The Democratic race for president is getting ugly. The latest cat fight comes courtesy of two, high-profile political women.
Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former senator John Edwards, is accusing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton of stealing the health care plan outlined more than seven months ago by her husband, John.
According to Elizabeth Edwards:
“Does Mrs. Clinton’s plan seem very familiar to you? Mrs. Clinton has, seven and a half months after John unveiled his health care plan, unveiled a health care plan that is in every material respect just like John’s.”
Edwards calls Clinton’s plan “John Edwards’ health care plan as delivered by Hillary Clinton.”

ROFL! This is becoming a smackdown at Hooter’s on a Friday night. All they need is mud and thongs and loud rock and roll music!

I see similarities but the plans appear very different as I understand them. Hillary’s requires everyone have insurance, whereas Edwards’ plan is provided by the government. They get you to the same place though. It’s unacceptable to have 48 million Americans without health insurance. This is appalling.

David,
I had a similar reaction.
It’s becoming like American Gladiator. What a political season this is turning out to be.

I can see Elizabeth Edwards in a wet T-shirt kicking ass.
It’s kinda’ hot. Now, Hillary? No, that’s a visage I’ll have to take a pass on.

You guys are a riot. Where did this fascination with women in wet tee shirts originate? Even my husband goes ga ga at the sight of hosed down woman.

Hillary’s healthcare plan is much worse than the other Democrats. Her plan doesn’t help the 47 million who have no insurance, and it certainly does nothing to improve the insurance coverage for those that have coverage.

I admit not being up to speed as I should on the various health proposals offered by the people clamoring for president.
If anyone has a link to a source that breaks all of them down in a non-partisan way, I would be grateful.
