Rep. Michelle Bachman (R-MN) continued to her stunning ignorance of American history by saying the Founding Fathers signed the Constitution and the Bill of Rights on the same day! Apparently having so little knowledge of even the most basic facts about the founding of our country that she doesn’t understand there were nearly two years between the Constitutional Convention and the drafting by the first Congress of the amendments that would later become the Bill of Rights and another two and a half years before the Bill of Rights were ratified. At this point, Bachmann has shifted the subject of her ranting from Obama’s secularism to taxes, making fear of taxation the reason for the Bill of Rights.
Who exactly is this loon and why did the people of her district of Minnesota vote to send her to Washington DC?
“why did the people of her district of Minnesota vote to send her to Washington DC?”
Forget that, the real question is why do they let her continue to drive a car?
Forget that, the real question is why do they let her continue to drive a car?
Forget that, the real question is why does she think you can get swine flu by eating fajitas?
This is just slightly better than her saying that the Obama administration is an “Orgy of Spending, and the Gov’t has spent its wad.” I fell out of my chair laughing. This from the woman who cozied up to Bush for a hug on the House Floor when he gave a State of the Union speech. GOP spending is good, Democrat spending is bad. Hmmm.
Like a good friend of mine always says “Stupid should hurt.” I bet she is going to be in a lot of pain in the next election.
Her district should recall Bachman. She’s a disgrace to the citizens of Minnesota. Unless, the citizens of Minnesota agree with her insane views? Is this the case?
Don’t blame the three colleges she attended. You can’t teach stupid.
Have you ever watched her being interviewed or commenting on any of the news channels. She maintains this rigid stare and shit eating grin that just creeps me out. While others are talking she is sitting there grinning.
I know there is not a lot to do in Minnesota besides hunt, fish, and root for the Vikings, but Michelle Bachman???
We need more women like her to stand up and fight for what is right. Doing the right thing is always the hardest thing to see and do.
You all will realize this one day, in the not to far future. I bet’ua
It takes wisdom, humility and a certain amount of intelligence to know what’s right. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Bachman.
How can we get funds to help keep her in office? She really works well with the fool in the White House. Talk about stupid.
