MEMO TO BARRY: It’s Not Too Late to Find a New Vice President

On Monday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the incoming chairperson of the Senate Intelligence Committee, whined about President-elect Barack Obama not consulting her first before announcing Leon Panetta was his choice for CIA Director.

But the drama now hits closer to home.

Today, Vice President-elect Joe Biden shocked the political world by giving an interview where he sided with Feinstein against his new boss!

“I think it was just a mistake. I’m still a Senate man and I always think this way. I think it’s always good to talk to the requisite members of Congress.”

Ah, Joe, what the hell are you thinking? Or are you thinking? Your allegiance now should be to the President-elect. It’s not too late for Obama to find a more suitable running mate who doesn’t suffer from chronic diarrhea mouth.

  1. Aunt Peg says:

Biden has always had control issues.

I think this is one of the reasons people were worried about him working for the highly disciplined Obama.

They seem like oil and water in many ways.

  2. Dmitris says:

Frankly, Biden betrayed Obama by saying this. He had no business saying anything. If pressed about Panetta, all Biden had to say is, “He’s very qualified and capable,” then close his mouth.

  3. Walk on Socks says:

Obama needs to put a sock in Biden’s mouth.

This sort of outburst is really offensive and it shows a man who lacks the sort of self-control you need at the level Biden is prepared to operate at.

  4. Mauigirl says:

Agree with all of you – Biden just doesn’t know when to STFU!

  5. Nan Yun says:

Biden should be ashamed of himself.

He works for Barack Obama now and should be loyal to him and to the office of the presidency.

  6. JollyRoger says:

Eh-Obama knew what he was getting, and he bought into it anyway. Obama obviously thinks he’s worth it. I guess we’ll find out.

  7. libhomo says:

DiFi should STFU. This is the only halfway decent cabinet appointment Obama has made, and that rightist nutjob wants to scuttle it in favor of some lawbreaker.

  8. libhomo says:

Oh crap, now I look, and your previous post says that DiFi should STFU. I guess it was too good for either of us to pass up.
