A Frightening Newsweek Cover of Mama Grifter
After 80 years of publication, Newsweek will cease print copies and move to an all digital format.
Tina Brown, editor-in-chief, issued a statement that she anticipates staff reductions and streamlining of the editorial and business operations both here in the U.S. and internationally.
Newsweek’s move to an all digital format follows a number of major city newspapers available online only.

Maybe if Newsweek stopped featuring people like Sarah Palin on the cover more readers would fork over the fee to buy a copy of the magazine? Palin is last year’s news.
With al knowledge moving to a digital format, I always wonder what happens if humanity loses access to electricity?
Digital files we’re unable to open would be rendered useless. To some extent, they’re exploring this idea on NBC’s Revolution.
The only time I read a Newsweek or Time is when I fly. I buy an edition at the airport. Other than this, I never read them.
I know it’s nearly Halloween. Is that why you posted a fright mask on this blog piece?
