President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” remark hasn’t bothered small business owners as much as Mitt Romney’s outrageous, plutocratic statement that half the country are government-depend moochers.

According to a new poll from the George Washington University School of Political Management and Thumbtack.com, a whopping 47% of small business owners say they plan to vote to give President Obama a second term, compared to 39% who plan to vote for Mitt Romney – a margin of 10%.

Researchers polled more than 6,000 small business owners, and the group of respondents, similar of gender, business size and business age.

Let’s review. Mitt Romney has insulted women, gays, Hispanics, the elderly, the disabled, the poor, immigrants, the British, and the Palestinians.

That said, the only group Romney hasn’t insulted is the 1%, millionaires and billionaires. Little wonder small business owners, the foundation of the U.S. economy, are smart enough to recognize who has their backs and who doesn’t.

Romney is no friend to small business owners.

  2. Unconditional1 says:

R&R are ridiculous choices for GOP White House candidates. What a joke! The GOP always has been narrow-minded, greedy, focused on being the opposite of whatever the Dems. were supporting…but they used to be intelligent! Now it seems the GOP party produces candidates who are, well…, “they may be dumb, but they do poor work!”

Small business owners aren’t stupid. Both my brother and sister are small business owners and both of them plan to vote to reelect President Obama in November. Add small business owners to the list of people who have no use for Romney’s BS.

“Small business? I’m not familiar with small business but it sounds like a commie institution.” – Willard “Thurston Howell” Romney
