In an unusual move, Hillary Clinton’s staff is creating a 40-member “whip team” at the Denver Democratic convention to ensure that angry, disenfranchised Hillbots don’t engage in childish, anti-Obama demonstrations during the floor vote on her nomination, according to people familiar with the planning.
The team, which is being organized by longtime Clinton staffer Craig Smith, is working in conjunction with Obama’s floor organizers to help foster the image of a unified front during a roll-call process Clinton herself has described as an emotional “catharsis” for her disappointed supporters.
“If people get down there on the floor and want to start blowing kazoos and making a scene we want to make sure we’ve got people who stand in front of them with Obama signs,” said a person involved in the planning.
As I said at the end of the primary, Hillary’s supporters are also her worst enemies.

Mauigirl: I think Clinton is hoping that Obama will lose without her being blamed for the loss. That puts her in a tenuous position.

Hillary could have put the kabash on this whole thing if she and Bill had not been such sore losers and had the class to come out and REALLY support Obama like the other one time candidates have done.
I think she is just afraid that if her people act like children, and Obama loses the election, she will get blamed. And she is damn right.
If the Hillbots act up the I’m an advocate for a police escort directly to jail. This is not Hillary’s Romper Room. It’s the Democratic National Convention and these idiot broads need a lesson in humility.
What I hope to see is Obama’s supporters stand up when Hillary takes the stage and turn their backs to her.
She shouldn’t even be at this convention, as far as I’m concerned. She lost and Obama won. This isn’t her moment in the sun to show off her new facelift and hairdo.
I think Randy is correct. Lock them up in the Denver PD’s jails until the hootenanny is over. Don’t put up with this whackos.

Imagine half the convention hall standing up and showing Hillary their backs when she sha-shays onto stage, giving the royal wave and braying, “Thank you, thank you my peeps.”

As much as I dislike the woman, she at least has shown a little class over the past few weeks. Her avid – er, I mean – rabid supporters, on the other hand, are about as classless as it gets.
