Jack Ass

Saturday, October 6, 2012

Friday’s news that unemployment in the U.S. had fallen to 7.8%, below 8% for the first time in 48 months was greeted enthusiastically — unless you’re a rightwing Republican who is the former CEO of General Electric.

76-year old Jack Welch immediately tweeted the 7.8% number was manipulated by a shadowy group of backroom political operatives in Chicago to makeup for President Obama’s horrendous debate performance last Wednesday.

Folks, either Welch has early onset Alzheimer disease or he’s been watching too much FOX News.

In either case, here’s the tweet for you to see:

Jack Welch is an old fool.

  2. Marcus Ybanez says:

Welch is betting against Obama and America.

It’s a sad day when a onetime, respected Titan of America is reduced to such stupid outbursts. This tweet sounds like something Sarah Palin would say.

  3. DMason says:

Welch is a disgrace. Go choke on your prunes.

  4. VicoDANIEL says:

I don’t know about the effects of early onset Alzheimer disease or FOX News but, there’s a huge percentage of Republicans who believe a lot of nutty shit about President Obama.

    1. he was born in Kenya
    2. he was born in Indonesia
    3. he’s a cocaine user
    4. he’s gay
    5. he won the 2008 by registering dead people

Take your pick. The conspiracy theorists will just naturally think evil President Obama manipulated and massaged the unemployment numbers in reaction to the debate. If Obama cured cancer, MS, diabetes and AIDS, these lunatics would still hate him. They resent a black man as president.

  5. Rachel says:

Good point, VicoDANIEL! Jack Welch is a Jobs Truther.

  6. fran says:

Yea, but let’s face it… Mitt would bring so many more jobs to the US… opening the floodgates for fracking, strip mining, oil drilling, coal– and look at all the spin off jobs of medical people & big pharma dealing w the cancers & ill health of those drinking toxic/polluted water, breathing coal dust, etc.
Just look at all the jobs a massive oil spill created!
Mitt’s biggest campaign contributors are the Wall Street crowd.
Sadly Big Bird, PBS & education will suffer cuts…. but Mitt has publicly promised to rev up the military industrial complex…. and openly talking about war with Iran.
War profiteers are salivating, and then there is the funeral industry, the body bag manufacturers….

  7. Estacada says:

Romney said he likes to “fire people.” He gets off by throwing men and women into financial chaos, harming them psychologically, hurting their families and children.

When will the mainstream media just say it? Romney is a sick motherfucker.

  8. The Real Adam says:

Jack Welch has joined Donald Trump. The pair are now the Mutt and Jeff of the GOP. Bitter old men who push bizarre conspiracy theories and in the process, look foolish and eccentric but somehow, sadly irrational and unsound.

Like the Rolling Stones sang, ‘What a drag it is getting old….”

  9. feminazi says:

Jack Welch is proof you don’t have to be smart to rise to the top in corporate America.

  10. Scott Dancer says:

Bill Clinton was resented by the power elite when he rose from Arkansas to become president.

However, the hatchet job the power elite have mounted against Barack Obama is unlike anything I can recall. They just make it up as they go along knowing the media can’t be bothered fact checking their bogus allegations.

Jack Welch is a fool. He’s joined the likes of Pat Boone, Andy Williams, Orly Taitz, Donald Trump and Herman Cain, to demonize President Obama and in the process, rewritten their own legacy.

  11. Bill Hussein O'Reilly says:

Did you hear Welch on Tweety’s show? Tweety asked Welch directly if he wanted to take it back but Welch said “no.” He’s a jobs truther. What a fucking dope.
