Mitt Romney is feeling the pangs of desperation. With the 2012 presidential barely more than 90 days from now, and the polls showing President Obama comfortably ahead in the polls, the Republican nominee has been reduced to saying the president is governing like a foreigner.
In an exchange with CNBC’s radical rightwing anchor, Larry Kudlow, Romney said the following:
KUDLOW: What do you think it means? Do you think this is Obama anti-business, anti-entrepreneur, or do you think maybe he has been treated unfairly?
ROMNEY: Well, I just read the whole speech. I found the speech even more disconcerting than just that particular line. The context is worse than the quote. It’s a very strange and in some respects foreign to the American experience type of philosophy. His [Obama's] whole philosophy is an upside-down philosophy that does not comport with the American experience.
