again ? Probably , the unfortunate thing is your protesting does nothing, and eventually people will lose interest and forget about all that ever happened, much like other various rich people who committed crimes.

  168. KLANDeb says:

    Well, lookee here?

All these fan boys jerking off over the image of the nigger Vick? What a sorry ass bunch of chump ass motherfuckers.

  169. R Smith-pro athlete says:

Jerry Jones spent 41 million dollars on a color T.V. for his new stadium . However alot of fools only see in terms of Black and White. I wish that money was invested in education. That is the only way to change these racist views. We all are americans and belong to the human race. People love there dogs more than they love each other. The world is a sick place, and some of you are to sick to help yourselves. This is the perfect time to get on your knees and ask your God for forgiveness. All things are possible through God. Forgiveness ,love , peace. Stop being used by the devil.

  170. Wifey says:

WOW!!! Some of you ppl are REALLY upset. I got a good laugh out of some of theses comments.

  171. Wifey says:

WOW!!! Some of you ppl are REALLY upset. I got a good laugh out of some of theses comments. I LOVE MV! Im glad he got another chance. If GOD can forgive, I think us ppl can too. You live and you learn. I hope makes the best of his second chance and out shine all this negativity. Yes, what he (they) did was wrong, but NO ONE is perfect.

  172. Rhonda D says:

When I first heard about Michael Vick and what he did I was sickened beyond belief. And Furious. And full of hate for him.
All I could think of was how much I love my pit bulls and all the work I do by fostering and finding homes for these seriously misunderstood dogs.
I am NOT saying I completely forgive Michael Vick. BUT he did do his time in prison. He lost everything he had because of his mistake and there is nothing left he can do except move forward and try to redeem himself.
And it appears that he is trying. He is making speeches against dog fighting, assisting the United States Humane Society and he also was ordered to pay over a million dollars to care for the dogs that were rescued from his kennels. What else can he do? We must stop vilifying him and let him prove himself and move on with his life.
A sad thought that occurs to me from time to time is this: yes those dogs lived a horrible life and died an even worse death. But they brought attention worldwide to what a horrible “sport” dog fighting is. In a sense, those poor dogs were martyrs for their breed: they died so others can live and the world can be reminded that dogs really are our best friends. Dogs are just dogs: no one breed is worse than the other: you can raise any dog to be a killer and any dog to be healthy and loving and adjusted.
I look forward to seeing Michael Vick do the right thing.
I hope others can realize that they too are just human beings who can make a terrible mistake and maybe tomorrow it could be them on the news: no one is perfect.

  173. Coon Hunter says:

My .22 is pointed at Michael Vick’s ape head.

All I need to do is sneeze and the fan boys will be in mourning.

    BANG!

  174. R says:

    Hey: FuckDogs
Why don’t you go shoot yourself in the head and make this world a better place, you stupid ignorant backwoods hick. Also go back and finish school so you can learn how to spell if you want to post.
You are the terrorist. I would love to clock you in your fucking ugly face. Go back to your hillbilly incest ring.

I am all about giving him second chance but you I’d like to run over with my car

  175. Deb says:

    Michael Vick didn’t make a “mistake”. He’s a murderer. It’s that simple.

  176. flapular says:

this post is wrong. he was NOT convicted on charges of animal cruelty. he was convicted of funding an illegal gambling ring across state lines! the feds dont even care about the dogs. it’s been two years since those animals dies….get over it!

so he plays his first pre-season game and there were barely any protests! instead, he was met by a standing ovation and applauding fans. he played reasonably well in his few plays, and was overjoyed with the welcome. good for him! he served his time for his terrible crime and was allowed what every other person is allowed after they serve their debt to society — another chance.

  177. You Guys Need A Life says:

Although i dont know if hes sincere or not,(call me dumb, im startin to think he just might be) I grew up in the country, and although I got the hell out quick as I could, and did NOT buy into any of those “southern traditions” I can see how part of it is the environment you were raised in. Now before ya go gettin huffy with me about it, yeah I know lots of folks are raised there and DONT go and do that kind of shit, but ya know what, like it or not, the guy served his time, and the law is done with him, so honestly, even this bullshit conditional reinstatement from “I Am God” Goodell, is really overkill, the guy did his time, and whats funny, Leonard Little, a defensive end killed someone in a DUI car wreck, last i knew nobody even cares, Stallworth killed somebody in a DUI car wreck, and Ill bet ya he gets less time away from NFL than Vick.you people leave the man alone, if you believe in the american judicial system (which I dont) then the man has done his time, and all this “show remorse” shit is just that, shit, if it came down to that, all hed have to do is fake it enough for long enough and yall would be on his nutts again, but here now that i believe hes actually pretty sincere and not overkilling the “im sorry”shit|, yall are sayin, its not enough, for fucks sake, GET A FUCKIN LIFE,
damn i just wasted 5 minutes of mine replying to yall. DAMN
    Peace

  178. Nick says:

oh and one more thing, Its not Vicks job to be a role model, yall are so into that celebritys bein role models shit, fact is most of em are juuuuust liiiiike us! Flawed, it aint their job to be the guy on the commercial sayin Drugs are Bad, or Drink Milk, or whatever, thats THE PARENTS JOBS!!!!!
GET A LIFE AND QUIT LOOKIN FOR THE TV TO TEACH YA HOW TO BE HUMAN!
    Peace…again…

  179. chris says:

I hope a Linebacker knocks Michael Vick on his ASS and ends his PATHETIC CAREER in the NFL. Then he can take his 1.4 million dollar contract and shove it up his DOG KILLING ASS!

Then once his money is gone he can go on unemployment or flip burgers at McDonalds!

Michael Vick is a Piece of Shit on the side of the road.

  180. Matt Padilla says:

Dogs have the intelligence of a 2 year old human.

They are utterly defenseless against humans who abuse them.

People who abuse dogs are the same filth who abuse children. Rape little girls and boys.

Of course, the dogs Michael Vick abused are much smarter than he will ever be. Vick is an insect.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t hate niggers — just dumb ones like Vick.

  181. DC Loc says:

all of you crying about michael vick on how he’s a bad role model need to relax. hahaha. If you are one of those tards who say you’re not going to watch the team Vick is on? well that’s too bad. Cause the Eagles have a stacked team this year, you may not be watching the super bowl if your not gonna watch their games. I doubt any of you saying his jail sentence was enough have been to prison. For dog fighting? his sentence was just. I even hope Vick can get out of Philly and on to another team as a starter and really become an elite QB just to make all of you guys moan and bitch. Everyone deserves a second chance. Michael Vick is in the NFL, stop crying lil bitches

  182. Coon Hunter says:

    Watch yourself, Nigger.

People are watching your sorry ass. Trust me. You won’t get away with this shit twice. Next time, you will go down.

  183. Abo says:

    1. He killed over 130 dogs for pleasure and personal gain.

    2. He ran illegal interstate gambling.

    3. He systematically failed to show remorse or take responsibility for his actions.

    4. He did not care (no remorse) that he was brutally murdering and (directly or indirectly) causing the deaths of countless dozen defenceless social animals with a high empathic quotient.

    5. He repeatedly lied in court and under oath.

What’s the fuss about MV? Well, he is a serial killer, a criminal (misdemeanors AND felonies), a liar, a sociopath, and overall a scumbag. Some people on this comment section want to see him back in the NFL, so he can make tons of undeserved money and be the hero and role model of the young and the mentally arrested?

Are you completely senseless? He should count himself lucky if he has a chance at a 9 to 5 job – and I think he IS entitled to that chance, having served his sentence. But that’s all, he has proved that he does not deserve a single molecule more than that. This guy is the very definition of ghetto trash.

Thanks to a childlike culture that idolizes professional athletes, we worship a bunch of low-brow thugs of severely limited mental capacity and absent moral compass. Athletes ought to be gentlemen – consider the meaning of the word “sportsmanship” – but very few are. This is not a case of a gentleman who made a mistake and paid for it. This is an asshole whose entire life revolved around persistent long-term dickhead behaviour.

  184. mek says:

I don’t see why you all have a problem. He bred these animals for fighting, they would not of existed without him. Also why don’t you have a problem with leonard little, or donte stallworht, they killed humans , it is much worse. I love dogs too, but the dogs that were bred for me or in my possession. Granted dogfighting is gruesome, is it really a two year crime, i disagree. Let it go, people, what about hunters and all that why don’t you have problems with them. They crucified him becuase he is young and black, and nothing more…and you continue these racist judgements.

  185. Nic Peterson says:

All of you need to calm down! He was caught having dog fights….whats the big deal? There are millions of other things he could have been doing that are worse. He apologized…did time for what he did and now is back to prove that he is ready to play in the NFL again. We all make mistakes and we all get second chances…why can’t he? Get off his back until he does it again…. and if he does then that’s a whole new issue, but for now he has done the time so let him do what he wants to do and treat him as if your best friend did something wrong and came back clean! He is a talented individual and deserves to show that in the NFL!

  186. Coon Hunter says:

Like I said earlier, Vick’s fan boys would clean his rectum with their tongues. It’s sick shit.

  187. Jay says:

I think all u bitter people who call mike cick an animal should change the freaking record….. The man paid is dues to society he was sent to prison and lost all his money….. I understand his action were horrible and disturbing but I mean come on people get chances everyday in america!!! Murders rapist drug dealers they get 2nd 3rd 4th chances and we never see such an uproar about it… This man did not harm or kill any person…. Bot saying killing animals is any better…. But of u think about it what’s the difference between dog fighting, which I might add is the norm in the south, and hunting defensless deer, birds, and bears??? The money???? It’s the same think anyway u sling it… U can say dog fighting is an event where people cheer for one animal to die and make money…. Hunting is the same thing…. U sit around drinking beer shooting Bambi then gut it and mount it on ur wall…. Seriously people let the man be and let him rebuild his life… What’s left of it!!!! Can’t believe most of u people!!! Bet if u got caught doing something illegal purposly or accidentaly u would want so forgivness!! So why deny this man!!!

  188. Coon Hunter says:

Have you noticed the fan boys say the samething?

Over and over and over and over and over.

I wonder if it’s the same 14 year while boy from a suburb of Houston? All I know is all this nigger anus licking is making me sick.

  189. Lily says:

Micheal Vick is a mean person…… why the heck is he back in Football!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh im going to rip my head off

  190. william paul says:

you people need to shut the fuck up! People have been making a bigger deal of this than most murders.get off his ass because its time to forgive.you boneheads are probably white

  191. Snowysmom says:

I see he was hired by the Philadelphia Eagles. I emailed the team and said they should not call themselves the Eagles anymore, but change the name to Philadelphia Dog Killers. That would be more fitting.

  192. God says:

    Fucking Niger !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  193. Snowysmom says:

Well, William Paul, now he didn’t seem to care what color the dogs were that he hung, did he. Color has nothing to do with it. It is about being a decent human being and Vick isn’t one of those!!

  194. JJ says:

all pit bulls were made for killing of other pitbulls they are evil and attack and mame children all the time they should all be euthanized.

  195. celia says:

Sounds like many if not most of you on here have forgotten that you too have sinned.

Let he that is without sin cast the first stone.

  196. Sam10 says:

vick was never that good of player. He’s even worse now. Almost everyone on the team hates his guts. No one wants him on the team, not even u no who.
Goodell thinks he’s a piece of sh*t and mv makes him sick. Goodell had to give vick a chance because of the laws and contracts. Goodell wishes vick into hell.

vick will fail what he has to live up to because that is vick’s nature, to fail and to f*ck up. Then, the NFL will be able to kick him out once and for all.

No one likes a sadist like this vick mf. I hope he dies soon and painfully. He’s cursed his whole family by his inhuman and unspeakably cruel actions. Any normal human seeing the pictures, reading the details, or seeing in person the horrid carnage he perpetrated on caged and feeling animals, could never support an unfeeling monster like vick.

vick is one sick mf and doesn’t deserve to breath air. I want to do to him what he did to those caged animals. I cannot express fully enough my hatred for this satan spawn. If I was like him, I’d kill him with my own hands, slamming him into the ground after dousing him with cold water and electrocuting him, and then I’d hang him.
What an evil god^am*ed monster. The world would have been better off if “it vick” had never been born.

  197. biggie says:

To all you dog lovers and wanna be Christians who talk all about people and there mistakes and short comings and really don’t know the man or feel his remorse and don’t think he should get a second chance should go to hell right along with some of them dogs and most of the people are racist and mad they will never have the skills or talent to play one down in the league and for this writer of this publication who tried very hard to make him look like the devil with his choice of words, in a society who have priests who have sex with little boys and politicians who are crooked as ever…he served his time like the government gave him lost every thing but some how can not get a second chance not third or fourth!!!

  198. ilike8==D says:

  203. o.marvales says:

vick is the shit, i know that what he did was wrong by killing dogs, but why didnt they charge him for killing on the football field? vick is a beast, i suggest the NFL give him another chance. He did his time, and now he wants to get back on the field and do something positive.

that most and majority of the people on here who is against Vick are White!!!!
    lets put it this way.
If vick was a white quaterback.
and did what he did(not saying it was right)all this bullshit you all have going on would not even be present.
the truth is you all just want to see another black man fail.

  212. nasty says:

look at all you hatin. the man did his time. an seems all you were wrong!, apparently another team took him. so take ur hatin elsewhere

  213. Krama says:

Has this guy being investigated for those 5 years for Tax fraud, you know he didn’t claim the money he earn from setting up those dogs fights. So whats the deal with that said…should I call VA Tax office and bring that up with them? and let them know he should be audited?

There only one way to get back at this guy and thats through his pockets. I hope to God that FL doesn’t sign this loser and I hope that his career ends all together. Maybe we all need to make a stand and and not show up for any team he plays with or against period. Unsold tickets and all those empty seats…are bound to hit profitor pockets in a bad way. I mean they over looked felony charge animal killing what next? You going to over look rapes? or child molestors? yeah lets fund these assholes so they can do it again… Fucking retards ruin football for me all together.

Fuck You Micheal Vick for tainting the NFL with ur murderous hands and shame on the NFL for letting him back.

  214. Krama says:

And stop playing that race card…only a child would go as low to say its a race issue. It’s how a guy can be so unhumane, that only shows he is capable of killing human. If you ever picked up a book and comprehend what it tells you, you should pick on up and read about profiling serial killers for they all start with murdering animals. Guess whats the like to murder next?
Black White Hispanic Indian Yellow Purple Green or Pink…a murderer is a murderer 18 months of Federal Prison 5 Months of House Arrest…yeah ummm sorry not enough for me especially if he got his career back. I don’t care how good a guy may be he will NEVER make up for what he has done he has not paid his debt to society and if I was one of the ones that actually saw him doing this believe you me, I would of shot him myself.
I wouldn’t doubt that you are into dog fighting yourself and its not the breed you have to worry about my dear ignorant friend…its the people like me who love them and have nothing to lose.

  215. Krama says:

And as far as the Hating comment, that only applies when you are envious of somebody…and Im not envious of being a loser like Mr. Vick. Players who are in the NFL have a moral fiber to upkeep because many of youths are looking up to them and for them to have let him back in after what he has done. Please, why dontyou for a moment just picture yourself strapped to that rape harnest he made for the females to be breed unwillingly…now imagine your kid, your mother, cousin, grandmother, grandfather… cause thats the road this non remorseful jack ass named Mr. Vick is going down.
So when he gets caught doing such to a missing child…not only can we society blame the NFL, we can blame you the fans that continue to follow and supporting such a man. Whos to say he hasnt already…not like he didnt have the means to do so…cause he does.

I have always been an eye for an eye type person and maybe we need to stop all this grey areas and go back to harsher punishments that doesnt cost us the tax payers to much.

  216. The Borba says:

    Consider the source.

Vick is a baboon, an ape, just a dumb coon.

He’s one or two generations from the tree. What do you want from it? He’s an animal who like white pussy cuz it’s soft and sweet.

  217. beagle tips says:

you know This is very ironic. just explains everything.

  218. Coon Hunter says:

The N.I.G.G.E.R. Vick is a dumb coon.

He’d better travel with security for the rest of his life because if I get the chance, I plan to hit him up the same way he abused those dogs. He’s going down and it ain’t gonna’ be pretty when I get down with his sorry coon ass.

  219. Yard Ape says:

Vick has a big ass. There is some evidence that such buttocks (steatopygous buttocks) may have evolved as a way to store fat away from the central body and thus allow heat exchange to occur in a better manner.

A similar evolutionary adaptation has occured in “fat tailed sheep” and camels — both hot weather dwelling — (where the fat is localized in one area making heat exchange in other areas more efficient.)

Perhaps, it was also a way of providing a necessary energy reserve for times of lean food rationing.

Blacks are only a few generations removed from the African bush. They have only been walking upright less than 500 years.

  220. Ralph DeMattia says:

This piece of human garbage was signed by the Eagles for 3 reasons:
    1. The Eagles owner is a whore who cares about making money over anything else, and he feels that this asshole will make money for him.
    2. The general public doesn’t care what someone does, as long as they are extremely good at it, and as long as they stay on top, the public wil forgive anything! Bill Clinton proved that theory years ago when he whored around and got elected President, then kept whoring around and got RE-elected!?
    3. Too many people simply don’t care about animals enough. I love cats, but still hate Michael Vick for what he did, and don’t think he suffered enough.

  221. chet says:

LOL Is this one of those secret KKK sites? May I join? I hate niggers!

    Thank you so much!

(just joking – you bunch of sick fucks! Get a life!)

  222. Lucille D. Rodriguez says:

Vic needs to get a job in construction, or some other labor position. He was given a big chance in football and threw this away. If he was dumb and did not attend school when winning all that money that is his fault. He needs to go away. He got nothing as far as punishment for what he did. Prison is not bad, they get free medical, dental care, free food, shelter, a little job for a few hours and paid from 5 to 50 cents, so they can buy candy, cigaretts, then rest, watch TV or listen to radio. They get mail, gifts from family members. They even get to exercise. What suffering? The poor dogs did not get this kind of treatment from him.

  223. Ayesha says:

What a pathetic person, I cannot believe he even has the nerve to say he wants to have a dog more than anything again! The NFL is not even a 2nd chance you deserve and not endorsements from NIKE and most definitely NOT another dog.
