Westboro Baptist Church to Protest Elizabeth Taylor’s Funeral

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Fresh off its recent Supreme Court First Amendment victory, the Westboro Baptist Church says it will protest legendary Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral.

Taylor, who died yesterday at the age of 79, was a unapologetic supporter of LGBT rights, marriage equality, and a trailblazing AIDS advocate.

Margie Phelps, made announcement via her Twitter account, vomiting:

“Hello rebels! RIP Elizabeth Taylor is in hell as sure as you’re reading this and getting mad as a wet hen. She should’ve obeyed God. Too late!. No RIP Elizabeth Taylor who spent her life in adultery and enabling proud fags. Westboro will picket funeral!”

The self-proclaimed “God Hates Fags” hate group, who masquerades as a legitimate church, was recently handed a resounding First Amendment rights victory by the U.S. Supreme Court and vowed to quadruple their hate-protests.

The WBC won’t be stopped until a counter protestor shows up with a .22 and fires a few rounds into them, taking Freddy Frepper and his daughter out. Then the message will go out to the haters, hate at your own risk. I wonder if the SCOTUS will uphold the rights of the counter protestor? After all, it’s a Second Amendment right to own guns.

  2. Walk on Socks says:

Shit, there are only what? 12, 15 of them?

A raid fire machine gun could take the entire Westboro congregation out in 10 seconds and reduce them to a bloody pile of blood and feces.

    Works for me.

  3. s1Kirk says:

I understand the anger the gay community feels for the Westboro Baptist Church and the hate they spew but, violence never solves anything. If you advocate shooting them when they protest funerals, then you’re lowering yourself to their level.

    Love conquers all!

    s1Kirk – Go fuck yourself.

The fucking Westboros….. they did that at a U in Wisconsin, memorial service for three students who had died in a house fire. En mass about five thousand students marched toward them, clapping their hands and chanting, ” Not today, Not today.” The Westboros fled. They are the most vile of folks…. and calling them folks is streaching.

  6. liz says:

Anything for attention.. am sure there will be hundreds of people walking up to them and driving them back. The nerve to disrupt someone’s funeral attended by family and friends, who loved this woman. And who are they to pass judgement ??? God forgives ALL sin. Does He not?
They are more disgusting and vile than what they view Elizabeth Taylor was.. most definately. Hope they do not show up as they will definately get their arses kicked

  7. CriticalEyes says:

Can I get the permission from the Supreme Court to run some of these a-holes down with an 18 wheeler?

  8. A funeral isn’t the time to protest holding placards painted with vile slogans.

But the US Supreme Court disagree and said such behavior is nothing more than people exercising their First Amendment right to free speech.

I didn’t realize in the post-9/11 era and under a Justice Roberts High Court inciting is the new standard for what defines “free speech?”

If so, the student who flipped George W. Bush the “bird” should have their records expunged.

  9. combscp says:

These people are awful, and the more we talk about them the more emboldened they become.

  10. Tu Wog says:

Why would the god of your church (and all churches)-satan want you to picket a funeral?

  11. CriticalEyes says:

Too bad you Westboro Mother-Fu*kers…………. In case you didn’t know, Elizabeth Taylor was Jewish. That requires that she be buried as soon as possible after her death. You Mother-fu*kers are too late!

  12. These people are awful, and the more we talk about them the more emboldened they become.

I think the SCOTUS decision “emboldened” the Westboro Baptist thugs more than we could ever hope to.
