Nancy Pelosi Comes Out of Hibernation

Sunday, January 18, 2009

Hibernation, noun
– the act of retiring into inactivity; “he emerged from his hibernation to make his first appearance in several years”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday on “Fox News Sunday” that she was open to pursuing investigations of abuses by the Bush Justice Department.

“I think that we have to learn from the past and we cannot let the politicizing, for example, of the Justice Department, to go unreviewed. Past is prologue. We learn from it.”

Pelosi told host Chris Wallace she thought the Obama administration would be open to scrutinizing the Bush White House, as House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers has urged.

“I don’t think Mr. Obama and Mr. Conyers are that far apart. I want to see the truth come forward.”

I’d be surprised and pleasantly so, if that rat ever came to face his accusers. Somehow, someway the GWB file will get swept under the governmental carpet along with the JFK files, UFO files, and WMD files. I don’t really care so long as he and the rest of his family disappears from the American political scene. Its time to turn the page of politics in this country.

Pelosi can’t take back, “impeachment is off the table.”

I don’t care if she dances topless at the inaugural ball. She will have these five words in the first paragraph of her obituary when she dies.

    She’s useless.

It’s easy to jab a vicious dog once it’s safely back behind a chain link fence.

Anyone can do that. And Arizona, thanks for making me sick to my stomach with the imagery of seeing Pelosi’s droopy tatas.

If Pelosi means what she says, she can appoint a House Judiciary Committee group to take up the cause on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 to begin looking into judicial excesses and wrongdoing by the Bush administration. Tell the group she wants a report on her desk by Memorial Day. This isn’t rocket science — it’s leadership and personally, I have seen nothing from this socialite to suggest she’s a leader.

It would be foolish for anyone to do anything substantive until a couple of days later when Bush is out of office. Can you say, “pardons”?

    I knew you could.

  6. Harry says:

I just can’t accept the thought of these evil doers going free. Obama must look at criminal prosecution of the Bush administration.

  7. stradella says:

Nanny Pelosi can go fuck herself.

Since Nov. 2006, all this bitch has done is given her pal, George Bush, a pass and a ‘Get Out Jail Free’ card. Now that his last 48 hours are here she’s decided to grow a pair and is talking tough?

Please honey. Go get your hair done and have lunch with the girls in your office.

  8. VicoDANIEL says:

The weak links in the chain after Tuesday’s change of power isn’t President-elect Obama: it’s the Democratic leadership of Pelosi and Reid.

Of course, how many of us have said this about Pelosi ever since she became Speaker? Time after time, when she had the opportunity and the duty of her office to oppose Bush on the war, instead, she buckled and became Bush’s assistant.

Recently, she and Barney Frank stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Henry Paulson and helped push through the $800 billion dollar bailout without an inch of transparency for the American taxpayer.

She’s perfectly dreadful and a terrible excuse for a Speaker.

I still can’t believe the voters of San Francisco reelected Pelosi?

What were they thinking? Or were they thinking?

Geez Nancy, you think it’s safe to come out now?
