Ryan Running House Re-Election Ads While Running for Veep

John Galt objectively wants his government job back

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-OH), Mitt Romney’s vice presidential running mate plans to begin airing ads in Wisconsin asking voters to reelect him to an eighth House term that he won’t have to serve should he become vice president.

AP reports:

“The Ryan congressional ads start in the same week as presidential ticket mate Mitt Romney’s commercials went on air in Wisconsin, although the cost for the two sets of ads are drawn from different campaign accounts. Wisconsin law allows Ryan to seek both offices simultaneously but only serve in one if he wins the pair.”

Maybe he can run for Janesville, OH city council? After all, the only employment Paul Ryan has ever held other than burger flipper in college involves sucking off the government’s teat. Employment in the private sector is foreign to him.

Romney won’t be the next president. I repeat. Romney won’t be the next president.

  4. Seabec says:

Wouldn’t it be the sweetest gift of all if John Galt loses his bid for president and his race to retain his House seat? Fingers crossed.

  5. Zarathustra says:

Paul Ryan should be running for ”Dog Catcher”

  6. feminazi says:

I guess Ryan is brimming with confidence over the ticket he’s part of?
