Hillary’s Staff Creates ‘Whip Team’ to Quell Anti-Obama Hillbots

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

In an unusual move, Hillary Clinton’s staff is creating a 40-member “whip team” at the Denver Democratic convention to ensure that angry, disenfranchised Hillbots don’t engage in childish, anti-Obama demonstrations during the floor vote on her nomination, according to people familiar with the planning.

The team, which is being organized by longtime Clinton staffer Craig Smith, is working in conjunction with Obama’s floor organizers to help foster the image of a unified front during a roll-call process Clinton herself has described as an emotional “catharsis” for her disappointed supporters.

“If people get down there on the floor and want to start blowing kazoos and making a scene we want to make sure we’ve got people who stand in front of them with Obama signs,” said a person involved in the planning.

As I said at the end of the primary, Hillary’s supporters are also her worst enemies.

Let’s call them the STFU PUMA Squad. 🙂

  2. kellybelle says:

Kinky. Couldn’t she have called it the Squash It Squad or Hillary’s Harmonymongers? Whip team makes me think of slavery.

  3. Randy Arroyo says:

ROFL! You guys have the best names. I would just toss their pathetic asses in the Denver Pee-Dee’s holding cell and then put them on a Greyhound bus to Yuma, AZ — one way. These poor, lost women have the emotional maturity of a roofing nail.

  4. Rastamick61 says:

Kind of like that one set of cousins you hope to hell don’t hear about the Family reunion aren’t they ?

Hell’s bells we’re here for Hill Ya’ll !!! Now where’s the beer and the gals at and oh yeah howzabout that black feller too where’d he git to ?

  5. Mauigirl says:

Gotta hand it to Hill that her staff is trying to prevent a show of dis-unity. I’m surprised but happy to hear it. Hope it works.

  6. libhomo says:

Mauigirl: I think Clinton is hoping that Obama will lose without her being blamed for the loss. That puts her in a tenuous position.

  7. Gryphen says:

    Color me unimpressed.

Hillary could have put the kabash on this whole thing if she and Bill had not been such sore losers and had the class to come out and REALLY support Obama like the other one time candidates have done.

I think she is just afraid that if her people act like children, and Obama loses the election, she will get blamed. And she is damn right.

  8. feminazi says:

If the Hillbots act up the I’m an advocate for a police escort directly to jail. This is not Hillary’s Romper Room. It’s the Democratic National Convention and these idiot broads need a lesson in humility.

  9. Aunt Peg says:

What I hope to see is Obama’s supporters stand up when Hillary takes the stage and turn their backs to her.

She shouldn’t even be at this convention, as far as I’m concerned. She lost and Obama won. This isn’t her moment in the sun to show off her new facelift and hairdo.

  10. Harry says:

I think Randy is correct. Lock them up in the Denver PD’s jails until the hootenanny is over. Don’t put up with this whackos.

  11. Conejo1982 says:

I’ll go ya’ a step further.

These crazy bitches shouldn’t be allowed to enter the city of Denver during the convention.

All they want to do is to cause Obama headache.

  12. TOM339 says:

    I like Aunt Peg’s idea.

Imagine half the convention hall standing up and showing Hillary their backs when she sha-shays onto stage, giving the royal wave and braying, “Thank you, thank you my peeps.”

Like she thinks it’s her convention. Puke.

  13. Robert Rouse says:

As much as I dislike the woman, she at least has shown a little class over the past few weeks. Her avid – er, I mean – rabid supporters, on the other hand, are about as classless as it gets.

  14. fran says:

Hill’s a pill who fell flat on the vote
now she’ll attend the convention & gloat
will her presence sink the DNC boat?
