Hillary Clinton’s campaign today requested the resignation of a second Iowa volunteer coordinator who forwarded a hoax e-mail saying Barack Obama is a Muslim possibly intent on destroying the United States.
Obama is a member of the United Church of Christ and says he has never been a Muslim, but false rumors attempting to tie him to Islamic jihadists are circulating on the Internet.
“Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential Candidacy,” read the e-mail. “Please forward to everyone you know. The Muslims have said they Plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at The highest level.”
The Clinton campaign — once busted, played “good cop, bad cop,” and decried the rumors as offensive and outrageous. But the nagging question remains: how man other Clinton campaign workers are working behind the scenes to fabricate false stories about Barack Obama who haven’t been discovered and dealt with? Is this the tip of the iceberg?

I am not surprised. You know, forgetting for a moment what her politics may or may not be, what I am most acutely aware of his her political acumen.
And this is about politics and politics is about power. That and the need to do whatever it takes to get to the objective.
What a disgrace. I am more and more reminded that I need to get two movies from Netflix- one is the Contender with Joan Allen and the other is an oldie, The Seduction of Joe Tynan with Alan Alda.
There is no bottom to the bottomless pit of sheer ambition.
And that has very little to do with serving any kind of common good.

Bingo! These are the email smears that have become known and thus forced HRC’s hand to react and fire the miscreants. But how many more have surfaced in other cities, towns and states that haven’t garnered the attention these two received? Hillary and Bill rose to power by playing the high stakes, winner takes all, Washington DC power game. I agree — they are ruthless and unrelenting.
