CBS’ Chip Reid is the president of the Dick “five deferrals” Cheney fan club and he doesn’t cotton to the Obama administration saying anything less than flattering about the former vice president and the architect of the Iraq war.

I knew Gibbs was going to take some heat for his comments when I saw this on Politico yesterday. Gibbs is great and his irritation with Cheney is understandable. Having also had my blood boil by the Cheney interview I can see why he responded the way he did initially. At least the exchange with Chip gave him a chance to explain in depth why Cheney is wrong.
Chip Reid should apply to work as Cheney’s assistant and get the hell out of the Washington Press Corps.
