George W. Bush to Deliver Keynote Cayman Islands Investment Speech Just Days Before Election

Thursday, September 27, 2012

I’m not superstitious but I’m starting to think the universe is aligning to prevent Mitt Romney from becoming president.

George W. Bush (remember him?) is all set to deliver the keynote address at the Cayman Alternative Investment Summit on Grand Cayman just a few days before the presidential election.

Bush will be the keynote speaker on the first night.

The timing of the Caymans conference could prove awkward during an election season that’s been marked by speculation about Mitt Romney’s finances, particularly his secretive offshore investments in tax havens like the Cayman Islands.

No one knows for sure how many millions Mitt and Ann Romney have parked in the Cayman Islands but some financial experts speculate his deposits there are huge.

The event is open to the public. Registration paid between August 16th to October 15th is a mere $4,400 per person.

  1. Brigadoon says:

I hope the media covers this event. Let it be reminder that we do not need a man worth $250 million in the White House.

  2. Sally says:

Really? Bush is going to the Caymans? Before the election? That’s precious. How much money does he have stashed there?

  3. DMason says:

I’m sure Mitt would be in attendance but allegedly, he’s running for president. I bet one of his robot sons will go in his place.

  4. Matteo says:

Check out President Obama’s new 47% ad. It’s brutal.

  5. Estacada says:

The longer this race goes on, the less the American people like Mitt Romney.

With Romney’s refusal to reveal how much money he and Ann have socked away in tax havens in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland, and the American people struggling to climb out of the Great Recession, Romney looks more and more like a European King.

  6. Seabec says:

David – I bet Mitt sends a video. These are his peeps.

  7. hipolito says:

Round up the rich and feed them to the fishes. They’re useless. Is that harsh?

  8. Zarathustra says:

I thought G.W.B was dead….. They didn’t even invite him to the Convention this year….. Whoops, I guess they’ve realized what a disaster he was to this country.

  9. fran says:

    Timing is everything!

Leave it to “The Decider” to stumble into yet another major blunder.

  10. Joe in Colorado says:

Bush is a prick. An epic prick who only became president because five banana Republicans in black robes on the U.S. Supreme Court decided to stop counting ballots in Miami-Dade and hand him the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

  11. Zarathustra says:

Amen, to everything you said Joe in Colorado…..Sadly, I live in Palm Beach County, having moved there from New York, only two months previous to that ”stolen” election, in the home of the hanging ‘chad’… where BUSHIT’s brother, Jeb, the Governor of Florida at the time & the ‘wrong-winged’ Not very Supreme Court that the first BUSHIT appointed, conspired to rig, and steal that election…… I was sickened by the whole thing….. And my queasiness about having a ‘RETARD’ as President, was well deserved…. as the ‘Retard’ took US into two unncessary wars and bankrupted not only our treasury, but also our Democracy, all at the same time…….

  12. Zarathustra says:

Say, BUSHIT, stay in the Cayman Islands….. why don’t ya, No one here wants to see your ass ever again!!!!
