Hillary Clinton spoke to reporters today holding two mailers in her hand, seething with rage and animatedly chastised her rival Barack Obama. The has been circulated weeks ago and were reminiscent of the “Harry and Louise” ads that ran in the early ’90s. One of the mailers quoted Clinton saying that NAFTA was a “boon.”
The New York senator waved the mailers back and forth, shouting how she was:
“Deeply disappointment that Obama is continuing to send false and discredited mailings with information that is not true to the voters of Ohio. He [Obama] continues to spend a million dollars perpetuating falsehoods that is not the new politics the speeches are about. It is not hopeful, it is destructive. Shame on you, Sen. Obama.”
No, Sen. Clinton, shame on you and shame on your husband, former president Bill Clinton.
For it is your campaign that played the race card in South Carolina by suggesting Barack Obama had as much a chance of winning the Palmetto state as did Jesse Jackson a decade ago. It is your campaign that suggested Obama’s campaign is nothing more than a fairy tale.
No wonder Sen. Clinton is acting crazy. After losing every state primary and caucus race since Super Tuesday, her frustration is reaching a fever pitch.

There is something scary about Hillary’s demeanor these days. She no longer seems like a tough policy wonk. Nowadays she looks and sounds angry and a bot unbalanced. I wouldn’t leave my nieces and nephews alone with her when I went shopping for food. She’s morphed into a frightening creature.

I pity Bill having to live with her. She must make his life a living hell.

I am sick and tired of the Clintons and I want them to get the hell out of town.
They’ve become a staggeringly negative force in the Democratic party and the use by Billyboy of the race card is the type of shit you would’ve expected from Richard Nixon back in 1970 — not 2008.

“Hillary working on endorsement from the Easter Bunny, all her eggs in one basket tactics are cracking.”
Presently the only urgent emotion I feel escalating is the pity and sympathy I have for HRC supporters. Millions of us who have voted for Obama in our primaries and caucuses can move on and over the slights she sends to the public by stating only big or certain states matter simply because we have confidence in our candidate. In a race where our two candidates hold many similar positions I think we need to recognize there is a vital difference in how they regard their supporters. HRC has carelessly spent campaign money on lavish hotel rooms, catered food and platters?, over $10,000 for pizza and $1,200 on donuts not to mention the exorbitant amount on her strategists and staff, etc. who have guided her down the path to failure and desperation, still dragging their heels on campaign debts yet to be paid for rent and catering, so where is the fiscal responsibility or basic economics in this infrastructure? I wonder how her donors feel, especially those middle class people she’s so willing to fight for and those making less than $50,000. I also think of all those who voted for her in states that went to Obama, how they must feel when their candidate does not acknowledge their efforts. When their importance seems to only be validated by a win and in some cases her appearances in some states were barely found if at all worthy of her presence. How then would you have faith that she would fight for you day in and day out, everyday from dawn to dusk and that she really cares, well she said it herself…words don’t matter. “I am honored/shame on you!” bi polar, menopausal or desperate?
For all the HRC supporters I upset, go donate some more of your hard earned money to pay Penn, posh hotel rooms, pizza & platters you nor she can afford, because no matter how wealthy a person may be squandering is insulting.
I have read where many HRC supporters would be happy to vote for either candidate eventually. I strongly beg to differ, I will not vote for HRC for president no matter how much ballyhooed experience she has. Her most recent experiences have me pitying her and her supporters.
BTW Why so shy on disclosing those tax returns Hillary?

I just got home from the mall, so I missed this entire episode in the latest Clinton Drama Chronicles.
You know, my wife originally supported Hillary and she was so happy to have lived long enough to see a woman run for, and have a decent chance of getting elected president. I got it and I was sorry to see her become less and less enchanted with Hillary as this campaign dragged on. Now, she’s switched support and back Barack 100% but I really think she wanted to support a woman.
I tell her, wait until 2012 oe 2016. There are better Democratic women waiting to throw their hat into the race.

Hillary is a monster. She’s shrill, angry and she clearly hates men. I agree 100% with Stradella. I just want the Clintons to go away. We’ve moved on but the Clintons still think the Democratic party revolves around them.

Bad day in South Texas.
Texas Rep. Aaron Pena, the director of outreach for the Clinton campaign in the Rio Grande Valley, was spotted dancing on the grass at an Obama rally.
“I will maintain my commitment,” the lawmaker told the Rio Grande Guardian. “But it appears to be increasingly evident who’s going to win.”
Everybody loves a winner.

As the USA becomes less European white and becomes more multi-cultural with huge increases in population arriving from Mexico, Central America and Asia, the southwest region is quickly emerging as politically influential. Populations in the southwest are reflective of overall migration trends. These demographics are educated and upwardly mobile and don’t feel any patronage to political dynasties like the families Clinton or the Bush family.
Perhaps, this is no more true than in the state of Texas where the population is largely Hispanic, then African American and finally white. Texas has the second largest population after California and is young. Obviously, this benefits Barack Obama and works against Hillary Clinton. Young Hispanics in Texas don’t feel any loyalty to the Clintons and unlike their parents, don’t think they owe either party automatic support.
Democratic Hispanic communities in the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada are difficult for old school campaigns like that of Hillary Clinton to grab ahold of and win over. They were born into a different world than that of their parents. As a group, they represent 15% of the population now and are now the largest block of minority voters, surpassing African-Americans.
Candidates of both parties can’t afford to lose by this critical demographic and hope to win the White House. Perhaps, the lesson of the 2008 presidential race is the passing of the torch from old school Democrats to new school Democrats. This reality is apparently lost on Hillary Clinton and understood perfectly by Barack Obama.

I think the Democratic primary will be wrapped up on March 4th.
We should have our candidate that night and I am confident his name will be Barack Obama.

I still haven’t forgiven Bill Clinton for pushing NAFTA, the WTO, and trade normalization through Congress.
+ at 11:03 pm
I think this was her “Howard Dean scream”.
She’s done.

I might add LibHomo, Bill Clinton gave us DOMA and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, too. He only gets a C+ in my book. I understand why people want Hillary to be elected. They think she will usher in a 3rd Bill Clinton term. I don’t agree. I think she’s far more conservative than her husband. I hope Hillary isn’t elected.

Just got back from Obama’s Cleveland rally. He was great! When he mentioned that some call his ideas a “fairytale” the crowd booed Clinton in absentia. Yay!
+ at 11:34 pm
Kellybelle – LMAO. Now that is funny! I’ve been “booing” Mrs. Clinton since she voted for Bush’s war.

Millions of people out of work because of the Clinton pushed NAFTA.
Are we to forget just who shoved NAFTA down our throats, and who campaigned vigorously for it’s passage?
+ at 12:13 am
Hillary wants to take credit for Bill’s time in the White House. She can take credit, then, for NAFTA.

Wow….honored-to-shame moment…what the hell was in HER coffee…sheeez….scarier than batshit in a pantsuit….
WOW…..but I also saw the OTHER foottage of this event on TV here ( from a different camera angle)…and they showed the people’s reaction- disgust, shock, and also looking down or away…and YES People Leaving the ROOM!!!!
So going “Negative” means going NUTS…???

desparation is only attractive if you are Eva Longoria. i just hope she goes gently into the good night on March 4
+ at 8:54 am
I just hope March 4th really is the end of her ugly campaign. The pundits keep saying we should never underestimate the Clintons. They’re calculating and ruthless SOB’s.

Christopher, I have a question for you.
To your knowledge, has Hillary Clinton ever publicly uttered the words, “Shame on you” to anybody else….you know….like someone who actually deserved it?
Like…
Alberto Gonzalez – “Shame on you for torturing.”
George Bush – “Shame on you for lying about the intelligence leading up to the Iraq War.”
Osama Bin Laden — “Shame on you for killing so many innocent people in my home state.”
Dick Cheney — “Shame on you for outing a CIA agent — and double shame for everything else you and Bush have done to our country.”
So much shame to go around….and yet, when I did a bit of google research, I could find no such harsh words from Hillary to these people. All I found was Bill’s recent “shame on you” to a CNN reporter.
I just wondered if you, Christopher — with your vast political knowledge and experience — could remember any time when Hillary Clinton uttered words of shame toward anyone else.
+ at 4:20 pm
I think Paul’s comment about this being her Howard Dean scream moment is on the money…
+ at 4:52 pm
Hi Winnie,
Thanks for the props. I don’t think I have vast political knowledge but, thank you.
To your question, I am unaware of Hillary Clinton using this particular language against anyone else in politics. Even tiny Rick Lazio, the unfortunate GOP guy who was her rival in the race for the senate was spared such language.
I think Hillary is just falling apart and as the mask is pulled back, the person revealed is vile, nasty and mean. They say the camera doesn’t lie. The camera suggested Hillary was one tough cookie but her people always denied it.
I think we’ve now seen the essential Hillary Clinton.
+ at 5:33 pm
Thanks, Christopher, for your response.
I don’t know if anyone else here is a Jane Austen or Pride and Prejudice fan, but after Hillary’s tirade all I could think was that Hillary had a Lady Catherine de Bourgh moment.
It seemed a fitting analogy, especially since I think much of Hillary’s ire is coming from her sense of entitlement as what she sees as her place in one of American’s ruling families.
