Hillary Clinton in Deep Denial

Wednesday, May 7, 2008

Hillary Clinton is behind in the popular vote, behind in the delegate count, out of money and out of political momentum. But none of this matters.

Today she told a crowd of fawning loyalists in West Virginia that she isn’t going anywhere.

From the Politico:

At a Q&A in Shepherdstown, WV, Hillary Clinton continues to make the case that her base, working class whites, women, and Hispanics are the key swing voters.

“The base I’ve put together in this primary is a stronger place to start from,” she says. She’ll run, she says, “until there’s a nominee.”

ALSO: In an email to supporters, she writes to express “my personal determination to keep forging forward in this campaign.”

After our come-from-behind victory in Indiana, there are just 28 days of voting left. But we’ve never campaigned with the stakes as high or the time as short as they will be over the next four weeks.
As we enter the final 28 days of voting, I know you’ll give it everything you’ve got. And you know I will do the same.

The time has come for party elders and superdelegates; Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to step-up and put an end to Hillary’s madness.

Hillary Clinton is a damned nutcase.

She belongs in a mental institution where she is free to weave yarns and invent her personal, fictional history.

There are 230 or 235 undecided superdelegates, correct?

If Democratic leaders want to put a sock in Hillary’s mouth, all that needs to happen is tell them to declare their support for Obama. He is, after all, the front runner.

I understand there is the fear of a backlash against the party if Hillary ends her campaign too soon, thus alienating the states yet to vote but there comes a time to assess the damage she presence is having on Barack Obama in the minds of the voters.

    I have a dumb question?

Who is doing Hillary’s senate job (Barack’s as well) while they are running for president? I always thought being a member of Congress was a full time job? Is it only 20 hours a week?

  • Hitler was as driven with a desire for power and dominance and look what he did to Germany because of it.

“Come from behind” victory? In what twisted stupid universe does she live where she thinks she “won” a “come from behind” victory? If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t she projected to take Indiana–by as much as 6 points?

And what did she win by?

    Oh, yeah–ONE point.

    Bitch *crazy*.

  • She is delusional..no reality….is she Narcisstic…egomanical….there is not any way the math or the money supports WHAT she is doing….she could leave now and end this with Some cough….dignity intact….but she is hurting the party…

Even Hillary’s BFF, DiFi, said today Hillary’s refusal to accept reality and fold her tent is having a negative impact on the party and its chance come November and DiFi is a Hillary supporter.

  • GO HILLARY!!!! GO HILLARY!!!!

    I just LOVE her!!!! Yeah!!!

I’m taking up a collection to get Hillary out of this, poor old woman. It should be obvious to everyone by now that she suffers from Battered Woman Syndrome. She knows her controlling, sociopathic husband will kill her if she tries to leave. We have to rent a car and pick her up on the street somewhere, maybe put her up in a motel until we can get her into a shelter. I understand she’s worried about her debts, but we can help with that, yeah? It’s no reason for her to go on getting publicly beaten and humiliated for her sicko husband’s gratification. She needs to get into a safe house now. I’m in for five bucks. I’ll get that back from her at the pump, anyways, yeah?

Oh, and there’s now a hundred thousand dead in Myanmar. Here’s a quick list of aid organizations, where you can donate online. Please. Thanks.

Respectfully Jenn, I think the only place Hillary will be going is back to the senate. Her presidential bid is DOA and Obama will be our nominee and thank goodness for that!

GO HILLARY!!! GO FAR, FAR AWAY, HILLARY!!!

  • Hillary Clinton is not a poor old woman.

I think we need to NOT bash a fellow Democrat.

Don’t give the Repukes any ammunition. When she ends up throwing her support AND supporters to Senator Obama, the Repukes will use the awful words we threw at her to denigrate Senator Obama. Example: “Poor old woman, Senator Hillary Clinton,” or “Crazy woman, Senator Hillary Clinton” now supports Barack Obama.”

We must be united. The conservative Supreme Court is already putting in place laws to disenfranchise poor, disabled, and elderly Democratic Party voters, see: Indiana voter ID card.

We must be united in order to completely and devastatingly defeat John McCain and what his party party stands for.

We MUST be united to give Senator Obama a HUGE mandate to root out all the criminals in this awful administration that have done so much to shame this country for the last 8 years.

    GOBAMA!

  • Yes, we must unite behind Obama, and Hillary needs to get out, now. I hope the party “elders” urge those superdelegates to get off the fence sooner than the end of the month. But one way or another I think it will be over in about 3 weeks even if they wait until then. In the meantime I think we’re stuck listening to her campaign rhetoric. However, I think she’ll be careful not to be bashing Obama now, as she knows she will need him if she wants to play a role in the new administration.

Billary are finished, as Democrats. After the election, they will be crossing the aisle to join the Republicans, and the David Duke wing, at that. After her latest comments aimed at lowlife hillbilly rednecks in Appalachia, reminding them they are WHITE and she is WHITE and WHITE people vote for WHITE candidates only, I doubt she will hold her NY job much longer. She’s puke herself.

If the bitter little old ladies want to vote for McCain out of spite, fine. Then they’re not really Dems either. Good luck with your Social Security under the RINOs&DINOs. With or without them, Obama is going to slaughter that old fool McNuts.

It’s so funny to hear Billarites begging us to go easy on her for the good of the Party, and why can’t we all just get along, and let’s not be intemperate, blablabla. Too late for that.

Ask Hillary why she let Bill push it all in this direction. Obama can’t say all this, but I can, and I will. If they don’t like it, let them join their DINO friends in the Repukelickin’ minority. Their day is over. Guess Billary never got the memo, like they missed the one on the war, or the next war with Iran that they & McCain are planning.

I meant what I said about Bill abusing her, the Party and the electorate. That would be her only excuse. That’s my olive branch: Repudiate Bill and get treatment, Hill. But don’t ever run as a Democrat again. Cuz ya ain’t one.

Yeah!, HRC is the candidate for all women in serious denial. Whether it’s their personal lives or careers, just keep marching forward with your blinders on and shut out reality and the rest of the world and let bitterness be your fuel! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Hillary is not stupid. She’s devisive. She knows she has no chance of getting the nomination in 2008. If Obama wins the presidency, her next chance to be the first woman president will be in 2016 when she’ll be 68 years old. She’s holding onto false hopes now in order to campaign against Obama in the remaining primaries, in effect, campaigning for McCain. If McCain wins, she’ll have a better chance of being the nominee in 2012. She’s deliberately selling out the Democratic Party, and the American people who need real change in our government for the sake of her own personal ambitions. The woman has no class at all.
