Everyone knows Glenn Beck really hates Van Jones — the co-founder of the advocacy group Color of Change, and the driving force behind the successful advertiser boycott of Beck’s FOX News program.
It all started after Beck accused President Obama of having a “deep-seated hatred for white people.” Color of Change began calling on sponsors to pull their ads from Beck’s show in response. To date, 62 advertisers, from Proctor and Gamble, to Bank of America, and the Men’s Wearhouse, decided to disassociate themself from the Beck circus hour.
This graphic proves the sad state of Glenn Beck’s drop in advertising revenue:

The chart clearly puts to rest FOX’s lie (as well the lies of Rupert Murdock’s buddies on CNBC), who claim the ads will just be shifted around the network, so the boycott isn’t costing the FOX anything. However, at some point the economics of the boycott can no longer be ignored by the bean counters at the network and even Murdock will have to fess up to the fact that the loss of 62 advertisers is having an impact on the network’s bottomline. The 5PM hour — where Beck’s program airs is considered primetime in cableland. Glenn Beck can’t survive forever on local house ads for used cars and penis enlargers creams.

It serves a guy who allegedly raped and murdered a young girl in 1990 right. I don’t know why anyone would want to advertise with this (supposed) monster.
If it is true that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young girl in 1990, what kind of message does FOX send by keeping him on the air? Don’t they care about young girls over at FOX???
Good.
Unfortunately, Faux News will be subsidized by other News Corp properties like FX, the Wall St. Journal, and your local Fox Network station. We need to stop patronizing all of Rupert Murdoch’s evil media empire.
When Glenn Beck was on CNN, he had virtually no ratings — fewer than 20,000 a day but, CNN kept him on air for more than a year.
Of course, CNN didn’t have the controversy to deal with that Fox is facing, so they ran house ads and national ads during Beck’s show.
Fox on the other hand, isn’t generating revenue from Beck’s show and I think this could become a serious problem when his contract comes up.
Glenn Beck will be around after a nuclear war falls the rest of humanity. He’s like a cockroach. Nothing kills off a cockroach. Even the lack of ad revenue.
For some reason, I don’t feel like crying at his loss of ad revenue.
Glenn Beck does a poor impersonation of radio conspiracy freak Alex Jones. If Alex Jones suddenly died, who would Beck follow then? Jeff Rense?
Beck would still have Hal Turner if Jones went away.
