Defending Daddy

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

Liz Cheney, daughter of Dick Cheney, has made a career for herself defending her daddy against the growing of chorus of critics for his part in the unlawful and unconstitutional practice of enhanced, interrogation techniques, AKA, torture, during the Bush administration.

Liz’s fidelity to her daddy was on display yesterday when she called into the Moonie-owned, Washington Times’ America’s Morning News radio show to defend him from a blistering piece in the New York Times on Saturday that said Dick Cheney gave direct orders to the CIA to withhold information about a secret counterterrorism program from United States Congress for eight years.

Liz Cheney wasted no time lashing out at daddy’s critics:

CHENEY: There’s this big piece in the Wall Street Journal this morning that says that it was a number of different concepts for ways that we could capture or kill al Qaeda leaders in the days after 9/11. I am really surprised that the Democrats decide that that’s what they want to fight over. I mean, if they want to go to the American people and say that they disagree with the notion that we ought to be capturing and killing al Qaeda leaders, I think it’s just going to prove to the American people one more time why they can’t trust the Democrats with our national security.

The audio file of her appearance can be heard HERE:

I don’t know about you but, watching the Oedipus manifestations play out between Liz Cheney and her father is more than a little creepy. In fact, I’m waiting to see how much longer until Liz kills her mother, Lynne Cheney, and resolves the conflict once and for all?

I think Liz Cheney plans to run for political office.

She’s the next generation of nutcase Cheneys to wreck havoc on the country. And make no mistake, she’s every bit as insane and evil as her father.

  2. JollyRoger says:

With a “man” like “Deferment Dick” Cheney in the house, it’s no wonder Lynne wrote about lesbian prairie fantasies.

I’ve never seen a more f’d up bunch, and I have relatives living on Reservations, for Dog’s sake.

  3. Big Hank says:

    Good catch.

There’s definitely an Oedipus complex dynamic to the relationship between Liz and Dick. It is also unresolved and seems to form the basis for their public relationship.

  4. Walk on Socks says:

I hate to be vulgar but I am the only person who thinks Liz is fulfilling her mother’s marital duties with Papa Dick when the lights go down at night?

  5. No Nonsense says:

I also think their relationship is weird. Gosh I am glad it’s just not me

  6. libhomo says:

Can’t they just flee to Paraguy already?

  7. bradfrmphnx says:

    Out with Sarah…
    …in with Liz?

Is there no end to this from the right?

It’s in Obama’s court whether or not we’re going to restore credibility to the Constitution and what this nation once represented.

I understand the president has an ambitious agenda to pass but please explain how it isn’t in the better interest of the U.S. to at least investigate the people who orchestrated torture?

If we can investigate Bill Clinton’s blowjobs then we can certainly investigate torture.

  10. Raffi says:

The Cheney clan is sick. These people are beyond help. They remind me of Jerry Springer guests.

  11. Jenna Bush Stole My ID says:

Liz Cheney is a stupid bitch who doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about.

She needs to visit Daddy and do what she’s capable of doing — which is fellate him.

  12. Afrit007 says:

Technically, it’s an Electra relationship, since it’s father-daughter. But your point is still well made. She deserves to roast on the same spit as her cowardly traitor of a father.

  13. distributorcap says:

this bitch makes my skin crawl – worse than Palin, worse than Coulter………

  14. Rachel says:

Liz Cheney looks and sounds exactly like her mother, Lynne Cheney. It’s so strange but she seems to be doing a perfect study of her mother.
