Now that its a done deal and Pastor Rick Warren will assume the position of President-elect Obama’s spiritual adviser, the only question remaining is, what floor of the White House will Warren have his office?

    Put him in the dungeon.

  5. R.J. says:

The top floor, of course. Where else to put a jackass of God?

  6. Brigadoon says:

Oh, I like the dungeon idea. But alas, I think he will be on the first floor near the Oval Office so when Obama has a complicated social issue to think through, Pastor Warren will lead him all the way.

  7. I think they have an indoor pool that’s covered over… He can go in there…

  8. Walk on Socks says:

Obama seems to derive pleasure seeing people’s anger over Rick Warren. He is laughing at us.

I don’t get it. I feel manipulated and no one gets away with yanking my cord.

    Obama clearly can’t be trusted.

  9. Is it official at this point? I have not seen any news.

  10. snave says:

Warren’s ideology should have no place in our system of government. “Change” should mean working toward getting the fundamentalist influence out of government, and working toward secularizing the government, not churchifying it. Good grief, Barack… what are you thinking?

No, Scienceguy. It’s snark, at this point.

But since most preachers/pastors/ministers, who get an invite to perform the invocation, go onto be the president’s spiritual adviser, all eyes are watching to see how “official” the relationship becomes between Barry and Ricky.

There are two priests giving prayers at the inauguration.

And Reverend Lowery is in favour of gay marriage.
