Hillary’s Pigheadedness “Doing More Harm than Good”

A growing number of Democrats believe that the continuing contest between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is “doing more harm than good” for the Democratic Party.

Six in ten - 62 percent - of the Democrats surveyed by the Gallup Poll over the last weekend said so. That’s up from 56 percent in late March.

This is particularly true among Democrats who support Obama, Gallup’s Frank Newport reports - “this is no doubt because Obama is the current leader in both the popular vote… and the overall delegate count. Continuing to campaign has very little upside potential for Obama and a lot of downside potential — as may be occurring now, with Obama having to deal with continuing controversies surrounding his relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Fewer Clinton supports believe so.

“Given that Clinton’s only realistic chance of winning the nomination is to continue to campaign and hope events will help convince superdelegates to switch and vote for her, this pattern is not surprising,” notes Newport, editor-in-chief of the Gallup Poll.

We’ll see if Hillary’s kitchen sink approach is helping her or hurting Obama in North Carolina and Indiana. My guess is, it will ultimately be the kiss of death for her campaign. I talk about the election to everyone: neighbors, people at the supermarket, my friends, my doctor, his nurses, and what I hear is a chorus of opinion that says Hillary Clinton is a negative drain on the electorate and her refusal to accept reality is only helping John McCain.

There isn’t enough gold in Fort Knox to convince the remaining, undecided superdelegates to upset the race and vote for Hillary Clinton. It’s not going to happen. Gore, Pelosi, Carter and Joe Andrew are all going to Barack Obama’s column and their influence alone will herd the pack toward him. Too bad Hillary is so stupid that she can’t see this.

Where do you manage to find this Hill-A-Rious images of the Borg Queen? This one looks like she’s wearing a KFC bucket upside down on her head. An instant classic! I agree with the general opinion of the 62% of people polled. This battle isn’t helping the Democrats and I hope it doesn’t turn off the undecideds.

If Hillary can’t have then she’s determined to ruin any hopes for Obama to be the nominee. She’s a petty, self-centered bitch and what Hillary cares about is Hillary.

Not a Democratic victory in November.

  • California Dreamin’, tell us how you REALLY feel! Just kidding. You’re right, unfortunately.
And that is an AWESOME picture!

  • We won Guam! Let the streak begin!

  • this picture might hurt the Hulk’s feelings….( jus kiddin’ …very funny)…I am soooo sick of her….and her antics….wow guam was sooo close…see Every VOTE really does count….

News Flash for Frank Newport — she has absolutely NO realistic chance of winning the nomination.

If the Democratic party allows one its candidates to win the nomination solely on the basis of tearing down and destroying a fellow Democrat (who’s won fair and square and raised more money than any candidate ever) then it’s time for the Democratic party to fade into history.

But I agree with Brigadoon — that’s NOT going to happen. But the party needs to rally and unite behind Obama and his message, and send the Clintons on a long cruise around the world until…oh, say, mid-November.

I have said for months that her campaign is about destroying Obama’s hopes of winning. She hates him.

  • I despise Hillary Clinton more with each thing she does. Whether it is minority voter suppression or threatening to nuke Iran, Hillary Clinton is one of the nuttiest rightist Republicans ever.
