Obama’s Choice for Invocation Did Pro-Prop 8 Ad

The news that President-elect Barack Obama asked preacher Rick Warren, an early and highly vocal supporter of California’s Proposition 8, to perform the inaugural invocation was a slap across the face of every gay person in the world who is struggle to achieve parity with our straight counterparts.

But don’t believe me — see it for yourself. In this YouTube video, you will see Warren speaking out in favor of Proposition 8.

    Believe it or not I am not angry. I think in the back of my mind I expected Obama to pull a stunt like this and guess what? I was correct. I’m glad to see the support button removed from your blog. Obama will pay a heavy price for this triangulating.

    Rick Warren is a purpose driven bigot. I hope someone boos him. I guess Obama has to do it. He smoked pot. That doesn’t mean he’ll try to legalize it. It’s a crappy world. We should all know that by now.
