Thursday, December 4, 2008

Soon-to-be former President George W. Bush has purchased a $2.07 million dollar estate in the Preston Hollow district of Dallas, TX.

The palatial house (seen here) sits on a cul-de-sac and sits on 1.13 acres and has 8,501 square feet of living space and is located at 10141 Daria Place, Dallas TX.

This is the second home Bush has purchased in recent years.

I reported that in October, 2006, Bush purchased an isolated 100,000 acre ranch over the Acuifero Guarani aquifer in Paraguay – a favored escape route for convicted Nazi war criminals following WWII.

  • arent WE lucky – propping up the sagging housing market

How the hell did you get the address?

I saw the report in the local paper today and even they didn’t have the address to publish yet! Well, I clicked the link to the picture and the house looks like Buckingham Palace.

It’s good to know Bush isn’t a commoner after all.

  • I love how one has to drive a mile and half to get to get to the front door.

Only a palace for a king.

  • I bet his neighbors will be hating life, with all the Secret Service inconveniences. Watch the property values plummet.

  • What a pity for his new neighbors.

  • There goes the neighborhood!

  • Estacada

It will be interesting to see what happens to the property values of the neighborhood after the Shrub and Pickles move in.

Since he’s so unpopular — even back home and the media and security attention that will take place with them in residence, it could spell disaster for homeowners.

My guess is, longtime residents will resent their arrival.

  • Did the folks in Crawford run him out of town???

  • Wow, that storage shed in the upper left corner of that shot sure can hold a lot of booze and Xanax.
